My comfortable room was not overlooking the street so noise. A generous breakfast is offered with made to order eggs. Very close to main railway station so super convenient to transportation system. Just two blocks from the tourist area so great for sightseeing.

The Haberstock had very cheerful staff at reception and the breakfast room, all of whom were very timely in helping with various questions. The building itself is located ideally, just a block away from the Train Station and 5 minutes from the City Center. The room was simple, but comfortable. Unattached parties might find the shower slightly odd, as […] it has a frosted glass window on the side facing the beds. Showering silhouettes are easily visible from the main bedroom area. A group of us wanted a central location to go on the daily ski train from Munich to Garmisch-Partenkirchen. The hotel was very central and located right next to the main railway station and underground. Breakfast was good and unhurried. We had rooms at the top and there was a little bit of noise in the night on the Saturday, but that's what you get […] when you stay in the centre of the city! We all would stay there again. Seedy area around the main train station. Smelly hall way. Excellent servie regardless and once inside the room, was fine. Noisy area though.

Very good location if you want a hotel near the main station. Main drawback is that the street it is in has a late sports bar opposite and a "sex shop" next to the bar. But provided this is not a problem it is good value - not a hotel for families.

This is a very acceptable hotel with instant access to the central railway station, metro, etc. The surrounding neighborhood has some 'red light' elements, but the entrance to all public transportation is steps from the door. The breakfast (included) was also very good and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Only one drawback: wifi is available […] only in the lobby area, not in the rooms. In the room you can connect only by LAN cable, which the hotel provides, but which does you no good if you're using an iPad as I was. This hotel is conveniently situated just across the road from the main railway station. However, I would like to point out the following pitfalls: Despite it's convenient location for the station, it would not be suitable for families due to being opposite a strip club. We were on the 2nd floor at the front of the hotel and it was quite noisy at night […] (not sure if this was due to the strip club or the sports bar also opposite). Maybe a room at the back would be less nosiy. Just a hundred metres from the hotel were many table dancing bars so families should keep in the direction of the station or Karlplatz/rathaus etc. The hotel is very basic. There are no tea making facilities in the room but it is a clean, although a little worn hotel. The rooms (I saw 2 of them) were quite small and our room's layout was very inconvenient. There was a fridge in the room though which was quite handy. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The low overall rating was due to the pitfalls mentioned above. Skaityti daugiau

Nice location, steps away from the central station, excellent staff, all were very friendly, very clean hotel, breakfast was excellent, wifi when downstairs was excellent but up in my room on the first floor it was a problem getting wifi signal and the ethernet cable didn't help.

The hotel staff spoke English very well and was helpful. We had a misunderstanding about how many people were staying in our room and they were great to work with. The hotel needed a little work; the elevator is tiny and fit 2 people and luggage. Also, the windows are not sound proof so better bring your earplugs!

The street is in a shables, but the hotel is acceptable. Old, and can improve on maintenance. The bed and matress are good and feel nice. The wireless works well in the lobby. In teh room there is no wifi reception, and the cable they give you is useless. Most reception people were pleasant and helpfull. They brag with the buffet, which is really nice, […] but the lady in charge of it is users' hostile. The bathroom is small and not well evntilated. The hotel and staff were great. But, the hotel is located on a street that is full of Gentlemen's clubs and some rift raft, Some beggars will approach you for a block or two, but then, it becomes the main tourist area, and things are fine. Overall, Hotel Haberstock was very good. The only problem was that the lack of air conditioning in the rooms. Other than that, the hotel was very good. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The room was tidy, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very good with a good selection to choose from. The fact the hotel is close to the main train station […] is strong selling point. Very basic hotel which is expected at the price. Friendly staff and very well located to central Munich. Not a bad place to stay if you like it very basic.

The hotel is fine and breakfast is a nice touch. I would recommend it. Just beware if it's hot. There didn't seem to be any AC and the street below is a bit noisy even late into the evening. Wasn't a problem for me, but if you're sensitive, it could be.

Wonderful and always helpful people at the reception. I guess weekend nights are noisy but the location makes it as an ideal place to stay and see Munich.

