the free wine/beer snacks was very welcome at the end of a long day. The breakfast area was spacious, food adequate, and staff both friendly and effective. I had to drop off a rental car, and the pear tree shuttle picked me up in 10 minutes. I would both recommend and stay at this location again.

It was a decent hotel to stay in before flying out the following morning. We were charged a daily parking fee for our vehicle this year and were never charged a parking fee in previous years.

Our experience was excellent. Hotel clean, well maintained, comfortable. Staff is friendly. Shuttle to airport is available on demand. Free snacks and beverages late in the day and hot breakfast with eggs and sausage.

the hotel itself is good but the clerk working at the desk that evening is not helpful at all! My heating was not working and she said she would come and have a look. We have stayed at the Pear Tree a couple of times now and we really like the relaxed and friendly atmosphere of the hotel and the staff. We do like the 3 free drinks each night, free popcorn and tea / coffee and soda and the free hot breakfast was all we needed to start the day. The location is just across the i70 from the airport so it is very convenient […] to getting around St Louis and even though it was so close to the freeway and airport we had very quiet nights without those outside noises. Located near the airport, we stayed here as it was 2 properties away from the Marriott where my meeting was but was half the price. Free breakfast & wifi were nice. Breakfast was about average for what you would expect. Rooms were older looking, but we really were only there for when we slept so it wasn't much of a bother. There's a shuttle to and from […] the airport, though we didn't have a need for it since we had a rental car. Close to the airport! The hotel staff was very pleasant and helpful at check-in and also at 5:15 AM when we needed to get a shuttle to the airport. I will definitely go back and recommend this hotel to others.

We chose the Pear Tree after reading a lot of positive reviews and for the location near the airport and rental car companies. The PT was a great relief after a long travel day before Thanksgiving. The room was clean. The people were very nice and helpful. Would stay there again, but would bring my own shampoo and soap. Also would bring my own towels. Very convenient to the airport and metro.

Good service, my 2 observations are too long waiting for being attrnded in the check in and lack of milk and waflle flour during the breakfast but after all it was a pretty good service.

I asked for a room on the first floor, and that was not a problem. The front desk personnel were courteous, friendly, and patient In-room coffee is pretty good, the breakfast is adequate (would like to bring back those waffles!), free parking was nearby (past a security gate),and the 24/7 shuttle prompt and helpful. The shuttle driver handled my bags […] and was there when I needed to leave. Lights and outlets in the room could be better located for reading/charging. Reasonably good overall, great location for flying out of STL. Park and fly is reasonably priced and there is ample parking. Amenities in the bathroom such as toiletries are minimal. Staff at the front desk did not inform us that to get a ride on the hotel's shuttle van from the airport back to the hotel, you have to call the hotel -- the shuttle does […] not run on a schedule all day. Pear Tree's 24/7 shuttle from STL and its good rates on hotels.com make it a perfect stop if you have a late airport arrival or an early morning departure. I have always found PTI to be friendly and helpful. I do wish there was a LITTLE more variety with the free breakfast, if that's not asking too much. The rooms, lobby and just the entire hotel in general were in excellant condition. The free drinks and condements every evening from 5;30 to 7;30 were fantastic!!!! We parked our car and flew from the St Louis airport and were shuttled to and from the airport with no problems at all!!! They really have it all perfected!!!! Loved it!!!

Overall good for the price. Shuttle was very convenient. Staff attentive. Free beer/wine and snacks in the evening. My only complaint is that the bed was very uncomfortable. Long term parking was $6 day (free day of stay).

The room is clean with no bed bugs. If that is all that you care about in a hotel room, then this would be perfect. For the price paid, I felt the room was a disappointment. There were no toiletries, the room had an old and rustic smell in it. Although, I got a no smoking room, it was easy to tell that there was definitely a smoker in the room previously. […] The room is decent, don't get me wrong, but over priced. They have a free breakfast till 10.00AM. Its not the most impressive breakfast but it works I guess. All in all it was a good stay, only problem I had was the toliet had problems flushing, but delt with that. The breakfast was good. The service was very nice.
