My sister and I stayed here one night on vacation and we just loved the place. It was super cozy, the front desk staff was so helpful with tips on what to do, where to go, etc, and the location was very convenient, just a short walk from the beach/shore and lots of shopping. It is in a nice spot if going to the Playhouse or if you enjoy walking; it is located 3-5 minute walk from the beach. The room, hotel lobby, and the grounds were clean and very pretty, but the pool and hot tub were not (bad weather was due in a couple of days and perhaps they did not think anyone would be using them, although they were good and chlorinated). […] We were there early, I guess before season so it was hard to find an employee and there was no breakfast available as advertised. Room is a good size, nice vanity and shower, however it is a little dark, and beds are a bit lumpy. We chose this resort for its walking proximity to the beach, Marginal Way and downtown shops - and for this, it was very well situated. We also chose the hotel based on the fact that WI-FI was available in all rooms - this was not the case. At best and with continued tinkering, the WI-FI would be availabe a few minutes then my husband had to move to […] another location. The hotel and staff were wonderful, but the room was sparce and my husband and I both found the bed to be quite uncomfortable. Both of us woke up with backaches!

The hotel room had more of a bedroom/home setting then just a hotel room. It had the comforts of being home vs. just your average hotel room. Wonderful!

Noisy hallways, our room was literally behind the elevator and could hear the elevator motor and people talking all night. The construction is cheap, no air conditioning, very bad heating system as well. Absolutely no privacy due to thin walls, you could hear people in other rooms, hallways, and elevator. I would not recommend it.

The hotel was great for us - just an over-night stay for a concert on Friday night. Everything was clean and freshly painted. The only problem I had was with the thermostat - couldn't turn it down and they had it on 72- 74 - too hot for me to sleep comfortably - had to open a window.......probably should have called front desk, but decided not to. Very nice stay. Parking lot was a little hard to park in, due to a recent snow storm. Looks like there was no place to put the snow. Service was very good. Room was very clean and comfortable.

The staff was not always at the front desk and difficult to locate. They were not very helpful in sights to see. I don't know if its typical of all of Maine but the parking lot was not plowed and we had difficulty parking in the lot. Spent four nights at this inn, close to center of Ogunquit. Nice clean place to stay. Nice location for easy walking distance to restaurants and beach. Worth spending time at the inn if you're in town visiting there as well as surrounding towns.

The stay was exactly what we expected. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. A good standard hotel. Breakfast was good in the dining room.

The heater was so noisy we turned it off and got under the covers to keep warm to sleep.The rooms need a thermostate, because it never stops.

We were very comfortable during our stay at the Admirals Inn Resort recently. The room was large & clean & nicely appointed with a large 6 drawer dresser, flat screen TV, refrigerator & great split bath. The free WiFi was easy to connect to & fast. Lovely place to stay. Nice, large rooms (could use some kind of a table and lamp near the chairs) with nice facilites, including nice restaurant, exercise room/spa, living area in lobby of our building. The office and restaurant staff couldn't have been friendlier or more helpful. They're tops! And Nancy's has a wonderful breakfast.

Smelly towels were frankly disgusting. Were they clean? Had they be dried properly? I couldn't use my washcloth. I suppose we should have complained, but it was late and, in the morning, we wanted to leave early. The room and bed were fine, and the staff pleasant. However, at breakfast our waiter didn't notice that I had neither utensils nor a napkin […] and, when asked to supply them, failed to do so. We suspect there may have been a language barrier. After waiting, I helped myself from a neighboring table. By then my pancakes were not hot. And why would a restaurant in Maine serve fake maple syrup that wasn't even sweet? Upgrading cost $2.50! We loved this Inn. It is just a few blocks away from the start of the famous Marginal Way walkway along the coast. Beautiful view there! Our only complaint is that the shower in our room was slow. Need to clean out the shower head.

Enjoyed the stay very much but the room was too warm to our liking. Would stay again. The room was peaceful and I felt like a true guest.

Location was great, but the hotel is not really a resort. The rooms were clean, but had little style. The refrigerator was in the closet, and was awkward. Seemed like everything from sink fixtures to hangers to towels and shampoo were selected to save costs. Dated, despite having been remodled.

The staff was great and very helpful in pointing out places to eat, shop and visit. On the minus side, we had two beds and the next morning we each were complaining about our beds, I don't know what it was as they appeared to be good mattresses but they were very uncomfortable. Otherwise a good hotel.

Good overall but significantly over priced the Sat night stay. Staff was nice. Room smaller than European and plumbing weak.

we were disappointed by the lack of continental breakfast which was advertised when we made our reservations. Then nobody told us about the 10% discount off breakfast for guests...we overheard someone at another table talking about it.

Hotel was in great location and facilities were good overall. The only thing I would not do again is take a room on the top floor of the original building. It was clean and neat but the shower area was very small with slanted ceiling. If your tall you wouldn't want it. Also a lot of stairs to get to it no elevator in Old building.

We were in the old house. Taking luggage up narrow stairs was a big hassle and there was lots of road noise. No phone in the room. No desk. Very disappointed

The title gives the summary. Room was fairly large but only had the basics. Wifi access password was not provided in room info or by front desk at checkin (instructions said we would have one or the other). By the time we tried to use it, the front office was closed. Luckily someone had written the PW on a random card which was still left in the room […] info book, so we managed to log on. Our first room seemed more like a half-way house room until we requested to move because the "Common Room" above us sounded like a Stampede going on from 6am. When requested to change rooms they told us that it's not what they normally do but we're giving you a room in the "Adults Only" section....which btw....is how we checked in??? Anyway that room […] was better but the walls are PAPER THIN and you can hear EVERYTHING around you. Thank God for the air conditioner. I will say that it was clean and well maintained but for as much as the room cost it wasn't nearly worth it.....we found other places along the beach that were less expensive and seemed much nicer. Admirals Inn is a good basic choice for a quality no-frills hotel in Ogunquit. One advantage is its location: about 1/3 mile south of the center of town. Ogunquit is famous for its traffic jams during high season. You'll be glad you're not in the middle of it. Admirals Inn still close enough to walk to many of the area restaurants and shops. Basic no frills, very clean hotel with a great location, just a 5 minute walk from town a bit on pricey side. Quiet grounds and pool, which we didn't use. We (couple) stayed behind the main building on the first floor of two story structure. The room had a comfortable king sized bed. Room was clean and spacious with coffee maker and refrigerator (appreciated) […] and flat screen TV. Would have been nice to have some outdoor chairs outside the hotel rooms to sit on- we had to haul out the room chairs to sit down. Perhaps they didn't want a "motel" vibe with chairs outside? A/C which was necessary due to hot humid weather worked fine to cool the room, but was loud. Didn't use any other amenities so I can't comment. Staff seemed friendly in my short interactions. Please remind cleaners to empty and clean coffee pots and provide plastic bag liners for ice buckets. Website somewhat misleading on this hotel. Room had no coffeemaker, phone or clock. Although listed as a "B & B", they charge for breakfast & even coffee in the morning!

the grounds were very nicely maintained. We enjoyed the swimming pools.The one toward the back was a little smaller but quieter than the one toward the front of the hotel. The staff was excellent.If I had to do it over I would stay in one of the newer buildings because the rooms in the main part were a little small.
