This is fantastic value for money in am amazing location. One block behind all the action. Our room was huge! The staff were neither good nor bad, lots of parking and free basic breakfast. We would definitely stay here again.

Just fine for a visit to Hollywood. Nothing fancy, but location was ideal. Right in the heart of Hollywood where you could walk everywhere. Room was large and had the basic amenities. It is an older property, but we would stay again.

We stayed one night at the beginning of CA road trip. i guess u really do get what u pay for. this hotel was more like an apartment duplex that someone tried to turn into a hotel. the location was great for where we were going which was the surrounding areas clubs and bars, but the lowes right next to it was much better. this hotel was older then my grandma. the paint peeled, tv barely worked, beds had […] stains. it was gross all around. My biggest my complaint is the shower. The water pressure was abysmal and the temperature knob was broken (it spun freely without adjusting the temperature). Once we figured out the trick to warming the water, another room would flush/ turn on the faucet/ turn on their shower and the temperature would plummet or sky rocket. The rooms were obviously […] outdated, but not enough to ignore the budget price and proximity to the action of Hollywood Blvd. We needed to find a room in a hurry and decided on this one due to price. Its a great location and allot of security cameras, (a sense of comfort) your in the heart of Hollywood. The room was larger than anticipated, it could sleep at least 8 people, if needed. but for this one nights stay, it was just my mother and I. We stayed here, purely for it's location, as we were only staying in LA one night, I wanted to be close to most of the "touristy" locations. This hotel is in perfect location to the walk of fame, hollywood sign, kodak theatre etc. After reading reviews, and looking at photos, i was very hesistate to stay here, but I kept saying to myself it's only one […] night, and just to sleep. The hotel suprised me when we arrived. It was clean, and comfortable, with the exception of the bed, my husband and I were both Itchy most of the night, it must of been the linens or something. Everything else was fine, and exceeded my expectations that's for sure. I have read that the front desk hasn't been attended to, for upwards of an hour, when we arrived close to midnight, the front desk wasn't attended, and I thought Oh no, you're kidding! However, right away when we stepped up to the desk, a gentleman came out, and checked us in. As we had an afternoon flight, they were more than happy to hold our bags until we were ready to leave for the airport. I wouldn't stay here for a romantic getaway, it is convenient for it's location, and if you are looking for a place just to sleep, it's fine. Skaityti daugiau

Simply put you cannot beat the price and location of this hotel. Free Parking in Hollywood? Are you serious? If you want first class stay at the five star next door. Meanwhile I am not going to complain about the small stuff. This hotel was easy on my wallet and convenient to all of the Hollywood major sites. End of story.

Hotel room was not the cleanest. Hairs were found throughout. Shower barely had pressure. Only plus with this hotel was price and location.

This is a basic no frills hotel room, but in a great location for seeing Hollywood Blvd. The only major issue we had was that the heat did not work in our room the first night and it was a cold one. The nice man at the front desk gave us extra blankets and we were switched to a new room the next day. I do not recommend staying next to the office. I could hear the phone ringing on and off. The walls are pretty thin there. Otherwise, the rate is cheaper than other hotels.

Room was large but a little shabby. The location made up for everything! Less than a block's walk to the Hollywood Highland center and Dolby Threatre. All the Hollywood sites right there, as well as the Metro Rail station which took us to Universal City Walk within minutes. Enjoyed our stay very much.

Shower upstairs dripped through the ceiling, vending machine ate over $10 before spitting out laundry powder and we felt like we'd catch VD from walking barefoot on the carpet.

very bad. the hotel is too old / dirty. The breakfast is way simple, and the breakfast cafe room is so small. The wireless network is super slow, and only available in some places, but not at my room. I need to ask front desk to fix the TV and shower. Overall, the room size is OK, but all facilities / service are too bad.