Hotelissimo Haberstock is so close to central station and 15 minutes walk to town central, very convenient. I will live there again and recommend every tourists to Munich.

We had a very pleasant stay. The service was very good and the staff friendly. Breakfast was excellent. The hotel is located next to the station but at the same time the area seems a bit rough at night.

Great location across the road from the central railway station and a short walk to the city centre. Immediate surround is slightly grotty and appears to be the red light district. Apart from that the location is fantastic for the budget conscious traveller. Breakfast was excellent - individually cooked hot meal as requested and a good selection of […] breads, cereals, fruits, meats, cheeses and juices. Our only disappointment was that there was no wireless internet connection to the rooms which meant we had to sit in the foyer to use the internet. If we'd had our computer we were offered a cord for internet connection in our room but we only travel with an i-phone so could only use wifi. Staff were very friendly and accomodating. The hotel is very well situated, close to the train station and a short walk to Marienplatz. The rooms are a little dated and could stand some renos. The street outside is really noisy (and I'm not generally one to complain about noise). We were kept awake by drunken revelers each night. Closing the window helped but since there is no a/c this only […] serves to make the room pretty stuffy. Breakfast was really good and the service was very good as well. The only problem I had with the hotel that might affect the likelihood of my selecting it again for a business trip is the presence of a sports bar immediately across the road. This stays open until 3 or 4 in the morning and little attempt is made to curb the noise made by patrons. Probably not a problem in the winter, but in the summer the disturbance […] is significant so for someone needing to work in their hotel room it is a problem; not to mention the impact on a good night's sleep. If you are looking for a place in Munich which is close to the main station and within walking distance to the Glockenspiel then this is the place. There is nothing special about this place however it is clean and in a very convenient location. The reception staff are super friendly and helpful and they were able to answer any query I had about what […] to do in Munich. The hotel is simple and clean. Breakfast is good and the staff friendly and multilingual. Wifi only really works around reception and the breakfast room. I was on the 6th floor so had no Wifi (though cable connection was offered). A very convenient area right next to an exit of the central station. Very convenient if arriving by train, or Lufthansa Bus, which operates between the main rail station and terminals at Munich airport.Can be noisy, so ask for room at back of hotel.Coffee and tea making would have been nice.Excellent breakfast buffet. No English-speaking TV channels.

The hotel was convenient to everything. The only draw back was the street side room. Very noise especially since I had to keep the windows open and the bar across the street stayed open until at least 3:00 AM. The staff was exceptional, very friendly and attentive. This over came the noise by far.

Great Staff, Great Breakfast, Great Location. The only draw back is the noise at night from the street. There is a sports bar right across from the hotel, and if soccer games are on the noise level is loud until closing time. Ask for a room not facing the street ad this should take care of it.

Wonderful little hotel around the corner from the train station. Friendly staff and great breakfast. The one negative: if you are on the lower floors 1 or 2 in a street side room the noise can be bothersome. The hotel is located across the street from a cafe (not bar) that stays open late. The night we stayed was the first really warm spring night of […] the season so I believe the locals were enjoying sitting outside the cafe until all hours. Good hotel which I last visited 15 years ago but was much the same. Room was a little small but as a single traveller I may have been put in one of the smaller ones. It didn't matter anyway. It also advertised free internet connection but they don't have a room - the free bit was a connection if you bring your own. Breakfast room was excellent and plentiful […] and best of all it came gratis with the room. Location is virtually next to the main station so it couldn't be easier. I booked this hotel as a solo traveler in Munich for a handful of nights. The location was prime being just blocks from the main train station and easily walkable to Marienplatz, "Old Town," and all the sites within it. It's close location to the main train station makes day trips to outlying sites extremely easy. The hotel was very standard - nothing […] fancy, but does the job for a place to sleep, shower and keep your bag. It's not one to spend much time in. It is across the street from a strip club, but I did not find this to downgrade the quality. It did make it a bit noisy at night, and if you had to open the window and sleep light, you may have a problem if you face the street.
