"Not a good value."
I have stayed in many "budget" motels in my travels. This was by far the worst. Room was filthy, no tissue, no soap or shampoo and the dust/debris along the carpet edge made the carpet appear to have a gray border. Guests were in and out of the rooms all night with slamming doors and loud behaviour in the parking lot.

The hotel was clean, room comfortabe and small.. However the walls are really thin in this place so you could hear everything in rooms next door. With the fridge buzzing away, i didn't get much slleep!! I expected basic for the price but not so basic that there were no tea & coffee facilities in the room!! I wouldn't reccomend this motel if you've […] just had a long flight and need a good sleep. Service wes good and free wi fi included. Breafast included too (coffee & a pastry). The room was big. Lots of space for the kids to run around. The cleaning staff was great! Room was very clean.
Nice reception staff. Good price to stay in LA with a reasonable hotel facility if you only just need a nice bed and a bathroom.

This place is old but well kept. The shower was great. High pressure felt great. Staff was very nice no espn but they were very nice. Scary neighborhood at night, but come on...it's LA.

"fine for the price"
The hotel is quiet and the room seemed clean and comfortable. Good deal for the price. Direct buttons on the phone to front desk or housekeeping didn't work though.
The hotel was clean and the front desk service was excellent. The breakfast was adequate. We did not circulate at night but to a taxi to Hollywood boulevard. The taxi cost $15 which was reasonable. I think that the hotel is adequate for the monies we paid.

"Do NOT stay here!"
how should i begin, this hotel is infested with roaches and spiders. the room was ok but the bathroom was dirty. the fridge did not work, and neither did the A/C, and i did not want to open the window because of the noise outside. i also think there is bed bugs because my friend had some bites on his legs. we have stayed at so many other hotels in hollywood […] and for the price we paid we should have just stayed somewhere else. Nice little hotel off of Sunset. About a mile away from the tourist areas. The neighborhood isnt all that great - but they had a ton of cameras watching the parking lot - so we werent worried about our car at all. The room was clean and the bathrooms were clean as well. "fine for what we needed"
We were going to a concert at the Hollywood Bowl, so I wanted something close. All we needed it for was to sleep after, so it was ok. The room was gross though. There was stains on the walls and bed. It was also tiny. The front desk was kind and very helpful. The neighborhood, was not the best, but we felt safe in our room, (on the second floor).

I would not recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Los Angeles/Hollywood. The location was ideal due to bus service outside your door, and a subway station in walking distance. The problem comes in with the way the hoel was maintained. The room had a bad odor, and was not very clean. The hot water in the shower did not work very well, so taking a shower […] was not a pleasant experience. The staff was not very friendly, and it seemed as if I was inconvieniencing them when I wanted to check into the hotel. This is sad, because I am from this neighborhood originally, and I wanted to stay somewhere close to where I am familiar, but I did not know I was going to have this terrible experience. "worst hotel ever"
Walls where stained. smoke detector missing no coffee pot sheets had stains. Very dirty parking was tough. very little space to park. At check in i had to try 3 times to wake the guy behind the counter. The soda machine gave the wrong sodas. I would not stay here. I won't stay here again.
"Terrible stay"
We were here for 7 nights and completely regretted booking a stay for that long. We had to find another hotel to stay for the remainder of our trip! If you need WIFI, don't stay here. We needed internet for some business and was unable to connect EVER. The front desk was ok, they tried to be helpful but the internet connection was ever fixed for our […] entire duration there. I'm sure other guests had complained too. The towels are kind of dingy... looks dirty and doesn't dry you off at all. The room was large enough (we had 2 queens) and plenty of space but the floors were gross. Recommendation: bring flip flops/slippers. Lastly, if you're looking for a decent breakfast, don't count on it. The coffee was good but food always ran out after half an hour. Breakfast was 8-10am, don't bother going after 9am... WHEN YOU REQUEST A ROLLAWAY BED MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A RESERVATION ON THE GROUND LEVEL, OTHERWISE THE FRONTDESK MANAGER IS NOT ABLE TO GET THE BED ON THE SECOND FLOOR. DURING THE HOLE STAY, THE ROOM SERVICE TURNED OFF THE A/C. OVERALL, LOUD AT NIGHT TIME, NOT GOOD FOR CHILDREN.

Average priced motel and cheap in comparision to many in Hollywood street. Clean room but small bed. All aminities in the room. OK and safe neighbourhood and near by Metro redline (10 min walk). Overall, ok ok place to crash for a night.

The room with a jacuzzi was great. Came with a microwave and decent size mini refridgerator. The hotel staff was great, very personable and professional. Didn't hear noise from adjoining rooms.

"Good hotel, close to the main attraction"
This hotel I would say is really good, close to the walk of fame, just 10 min on the metro. The only thing is, that the breakfast, it´s just a kind of bun. There should be a bit more to choose from , like fruit or maybe some cereal.... Tho pool closes at 7 pm, I think it should be open a bit longer maybe until 8 or 9 pm..

Good value for a dollars spent. Compare to other prices in the hotels around we may have stayed with less "stars" in the rating but received a very good value. Well worth it.

The bathroom is so small. It's hard for you to take a comfortable shower. The bath towels are so awful. It's can not dry you up. I recommend you to bring your own towel if you choose to stay here. But it's very convenient to visit the attraction in Hollywood and Universal Studio. The price is pretty fair.

If you are going to the Greek Theater know that is not 1.3 mile from the venue as posted. It is 2.5 miles and the walk in a steep uphill half the way. Hotel was ok but needed to have someone look for an iron .They only had one for the whole facility Cab fairs were gouged. "Ok for a one night stay, but no more..."
The only reason I selected this hotel was because it was close to a consulate and I wanted to avoid the morning traffic on the highway. The room I was given smelled, the plywood by the sink was hanging and looked like it was about to fall off, and some of the towels, although washed, had stains on them. Also, although the hotel is located on Sunset […] Blvd. it is on the shady end of that strip, so don't let the name of the street fool you into thinking that this place is in a luxurious neighborhood. On the positive side, the bed was comfortable, the sheets and pillows were clean, and the shower had plenty of pressure. The rest of the room looked clean and I was able to get access to Wi-Fi via my portable video player. Also, the staff were very cordial and helpful.
