Online the hotel looks very nice, classy and modern, but in reality it is very old and run down. We were supposed to get drink tickets for the managers reception, but never received them. The A/C was very old and was kept on all day while we were out, but the room was still VERY hot at the end of the day. With 100 degree weather, a strong A/C is a must. […] Breakfast was definetely the highlight, with eggs, waffles and potatoes. We were one of the only couples there and the staff made us wait ten minutes while she messed with stuff on her desk. The bed had long hairs all over and a bug on the pillow! The bathrooms were old and dirty. Don't even get me started on the breakfast! Don't waste your money here!

Staff all were extremely helpful and friendly. Hotel and pool were great. Hotel just needs a little updating, like new carpeting. Breakfast was very good each day. Would definitely stay here again.

The hotel was nice, sort of average. The bed was comfortable, the room needed to be upgraded some, but the breakfast was good and the ambience was nice.

I chose this hotel for its convenience to downtown, but the temporary challenge of freeway construction made it a little tougher to navigate from the hotel. the first room: nothing worked and was filthy, second room: was not much better, free breakfast :unfortunate, looked promising but too bad not worth the $ we paid. service was good at least.

Completely outdated. There was mold growing on bottom of bathtub mats. When i asked housekeeping for a replacement, they gave me one with less mold...yuck! However, staff was friendly. Location was in awful part of town.

On paper, this should have been a great place to stay for the money. The grounds, pool, tennis court are very nice. However, the rooms are in real need of maintenance. The carpet was filthy and the bathroom needed a complete overall.

The hotel is just a bit run-down, but comfortable. The room was your basic hotel room (bed, bathroom, desk, TV), but it did have a microwave and a fridge, things that not every hotel offers. There was free wifi in the room and the free full breakfast was really good (it wasn't just pastry and coffee). Very convenient to I-10, but construction along the I-10 frontage road made it a little bit of a chore to get to. Room was okay,but thin sheets and towels, reasonably clean. Place is huge and staff not overly friendly. However, we stayed there just a week after the gem show, for which it was a major venue. Huge tents covered every available space and they were in the process of taking them down. The hotel is difficult to find plus road construction all around the area. They were in the process of setting up tents for the gem show as a result piles of equipment were scattered all over the grounds and parking area. The morning front desk staff was bordering on rude.

This is really comfortable homey hotel. It had great food and drinks (full bar) open. The rooms are pretty big, and the comfort of the beds were great!

This hotel is in a very good location, is clean and comfortable, the breakfast is a complete full breakfast which is very good, but the restaurant area is very very small, there were people standing on line waiting for an empty table; everything else was great.

Hotel was easy to find. Quick and painless check in with friendly service. Hotel is a little old, but the room was clean and comfortable. My favorite part about this hotel was the price and the fact that the jacuzzi is open very late! Would visit again.

The room was never cleaned properly. The location was horrible. The pool was very dirty. The whole area seemed unsafe and I will never stay here again. The only saving grace was one of the guys at the front desk. He was good and should consider moving to another hotel to work.

Room was comfortable, service was fine, although in general the place could use an update. The fitness room could use a little love, or maybe just a few towels, but overall this is a good place to stay for the price - convenient, clean and comfortable. It was perfect for an extended stay on my own, but I wouldn't bring my wife.

The hotel is old and not maintained well. a 4 ft dead plant in large planter withe dead leaves on floor greeted us as we went to our room. The carpet on the landing and the dead leaves were never cleaned up in the 4 days we were there. If I had not prepaid thru Hotels.com, we would not have stayed. Room was old. Bathroom very old. Small stream of water […] with no pressure was all we got in the shower. The sink faucet was dull with lime and the stopper did not work which made it difficult to hand wash a item of clothing. Carpet in room was new and we had a refrigerator and microwave which were good. I never felt clean or safe in the hotel. The hotel information suggested parking your car in front at night and going through front lobby as opposed to parking on the side and using side door. Neighborhood borders on part of Tucson that is old and trashy. Breakfast limited and not staffed enough for the volume of people. Two of the days we were there, we could not find a place to sit and eat. We took our food to the lobby. I see others gave it good ratings. It's a little dated but was clean and comfortable. They should fix the room doors do that you don't have to slam them every time you want to close them.

Lobby looked promising, room was disapppointing. Evidently, security gates were necessary, however the locks did not work. It seems the owner is trying to renovate, but the effort has not reached the entire property.

Hotel was clean and free breakfast adequate. Rates a little higher than competitors.Electronic keys were forever failing (changed 3 times in 3 days).

Very nice for an older facility. Pool was well kept and the breakfast was fantastic. The only negative feedback I have is that the housekeeping staff is a little over eager. They started knocking on the door wanting to clean at 10:00 am when check out isn't until noon.

This is my second stay at the Riverpark and I'm very pleased, for the most part. The rooms are big and the grounds are well taken care of. The breakfast is good, as is the evening menu and beer selection. Unfortunately, the bartender was alone with 6 lobby tables and 4 people eating at the bar. The front desk woman had to help run food. This is an older hotel with many great extras. Tennis court, giant swimming pool and beautiful grounds. Breakfast offered something for everyone. The carpet was stained, but it was clean. It was a nice clean room close to our favorite restaurant (El Charo) and central to several planned activities; AAA baseball game, Desert Museum and shopping. We enjoyed the pool and spa after a busy day. Nice breakfast, too.
