With getting in late because of the plane being delayed the 12 o'clock check out time is nice. The one extra hour makes big difference. I will be staying here again

Very good value for the type of service. Clean rooms, helpful staff and a free breakfast! The shuttle was not working the night of my arrival but the desk manager did not hesitate in paying the $15 for the fare.

My only problem was the hotel has no restaurant and all the nearby surrounding area restaurants are Asian (I am not a fan of Asian food) so I had to walk some distance.

Located at the heart of Richmond, with walking distance to restaurants and plenty of eateries. Quiet and clean. Will stay again if visiting Richmond in the future. Quality comparable to 4 star with a very reasonable rate.

The place was ok at best. Room was standard and average. It was when coming into the lobby that I smelled the Chlorine from the tiny pool just around the corner. So anytime you walked into the place or at breakfast you breathed in the aquatic center smell. I didn't like that part at all. Also no ATM in the lobby, no room service. Shuttle service to/from YVR Airport is extremely limited; 0600-2100. Beyond those hours you must take a taxi. The Business Center is under renovation, and the hotel was unwilling to provide alternate computer/printer access. Poor customer service in that regard. Room was clean and comfortable. The neighborhood offers some diverse dining options.

It was close to where I wanted to go, close to the wonderful transit system, the breakfast was tasty, and the service was great. The only thing I didn't like, which they have no control over, was the area. None of the businesses had signs in English. Everything was in Chinese, and I almost thought I was in China. My first choice of airport hotels for value. Good breakfast is always included. Not only is the property pet friendly but they do not charge additional fees for a pet stay! If you are arriving late however you will have to taxi it to the hotel and submit your receipt to the front desk as their shuttle does not run 24 hrs. Everything was great, except for the fact we arrived at the airport around 11pm. We waited for our "free shuttle" for a while before being tipped off by one of the other shuttle drivers about the direct hotel phone outside on the platform. I called La Quinta to a request a shuttle but they told me it was too late, no more shuttles that night. Very inconvenient […] as I then had to find a cab (minivan) that was large enough to fit my family and our luggage. Not so fun when it's late and you have kids. Of course, the taxi fee came out of my pocket. Had I known that there was no shuttle, I would have booked at another hotel. We had a comfortable night at this hotel. Enjoyed the pool and fitness centre. The complementary breakfast was quite good, too although there were few gluten-free items.

First time staying at the la Quinta Inn. Location is close to the heart of Richmond and walking distance to resturants and shopping. Very, very comfortable beds, and the rooms are larger than the standard rooms which was a nice surprise. Staff very cheerful and helpful. I booked here at the last minute. The price and facilities looked right according to hotels.com. I phoned the hotel to enquire about something, and they said that they were fully booked. However, I was able to book online without issue. I checked in early without any problem. The room was clean and comfortable, as were all of the hotels facilities (pool, […] hot tub, laundry, parking lot, etc). The continental breakfast was also impressive and the free airport shuttle was also a huge bonus. Overall, I was very happy with my stay and would not hesitate to reserve here again. The inclusion of a great self-serve breakfast, very clean comfortable rooms and complimentary shuttle made this a great value. Nice , comfortable, quiet room , Breakfast was more a continental than full breakfast .i.e no cooked option, Spa pool could be hotter, Staff are lovely , very helpful, Problem with bus and train stations being ten minute walk away and shopping in Richmond isn't that great. Free shuttle to airport very helpful.

A few things: The airport shuttle has limited hours. I arrived late (after the shuttle stopped operating) and spent $15 for cab ride to hotel. The TV didnt work, Im sure they would have fixed it but not worth dealing with it for a short stay. The breakfast buffet is the standard low-budget variety typical of the discount motel chains. When I called the hotel form the airport to inquire about their shuttle service I was advised that the shuttle bus only runs between 6AM and 9:30PM. The cab fare from YVR is $14+gratuity. When I got to my room I was positively surprised. The rooms are very basic but clean. The staff didn't seem especially friendly and were generally not very helpful. […] The free breakfast fell short in comparison to all complimentary buffets I have seen at other hotels. On the way home from a great vacation, we just wanted our own beds, but had to book a hotel as there were no same day connecting flights. La Quinta Inn made that overnight stay so relaxing, as the staff, especially Vikas went beyond the call of duty in making us feel welcome. This was the second time we stayed at La Quinta and it served us very well for an overnight before early departure from airport. Its central location is ideal for dining and last minute shopping - a short walk from/to Lansdowne Skytrain Station. The first time we had a room on the north side and it was very quiet - this time we had a room on the south […] side facing Alderbridge and there was traffic noise all night - no sirens or squealing tires - just steady traffic (some might consider it white noise!) Comfortable hotel close to the airport with a complimentary shuttle. However when we arrived at 9:45, the shuttle was not running and we had to take a cab. The complimentary breakfest is great, lots of choices, including make your own waffles.

Staff were courteous and friendly, Hotel provided breakfast offered a good selection of food and beverage. Pool and spa fit our needs Somewhat noisy due to location but to be expected if your adjacent to a main street and the airport. Good bang for the buck.

The hotel was in a convenient location for those who are looking to be near all the shopping centres in Richmond. The hotel pool was not large, but it still entertained our 3 and 5 yr olds. The parking stalls were tight, but there were just enough to accommodate everyone. (We stayed for one night in February) At first I was not overly impressed by the […] breakfast offered as it was mainly continental- bread, muffins, cereal. I arrived late and was still able to get picked up at the airport. The room was clean and was free of any odours, which was a pleasant surprise. The breakfast was adequate; would have liked to see some fruit. Over all a good place to stay

O.K. to stay but make sure your room is not next to the elavator. People alway talking loudly while waiting. There is a KTV there. People leaves at 2 and 3 in the morning. They talk so loud.

Wonderful staff - especially at the front desk. My husband and I were had a long wait between flights and decided to stay here for the night. The location meant we could walk to the local restaurants and Mall area. Hotel also provides a shuttle to and from the airport. Enjoyed our one night lay over there and would use this hotel again!
