When booking this hotel, I expected something much nicer. I had just stayed in a room with the same hotel chain in Dallas the weekend before; In comparison, this hotel was not as nice. The room was tiny even though it was a room with two queen beds. Could not open door to room if bathroom door was open; there was no closet. The whole entrance to the […] room was awkward. The A/C unit blew directly on to the bed that was closest to the window. It had a air deflector but was on top of the vents making the air hit the bed rather than on the bottom which would make the air go up. The beds were creaky and the mattresses need to be replaced. It wasn't uncomfortable but just did not give you that "nice, comfortable" feeling. The refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot area was pretty awkward too; there was no area to place anything. I had to move the coffee pot over to the desk. It was just an odd room. The carpets looked clean but we found a piece of meat, or something, beside the bed closest to the window; so apparently it had not been vacuumed very well. My kids grossed out and didn't want to sleep on that bed. It wasn't the most horrible place but for the price and the name of the hotel, I did expect better! Skaityti daugiau

This hotel was close to the airport and many restaurants therefore making it convenient for us to stay there prior to our flight.

This is a very nice and clean place to stay. We arrrived at 1 in the morning from a flight on the way to Galveston for a Disney Cruise. The shuttle promptly picked us up from the airport and took us to the hotel. The front desk staff was very friendly and quickly gave us our room keys with no hassles. I wasn't going to write a review but this survey keeps popping up so I will. We had just spent three days in an Hamption Inn and the contrast between the two was striking to me. I'd prefer a Hamption any day over this hotel. It wasn't the room, it was OK nor the staff. They were great. It was the price for what you got compared to the Hamption. Hotel was clean and well staffed. Good complementary breakfast buffet. Excellent insulation from street noise, so proximity to I-45 was no problem. Minor glitches: Wi-Fi service was slow, and did not work on 2nd day at all for me. Room temp was hot upon entry and returning at days end, so had to wait about a half hour for AC to cool off room. Great service. Clean room. Was able to get an extended check out time so that we wouldn't have to be rushed returning from funeral. Free breakfast was very good.

This was a major upgrade from the original hotel we picked. The service was excellent, my room was clean, nothing broken, quiet neighbors...just lovely.

Pros: Friendly staff (Big plus for me), Single King Room was clean and very comfortable( I usually don't sleep well in hotels), Free breakfast with some hot food, very centralized to car rental and Houston Hobby Airport Cons: The area was not the best, but it was next to another well known chain, didn't see that it had a pool( but I was not there looking […] for one), the room was a little on the small side, hotel is next to the freeway. Liked everything except being put in a room that faced I-45 and you know how much traffic goes up and down that Interstate. Next time will ask to be not put facing I-45.

To start off the breakfast buffet was really really good. The beds were very comfortable and room was spacious. The indoor pool was good (a little too cold) but good and the hottub was great. Over all a good Hotel and would stay here again.

The stay was fine we went to Galveston came back got comfortable wanted to go swimming in pool but system was down so the pool water was freezing. the Jacuzzi was dirty and the front receptionist did not inform anyone of the issues with the indoor pool. I enjoyed my stay very much; the bed was extremely comfortable, and I slept without interruption. The room was in a quiet location. Breakfast turned out to be much more than expected; hot omelets one day, scrambled eggs the next, along with hot biscuits, bacon, sweet rolls and muffins, plus a choice of cold cereals, plus of course, coffee and tea. the hotel stay overall was ok. i would book this again. however i do have some complaints. the indoor pool was extremely cold. so i had to sit in the hot tub with my 3 yr old and it was very crowded. the continental breakfast was all gone by 8 am and the attendant did not seem like she wanted to get anymore so we had to eat breakfast out on 1 of our […] days there. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable but the pull out bed for the kids did not look comfortable. The hotel did provide us with extra sheets and towels when we requested them. I stay in this area of Houston a lot. My opinion of this hotel is that it does not meet the standards of most Holiday Inn Expresses I've stayed at. The furniture in the rooms was very cheap, the mattress was uncomfortable and overall the finish of the room was lacking.

In need of an intire renovation. Musty smelling rooms. Jacuzzi was luke warm. If I were in a bath, I would turn on the hot water. Jets simply bubbled to the top and splashed your head. Obviously missing parts. No towels in pool area. We chose this hotel for the indoor pool and jacuzzi. Dissapointing.

We had booked 2 rooms #201 and 203. When we went to 203 we opened the door with the key card and it was already occupied with people in bed! This was embarassing and could even have been deadly. Of the keys issued to 201. One didn't work. I am not happy with your orginazation

I thought I had stayed at this location before but I was wrong. Turns out there are two Holiday Inn Express locations near the Hobby Airport. THis location needs updating, the air conditioning unit in the room could not be adjusted, the bed was unconfortable and the pillows made my neck hurt. I had stayed here one night before, so I brought swim trunks for the indoor pool and hot tub. Hot tub looked like it had been out of service for months. My Recent stay at this Hotel, was horrible. I had made reservations for a Sat and Sun. I called and added a Fri., anyway, when we arrived,there was no problems until we tried to enter our rooms. Both keys to my and my mother room did not work,so we went down and recieved different key cards ,again they did not work. The cleaning Lady let us into our […] rooms. This carried on for the whole weekend,changing keys. Now we come back from a function,got to our rooms, could not get in, went back to the front desk and asked why can't we enter our rooms, she stated " You only reserved the room for one night sir" I could not believe what i was hearing. I proceeded to tell the clerk how i added a day to my weekend reservation and that it was taken care of. I graciously offered to get my reservation confirmation information for her. At this point my mother was very up set. Finally the problem was resolved and she found our reservations. went to our rooms, my key to my room did not work,but the good news is that my mother key worked. Wow!!! the rooms were not very clean and we had to ask for cleaner wash cloths, because the ones we had, had stains on them. The Staff for the most part tried to fix our LITTLE!!! problems, but i believe there should better comunication between staff members. For the price, the hotel and staff were very nice. Housekeeping kept the room clean daily, food was hot and tasty each day. Good job.

This is a nice, clean small hotel that is very convenient to the Houston/Hobby airport. A hot breakfast was included in the price of our room. Our room was comfortable, but not fancy, with a microwave and a mini-fridge. The Hotel was ok, but probably wouldn't stay there again. Breakfast was good and had a lot of variety. The pool & hot tub was very good size for an indoor pool. My kids enjoyed it a lot. The room was small though for a suite. Once we pulled out the couch for kids to sleep on we couldn't even sit in the chairs not enough room. Also, twice we had to ask […] for extra towels and our garbage can to be emptied as it was late in the day and the cleaning crew hadn't had a chance to get to our room yet. Holiday Inn Express on Gulf Hwy is convenient to Hobby Airport--about five minutes away--but you may struggle to get a good night's rest unless you usually sleep on the freeway and are used to nonstop traffic. We liked everything else about the hotel, but that's a tough one to overcome.

We stayed at this hotel at the beginning of January 2011. Staff was VERY courteous, room was great, very tasty complimentary breakfast, but what we really enjoyed was the indoor pool. It was 40 degrees outside and we were inside in the very comfy jacuzzi while my kids had a blast in the pool. Great stay!
