Daventry Court Hotel - Daventry

Just stayed overnight for wedding. Fairly typical business hotel.

Room was clean and large enough for two. At first we thought we had a great big double bed but it turned out to be two large singles pushed together which was disappointing. Pool and steam room etc were smallish but nice and a great extra for the price.

The rooms were clean and well maintained but could benefit form a fridge and bath robes. The facilities, grounds and spar was great. Food was basic and could do with improving re breakfast service rather than self service at least to get coffee tea or toast while sitting down rather than going back and forth. I've stayed in this hotel before in previous years. It's nice and clean and has a friendly staff. The food is good, if a bit pricey for my taste. There is pool and sauna and nice patio with tables. You'll definitely want a car if you stay as it's close to roads, and easy access to nearby towns, but it's not really near anything. I plan to stay there […] again when I'm in Daventry. The general cleanliness of the hotel was okay, but it generally looked dated and basic. The service on the whole was okay, but the restaurant was particularly slow and felt slightly unorganised? Hotel was good staff friendly, noise from other rooms transmitted a bit too much. But with some ear plugs this hotel was pretty good.

Hotel was very Corporate, Very busy day with work and travel, Reception seating was not comfortable needs to be a bit more customer friendly.Receptionist very friendly and helpful

Very quick simple check in with more than enough staff at reception, recommended that i book a table for the restuarant. Very friendly helpful staff

The shower pressure was weak, however we was only there for the night and so was not a major problem. The staff were very attentive, polite and helpful and the overall stay was very good.

Enjoyable. Pity allowing children to run around reception and bar area at 2200. Lakeside? There is a road in between. Pity grounds not made more pleasing. However off set by allowing pets!!

Nice clean hotel, Rooms quite a distance from reception but off good quality. Restaurant service, choice of food and quantity very poor. Breakfast great but if they say they open at 7am for buffet then it should be ready at 7am. Late as a result!

everything was excellent regarding quality, location and amenities of the hotel, the only thing that we were not really satisfied with was the size of the beds, myself and my husband are not the smallest of people, and the bed was too small for both of us to share, and my husband ended up sleeping on the floor between the 2 double beds, it would be […] better if you had a select amount of rooms available with king size beds but overall the experience was very enjoyable Skaityti daugiau

Staff were great, breakfast was one of the best we've had. Facilities excellent, particularly pool . But, not that easy to find, even with sat nav. Thanks for a very nice break.

Very pleasant stay. Comprehensive and varied breakfast menu. Used spa facilities - floor quite slippery and in adequate rails for exiting. Strange to have separate saunas within changing rooms and not in main spa area so didn't use.

Quiet, relaxed and peaceful stay. Good value for money. Good size room and comfortable. Good selection for breakfast and delighted to find a hotel that will serve breakfast at 7am on a Sunday (a working day for our our business).

Upgraded our room and it was very nice and comfortable. Big bed, robes and slippers and good sized bath and shower. Breakfast was buffet style, but everything was there. Quiet room, overall very nice indeed.

The hotel has just changed hands and needs some money spending on "tidying" it up. The staff were very attentive and the beds were comfortably.

Barcelo is an average 3 star motor hotel. OK for basic lodging. Only real frustration we had was with the extra charges. Breakfast was included in our rate, but because the restaurant did not open until 7 AM they needed to deliver the breakfast delivered to our room for which they wanted to charge us. We also had difficulty getting connected to the […] internet from our room and the only help was phone assistance from an outside vendor. There was a charge for internet usage and the hotel charged Pds 11 for the call to the technician! They also asked what newspaper we wanted to have delivered in the room, which was nice. However they ended up charging for the paper! Hotel was OK for basic lodging - but we really did not like being nickle dimed. Skaityti daugiau
