The hotel could use some sound-proofing/deadening in the walls between rooms - we could hear conversation in adjacent room, coughing, running water, etc. Nice to have REAL easy chairs - and 2 of them to boot! Not only is it conveniently located to the Kittery Malls, it also serves as a good central location for day trips to NH and mid-Maine. This was my second stay at the Coachman Inn within 2 months. The motel is clean and the staff is very friendly. It is also centrally located; the outlets are across the street and the beaches just a couple of miles away. "Excellent service"
The hotel is close to the Kittery outlet malls and very well maintained. The front desk managers have been incredibly helpful with recommendations for a good lobster restaurant in the area. The Coachman was a surprisingly nice place, clean, friendly, plenty of towels and decent breakfast. The room was spacious and comfortable although there was a musty smell in the room. "Coachman Inn - perfect for the Kittery Outlets."
The Coachman Inn is ideally situated for the Kittery Outlet stores. The staff are very friendly. There is plenty of parking. The rooms are comfortable and well furnished with tv and small fridge/freezer, and the bathrooms are clean and modern. The hotel is pet friendly. I am picky when it comes to cleanliness and this place was very clean. It was quiet, I did not hear one peep from surrounding rooms, and the bed was comfortable. The only comment that I can make is that a speed sign be paosted at the entrance of the hotel . I was driving to my room parking, a car came speeding through the lot and almost took the front off my car.
