Christy, the manager, met our every need and accomodated our late arrival above and beyond. Worked with us on special arrangements for our adult son to stay in our room, good tourist info, great friendliness....and she speaks 8 languages so all written and spoken communicatiin is in your language Very easy access to the beach..walk across the street […] and enjoy free beach chairs and free shade huts. Breakfast good..meat, cheese, fruit, yogurt, toast, cream cheese, boiled eggs, cereal. All staff very friendly. Great view of beach from room 110 which is 2 nd floor. Lower floor not good view. Very nice hotel for a few nights stay. We arrived in Aruba 2 days before our Resort checkin and the MVC is the best small hotel on the island. Perfect for a few nights, not all the amenities of the larger resorts but CLEAN, CONVEINANT AND FRIENDLY STAFF.

Hotel was very reasonable, and the staff was friendly. It is very basic, not even shampoo in the bathroom, so bring your own. There is nothing to do at this hotel. It is just a clean, cheap place to sleep

Accommodation was pretty basic and the bed was so very hard. However the staff were lovely and made you feel at home and it was right across the street from a beautiful beach. Had breakfast once at $8.50 each. It was buffet style with cereal, yoghurt, some fruit and breads. It was adequate but had better ones elsewhere. Did not eat dinner but restaurant […] was often busy. Played tennis on a well kept court. Food in the Tulip is excellent. Lots of restaurants and grocery to walk to. For a 3 day stay on the way to Bonaire this is a perfect stop for enjoying beach and scuba. Did not need rental car. Beach across the street and scubadivemaster comes in a van. I would stay here again.

If your looking for a small clean room and great staff this is a good hotel. However, there are no facilities on site. The "pool" is a small hot tub and the beach is across the street. The hotel provides just the basics (they did not have shampoo etc.) The price was reasonable.

This hotel couldn't be located in a better area. the bus stop is right out front, and takes you all over for just $2.30 USD. Eagle Beach is clean, beautiful, and safe. There is also an ice cream truck and food truck that park at the beach and sell items. They both accept USD and are inexpensive (meal cost $6.00 USD). The hotel is close to the airport, […] and they call a cab for you which cost $22.00 USD. The Tulip restaurant is great, and accepts USD, the meals range from $8-$24. We were looking for a nice hotel that would allow us to do in Aruba what we wanted to do (stay on the beach and snorkel). This was not an all inclusive but so near the beach you do not need to bring shoes. If you do not want to rent a car the bus stop is litterally outside the hotel. The staff at MVC is awesome, great customer service. The hotel is small so the staff really gets to know you and the other patrons. Great location with the beach across the street and lots if restaurants nearby. The rooms and bathrooms are small but we didn't spend a lot of time in the room! Great value. We would stay here again.

The MVC Eagle Beach hotel looks significantly better than the pictures reveal. It is very compact but well laid out making you feel quite cozy and at home. It has a parking in the back if you rent a car. It is clean, functional, and the staff is just as friendly as the Aruba people in general. The beach is clean, close, and just right. You have to go to the beach to get a superb reception!!! They promised to fix this... The rooms are functional but small. The bathrooms are not laid out in the most convenient way. The ocean view is mostly obstructed for 90% of the rooms. The continental breakfast is too expensive compared to tasty lunch offers 10 minutes away by bus... In summary, the MVC Eagle Beach hotel is a perfect roof over one's head in Aruba. But for the enjoyment you will want to get and keep out absorbing the awesome experience of the "one happy island". What a great place. There are only 19 rooms so it's small, the people are friendly (shout out to Christie, the manager... so sweet). Right across the street from Eagle beach, the best beach in Aruba... bus line right out front which will take you downtown in about 10-12 minutes. The restaurant, The Tulip, is decent and reasonably priced. There is not […] a whole lot within walking distance but, the a short cab or bus ride up the road 1-2 miles will have you at the hotel area with lots of shops or go opposite direction to downtown and there is plenty to do. The beach is gorgeous and the rooms although a little small were furnished nicely with a big shower, comfy bed (king in my case) and frig. Only which it had a microwave. This hotel was great, especially if you are looking for a relatively inexpensive place to stay. The hotel is directly across the street from a beautiful beach. Loud music on the beach every night, local kids partying until 2 or 3 am. Fine if noise doesn't bother you. My husband slept fine, but the music kept me awake.