I thought the hotel was very pleasant and quiet. It's one block from Hollywood and Highland, so the location is fantastic. the price was very reasonable for that area. the rooms were comfortable (except the pillows were like hard foam). I thought the rooms were a good size. the staff was very helpful and pleasant. I was mistaken in thinking all rooms […] had kitchenettes. They do not. I had a standard room. That was OK. There are several restaurants nearby, a McDonalds if you're on a budget and plenty others. The continental breakfast was adequate, something to get the day started. There was nothing I disliked about the hotel. It's an older hotel at a great price. Its not new like a Holiday Inn or Mariott. But if you don't mind, it's a good place to stay. Parking is in the back. You have to go through a back alley behind a gas station to get to the parking. The rooms are pretty big but everything in it is dark, old, and dingy. Cute on the outside (a Hollywood stars type mural on rear parking lot entrance. Awful on the inside. Problems from the minute we walked into room. Dead bolt missing, bed lamps didn't work, very old style wall heater didn't work (even after staff re-started pilot light), cheap style blinds didn't close (staff tried unsuccessfully to fix then left with […] no solution), tub/shower single faucet fixture was extremely hard to turn on. only after my husband pulled for several minutes did it finally open. Ok, the parking was free, we were walking distance to the Hollywood Bowl (albeit right next to a gas station), and free Internet. other than that, it was terrible. while I was at the check-in desk complaining about the heater, another guest (young man) made the same complaint. We got to check in at 2 (had to have two double beds rather than a King, but that was OK). It is a perfect location to Hollywood and Highland (right behind it). Beds were comfy and it was quiet. We didn't eat breakfast here - it looked like the usual bagel/muffin/cereal cold fare. We went to Starbucks at Hollywood and Highland instead.

This hotel is honestly a dump. All we could do is laugh about it. Where do I start: Carpet needs cleaning, needs new beds, tile floor needs repair in bathroom (was cracked all to pieces-dangerous), toilet leaned to the side (almost would fall off the thing-also dangerous) shower was extremely small (no shaving legs in this one) wall paper coming off […] walls, needs major paint. etc, etc, etc. Just really, really bad. The only good thing was LOCATION. We were there for a concert at the Hollywood Bowl and it was walking distance (10 min. walk) This was great, no fighting traffic or crowds for shuttle buses. Walked right outside the doors and you are at the kodak theater, chinese theater, walk of fame, ElCapitan, the shopping center. Cheap cab rides to Universal studios and down Sunset Strip to all the hot spots!! I would never stay here again. I'm not a picking person, but it definately needs some serious renovations. I don't like giving bad reviews but would hate for someone to pay for this hotel in advance and be stuck here like we were for 3 nights. One more good thing was the staff was very friendly. Great, quiet location in Hollywood in a cul-de-sac just behind the Kodak Theatre, so everywhere in central Hollywood is walkable. There's also a subway station outside the Kodak. The hotel itself is in a small older style building, so rooms are larger than typical modern structures. Rooms are very spaceous and comfortable, but the hotel has 'basic' […] feel with, for example, less toiletries than typically provided and almost an atmosphere of a hostel. I wasn't totally convinced about the level of cleanliness. Breakfast room is very small, so it's often necessary to take it back to your room - coffee, tea, juice; bagels; choice of two cereals and strangely, pieces of large muffin cut in two. The Liberty is almost identical to the Celebrity Hotel across the road, which I've also stayed in - I wonder if it's owned by the same people? As 90% of these reviews state, the location is excellent, the staff are great, but the hotel is a little run down and outdated. I guess I would add that the free breakfast is not great nor is the tiny dining room, and the wifi didn't reach our room so we had to go into the hallway to use it. the hotel is not the high class hotel, but the feeling you get is more like a home atmosphere, since having only abt 20rooms. the rooms are spacious with big bathroom and separate kitchen. the microwave is somehow missing, since they actually got lots of space in the big kitchen. some cups and plates would have been nice too, so u would be able to prepare […] some food for urself... but the simple breakfast, the parking and wifi are free. If you're looking for a affordable place to stay for one or two nights this is a good spot. Unfortunately the staff is not able to fix any maintenance issues so check in early. Will stay again if visiting Hollywod area.
