Hotel 10 - Monrealis

I stayed here with my boyfriend and we had a wonderful time. The rooms were beautiful and the beds were so comfortable it was hard to get up. The location was also great, only a 15 minute walk to old montreal, and less than that to the shopping on Rue St. Catherine.

We were there for a stag. The hotel was very accommodative. Great service and location. Nice staff too! I have stayed at the best hotels W , SLS, Loews, this hotel is up there with the best!

Our stay in Montreal was very pleasant, and made even more so by our stay at Hotel 10. It's a small boutique hotel (only 5 floors), and despite having a room that was right next to one set of our loud friends and right below another set of even louder friends, we never heard a peep out of their rooms. The beds are very comfy, and I loved the nice big […] shower. There's a complementary breakfast if you prepay your room, and it was way more than your standard continental fare (hot scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon in addition to yogurt, pastries, fresh fruit & juices, etc). Best of all was the neighborhood it was in. So easy to walk to all of the best shopping in Montreal and a quick cab ride to the restaurants we wanted to visit. Skaityti daugiau

16$ fee for the internet / day !!! wow... I told that I would cancel the rest of my stay and finally, they gave it to me for free... The underground parking is the worst I've seen in my life, long check in and check out. Don't come after 11h pm because you will have to walk inside (or call) to the the doors open. I do not recommand this hotel

The hotel interior looks good. with careful, modern design and a chic environment. The two issues though are very poor lighting in the bedrooms: so dark impossible to read a book comfortably even when an extra light unit requested and installed. The hotel is in a good location within walking distance to St. Catherine Street and Chinatown. Just for Laughs is just around the corner! The hotel is about 2 blocks north of the St. Laurent metro station and we picked it because it was close to our friends. We had another couple staying at a nearby hotel that was envious when they came by one evening.

Very charming staff, very clean hotel. Since the hotel is classified amongst the modern hotels, I would highly recommend that they maintain the room, there were lots of scratches and dents in the furniture and around the wash room doors. Very nice hotel! Staff was courteous and extremely accommodating. There is a restaurant/club on the grouhd floor and I was concerned that the noise would be a problem. I requested a room that would minimize this and the room given was perfect. I could not hear anything but my husband's snoring! Hotel tries to make your stay hip, but basics are disappointing. The decor is a tad strange with dark grey walls, wavy mirrors, cement ceilings, but all this makes for a feel that is more cell-like than comfortable. Quality of room is ok but hotel is far from amenities. Also hotel is hard to find. Neon sign says "Hotel" and you are supposed to find the 10 within the "Hotel" word. Hotel also just had a change of name from Opus. This hotel is very badly-run on an organizational level (not just a few incompetent staff) and does not seem to have a system making things […] convenient for guests. As an example, If you use their parking lot and have to come back late or take the car out early in the morning, you will need to go to lobby and ask someone to open the garage door for you. Very inconvenient. On the morning we left, we were asked to pay for parking. We were asked to walk to the basement, find and pay the parking lot attendant. It turned out the attendant was not in that early. On way back to front desk, met hotel receptionist at elevator, paid him, but he never came back to me with change. I asked for receipt and but they cannot issue receipt because parking is run by another company and the guy is not in that early. The hotel and staff was excellent but since there is a bar/restaurant on the corner of the street, I heard the music till 3 o'clock. If you are a light sleeper, I would not recommend this hotel on a Saturday. Otherwise, great location, good staff, room was clean, good price....

From Check in to Check out we found the hotel comfortable, convenient and enjoyable. As a 30 yr old young couple we enjoyed the urban decor and spaciousness of the room - the bed was extremely comfortable and had fantastic much needed sleep.

TERRIBLE SERVICE FROM CHEKIN TO CHECK OUT. WERE NOT MADE AWARE THAT THERE WAS A NIGHTCLUB IN THE HOTEL THAT STAYED OPEN UNTIL 3 WHICH WOULD HAVE BEEN GREAT IF THE WINDOWS HAD ANY SORT OF SOUNDPROOFING. ENDED UP CHECKING OUT AT 5:30AM ONLY TO HAVE THE VALET BACK MY CAR UP ABOUT 10FT FROM THE CURB AND THEN DIDN'T EVEN HELP ME PUT MY LUGGAGE INTO THE TRUNK. […] NOT TO MENTION THE HUGE SCRATCH ON MY CAR THAT WAS FOUND WHEN I FINALLY GOT HOME THREE HOURS LATER. The hotel's night club was very loud and kept us awake until 3am. In fact, we were warned by the hotel staff when we checked in and they were correct!

We asked for a quiet room, which placed us far from the night club, but near the intersection of Clarke and Sherbrooke. The soundproofing being nonexistent, we hardly slept due to the sound of yelled conversations, traffic, squealing tires, sirens and horns as Halloween party-goers headed home at 2, 3, 4, even 5 in the morning. As we were changing […] for our night out, two hotel staff members opened the door and walked right in before noticing my husband almost naked in the middle of the room (fortunately I was out of view, as I was even less clothed than he). They apologized, explained that they were there to fix a problem, but the problem would not have occurred if they had simply knocked! We realized later, as we readied for bed, that the problem they were there to fix was a lamp that did not work and another that would not switch off! Staff was unhelpful and borderline rude at every point during the reservation and check-in. Our room was on top of a night club that was rocking beats till 3am both Friday and Saturday night. The room itself was fine.

It was wonderful! The staff was so helpful and accomodating. The hotel is so close to all the sights we really wanted to see and then some! Perfect location for walking everywhere! And of course, Koko Restaurant in the hotel was INCREDIBLE!!! The food was some of the best I've had...and the staff again were so polite and just a joy.

The Opus in Vancouver is great. So, we tried the one in Montreal. The staff are very good & friendly. The lobby is very nice, free Internet, drop off valet service is great. Room showed wear from carpet worn through, door handles not screwed in, and questionable stains on the curtains. Club music could be heard past 3am in the room. The room is a good size, nice modern decor and the bed was very comfortable.
