Internacional Design Hotel - Lisabona

Staff was extremely helpful, hotel was "unique", excellent location, right down in Rossio Square...we could walk or take the sight-seeing bus almost everywhere! There was a great breakfast buffet. We received a super recommendation for dinner our first night there. The shower was great!

We stayed 7 nights, and we found the hotel and its staff to be lovely. Though located right in the heart of the city, our room was quiet and calm. We were in a "Zen" room--all white, neutral decor. Comfortable bed. A beautiful renovation of an old building. Like the modern style of the interior, but you take your life in your hands in the tubs, as they are incredibly slippery and there is no mat. Glass door on bathroom is also a bit much. But, helpful friendly staff, location and breakfast included makes it an excellent place to stay.

Just stayed overnight after visiting Sintra and loved so many of the modern designs in an historic setting . All the staff were so friendly, the bar was just again very chic and comfortable and as a single traveller I felt very safe in this truly boutique hotel

Great breakfast buffet! The location was perfect, easy walking distance to many areas and the metro was close for traveling to more distant places. There were many restaurants close by. The train to Sintra leaves from the station at the top of Rossio Square. The room was small but well-apponted. Great boutique hotel in the best location, staff are extremely lovely, friendly & helpful. Stayed in 211 cocoon room, for those who complain the rooms are small, they haven't visited Europe much, the rooms are bigger than your average European rooms, but these are much better appointed. Nice hotel at a great location. We had a great breakfast and a room with a balcony over Rossio Sq. Our only complaint is that the bathroom would have a weird smell at night. Also, we could hear the TV from the next room and that would wake us up.

Outstanding location, even a decent view of two of the cities main squares. Great Breakfast, Great Staff. Very close to Metro, buses and trams. Get a 5 Euro daily pass and use all city transportation for 24 hours. Metro goes from airport to within 200 meters of hotel. We loved this place. The staff were all friendly, the entire facility spotless. Breakfast was wonderful, the bar cozy and romantic, and the location is right in the middle of everything. Every flakier has a different theme. Ask to see them. The caccoon room is tiny, but you aren't breaking the bank either. Overall a great value. Two thumbs up.

Friendly,obliging staff Breakfast was excellent and service good......didn't expect a packed breakfast for our 5.45am departure but it appeared. Was very much welcomed. Rooms are on the small side but ample sized bathroom , coffee making facilities & free wi fi made up for the size!

The staff at this hotel are excellent and some of the best that I have encountered in my travels. The hotel is chic and hip, and has a decidedly upbeat friendly vibe. Location is also excellent, within @ 50 meters of a Blue Line metro station, @ 125 meters of a Green Line metro station, and @ 100 meters of a train station (including a Starbucks, for […] those interested), as well as plenty of shopping and restaurants. The only downside to it was that the room we were in was rather small, even by European standards (there are various levels of room available, and I guess I must have reserved a small one). We found the hotel to be in the perfect location, very central for sightseeing and close to the Bairro Alto area which is good for evening dinner and drinks. Great hotel in Lisbon. Wi-fi was a plus and also plenty of tv channels including ESPN America. Cocoon room is small but I was expecting that. Location is absolutely perfect for all the major sights in Lisbon. All together I loved my stay.

As with all "design" hotels there is a bit of pretentiousness about this place (I'm thinking of glasses and plates that are cut at an angle so that if you fill them you are in danger of spilling the contents). I wasn't over-impressed by the black toilet paper either! BUT! The reception staff were wonderful and very helpful, the room was kept wonderfully […] clean and the food at breakfast was very good (as was the service). The location, right in Rossio, could not have been better. The only thing that I really didn't like were their equivalent of "do not disturb" signs which said "get lost" - not funny or clever! The best thing about this hotel was its location. We were in the midst of things and also near subwayand tram stops. Breakfast was great. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was small but fine and whimsically decorated.

Strange curtain sistem. Curtains cover not only window but the table alongside. And you have an acsses to the table than curtains are open (and building looks right to the nearby building with windows and people inside). Not very convinient especially in the evenings. Soundproofing could be better.

The staff is just amazing, they are very nice and helpful and speak perfect English and Spanish. I tipped 7 euros to the person helping us with our three big bags when we checked in and he did not want to accept it because it was too much. The staff wants to make your stay great. The last day another person in the staff put our bags in our car while […] we had breakfast after check out and did not accept our tip because he said there was no need to do so. The hotel is very well located, it is a couple of blocks from Sta Catarina street and from Cafe Majestic. They have parking in the hotel for 10 euros per day which it is very reasonable. The AC in the room works great (unlike other European hotels we have encountered). The rooms are clean and comfortable. They have free wireless but it is a bit slow. The hotel is excellent - clean, great design, and best of all it is incredibly centrally located. The front desk staff were helpful with directions and places to eat, plus were very nice. The only drawback is that the room was tiny! But well designed and clean lines.
