I was disappointed. I thought breakfast was included in the roomrate. My daughter and her 2 little girls went down to have breakfast and were told they would have to pay for breakfast. They chose to go to a local donut shop. If I had known the meal wasn't included I would have booked elsewhere.

Everything from check-in to check-out went great. The hot tub in the pool area is the largest I've ever seen. The location was very handy for our trip to Middleton. We would stay there again in a minute.

We have stayed here for 3 years. Siblings and spouses gather for the past 3 years and have had a fantastic time. We love the large table at which we can gather together. Staff is super friendly. Rooms are very comfortable and clean. We will be back!

Clean, Quiet, and Friendly Staff. Nice pool and amenities.

If you want a hotel that is close to Madison, but do not want to pay downtown Madison prices, the Hilton Garden Inn is a good choice. The hotel is in a nice area and still close to Madison and Fitchburg. Rooms are clean and comfortable. The indoor pool is nice to use year-round.

looks like this hotel was recently renovated. very nice hotel. nice workout room and nice pool area especially for kids. the noise however was horrible. i rated comfort low because of this. coudl hear people above me walking, could hear many guests taking showers and flushing toilets and i could hear word for word the conversations and tv in the adjoining […] room...the adjoining door was like a piece of paper. i stayed at the hotel over thanksgiving weekend, and despite there being few guests at the hotel...all the guest were placed next to each other. someone should have overwritten room assignments in the computer. Friendly staff, clean rooms and a very comfortable bed, matched by a great location right next to a new shopping area with bars, restaurants, stylish shops...the ideal hotel for me as a business traveller - but ideal for couples and families too!

A great, clean and convenient hotel. The staff was very friendly, the room was very comfortable, and the morning breakfast buffet was wonderful! The only reason I down-graded it to a 4 was because my husband and I wanted a nightcap (it was around 10pm), but the bar had already closed down. Otherwise, I highly recommend this hotel!! Two thumbs up!

This hotel was right at the start line and was a very nice hotel anyway. The location for me was great. The pool looked nice, but I never used it. I also wasn't able to partake of the breakfast before the event. But the location was great, and there were many shops and restaurants all around it.

This hotel is fairly new, and the rooms are set up so they actually make perfect sense! Finally a bathroom that has enough light to put on makeup, and a shower curtain that lets the shower breathe so the bathroom doesn't get all steamed up. The location is convenient to the freeway, shopping, & restaurants. If all the Hilton Garden Inns look & operate […] like this one - this is the hotel we will go to whenever possible. Enjoyed our stay at the Hilton Garden in Madison, WI. Staff service was prompt and efficient. While breakfast was not included in room rate, the price was excellent for the superb food. Would definitely stay at the hotel again.

1.) Would have preferred a scaled down breakfast bar without having to pay for it. 2.)The comforter was nice but kept sliding off the bed in the night.

A clean hotel in a good location, the major headache-no breakfast buffet or even coffee. Went to get a coffee and yogurt before checking out. Was informed there was a charge. If you are traveling with a family, or scouting for an alumni trip for a future UW game, there is no way you would want to spend an additional 12.00-15.00 per person for breakfast […] when so many other hotels offer it as complimentary. I can never understand the mindset of those who set policy. Why not charge an additional 10.00 per room and make it complimentary? Nice hotel & great location for our purpose. The only thing I miss is a continental breakfast included but that gave a good excuse to explore a bit. Good value for the price.

We stayed only one night. There was a wedding reception going on with loud music, but we were on the 2nd floor, so were not bothered by it. The staff were friendly and helpful. I think, for the price, that breakfast should have been included. Fairly new hotel, very well kept and outside of Madison, so you don't hear any traffic. The room was very nice, with a fridge, microwave and coffee maker. This is a vanilla bland Hilton in the middle of an ex-corn field turned upscale shopping mall, but the rooms are large, clean and comfortable. The fleece mattress covers are a particularly nice touch. Outdoor types should take note of the Orvis outlet store across the street.

I had a very nice stay at the Hilton and would stay there again. The staff were very hospitable and friendly. I had reserved 3 rooms which were for my daughter,sister, and myself and we were all pleased. Everything was clean and well maintained as well. I will recommend this hotel.

Common areas clean and in good condition. Room very comfortable. Loved that the duvet cover is laundered. Strange layout, if bathroom door is open it blocks the room entry door. Annoyed that breakfast was not free.

The room was clean and tastefully decorated. The whirlpool tub was a bit on the small side (deep enough, but a bit short). The staff was friendly and professional. The location is great. Plenty of quality restaurants in the area, good shopping and a fair amount of tourist related activities. Loved the Mustard Museum!

In the ads, the pool was shown to have several kid features which have been disabled and are being removed. So should remove from literature on the hotel. Also, pool although kept well was very cold. Other than that, hotel was very nice.

Breakfast was a buffet that was $11.00. Italian Rest across the street had the room service. Food was good but all was ala carte and quite pricey. Many other places to eat in a close radius. Hotel was very well kept. Just a strange location in a shopping Center.

Even though it was under renovation, the hotel was still clean and comfortable. Desk help could have a bit more knowledge and, for goodness sake, get a wine corkscrew -- both at the desk and in the hotel bar.

The staff was friendly and helpful. They called Ruth's Crist restaurant and made reservations for us, as well as giving us a coupon for a free appretizer there. We were awakened in the middle of the night by the people upstairs jumping and yelling for about 25 minutes. We called the front desk and then it ended. It was 3 a.m.