Clean, straight forward accommodations in good repair. The onsite restaurant, the Tulip is an excellent choice. We stayed with our 2 year old and ate at the restaurant both nights we stayed. The are is fairly convenient to other restaurants, casinos, grocery stores, the beach, and the airport. I am not one for the all-inclusive, so this was perfect for my twelve year old son and me. The hotel is directly across from Eagle Beach, it is quiet, the staff is super friendly, the restaurant food and service was good. It is close to (walking distance) resorts with gift shops and convenince stores and restaurants. You can walk forever on the beach […] toward the south, and could walk all the way to town, but there is a bus stop right outside the hotel as well. We just returned home after staying for two weeks at MVC Eagle Beach. The location is perfect, directly across the road from beautiful Eagle Beach. The attached restaurant, The Tulip, is a jewel with outstanding service and delicious food. The head waiter is a delight with impeccable manners and a wonderful personality. The hotel is beautifully landscaped […] with some of the friendliest staff members we've ever had the pleasure to be around---Christy, Sasha, and all of the support staff are wonderful people. We are better for having met them. Extras at the hotel include a very large parking lot for those of you who choose to use a rental car; a large tennis court; outdoor shower and restroom facilities for use as you come from the beach; beach chairs; bus stops a few steps from the entrance to the hotel. Stayed at MVC Dec 5-Dec12 2011. On the best beach in Aruba...you have to cross the street but that was no big deal. Rooms were nice, staff was excellent and the price was very reasonable. The hotel is fine if a little basic. The room was clean and the bed very comfortable. Overall service was good although our complaint about the broken hot tap in the bathroom was not dealt with in any way nor was the safe usable as it could not be locked. The big issue we had was the noise at night, the beach directly opposite attracts groups of people […] who play very loud music from 10pm as late as 4am this problem occurred weds thurs fri and sat nights. The hotel didnt seem perturbed at this issue and suggested we contact the security guard or call the police ourselves. One of Aruba's nicest places to stay while on the island. Located across the street from Eagle Beach, (the most beautiful beach on the island). Everyone on staff is friendly and helpful. Rooms are extremely comfortable and clean. The Tulip Restaurant serves a great Dutch style breakfast for a reasonable price, 2 steps from the hotel.

The MVC Eagle was a wonderful value and everything we expected. Eagle beach is beautiful and right acrossed the street. We looked into to several hotels in the area and this was exactly what we were looking for. For some who spends very little time in the room the extra spending money was nice to use towards the casinos and dinner. The room was small […] but extremely well maintained. The restaurant was very good and one of the best vaules of the week. Don't miss the french onion soup is was the best. Everyone is Aruba is friendly and the buses system was effiecient. If i had any complaint it would have been more time for vacation. If you are looking for a calm and quiet place to spend your days then Eagle beach is the place for you. Stayed in the hotel for four days and was pleasantly surprised. The room was comfortable and very clean. The stuff was also very friendly. Within the hotel premises there was also a restaurant with excellent food at reasonable prices. The wireless network was just an added bonus. Recommend!

The pool is extremely tiny...the size of a hot tub, but there is plenty of space on the most beautiful white sand beach I have ever been to. Some of the larger hotels/timeshare places were way over crowded on their beaches, but there was always plenty of room on the beach across from MVC.

If you'e looking for a clean, basic place right on beautiful Eagle Beach this is it. Extremely clean room with king-size bed, fridge and hair dryer but if you require more amenities such as in-room coffee or little bottles of shampoo, boxes of kleenex or room service you will not find them here. Every room has a small table with chairs outside the door […] so you can sit outside and enjoy the wonderful tropical weather. Dinner in the restaurant was very good. Staff was very friendly. Free wireless internet was appreciated. Within walking distance of other resorts that have shopping, etc. You can catch the bus into town or down to the high-rises, or call a taxi.
