Our room opened out to a courtyard full of pine and palm trees. It was very refreshing and quiet! Staff and other guests were very friendly and the food court and pool were conveniently located. Our room was tidied every day of our 5 night stay, it was really convenient being able to take the busses to and from the parks and downtown Disney. The room was a bit smaller than I had expected but it accommodated me and my boyfriend just fine. We played some of the pool side games that were pretty fun and watched a movie by the pool under the stars. […] Extra bonus for road trippers: refrigerator in all rooms! For a family and wallet friendly visit, this is definitely the place. If you want to avoid kids: not the place for you. We didn't spend too much time in our room so it didnt matter too much to us. For the most part, the hotel was good. Nice, friendly, responsive staff and decent quality of the room, pool, and other hotel features. My main problem was the air conditioning. The first night the air went out, and it was so hot and stuffy. After maintence couldn't fix the air they wanted us to switch rooms (at 3am!). I asked for a fan, which was bought […] in, and at least made it tolerable. The next morning we were moved to a different room, so it was a hassel to repack everything and move. Again in the middle of the night the air conditioner stopped. However once maintence came they got it working and explained their new 'green' air conditioners. If they don't detect any movement, they don't come on, so when you are sleeping they don't come on, and the room becomes hot and stuffy fast. Not only that, but there is a clicking noise from when the air conditioner wants to turn on, due to the temp, but it can't because the other system is overriding it due to lack of movement. So the clicking is what wakes you up. I was woken up about every hour due to it, and then I'd get up and walk around and trigger the air and it'd cool it down...until I'd lay down and fall alseep and then the pattern would repeat. This was our first experience staying at a disney resort and to be honest, I'm not sure I would do so again. The room iself was not really any differnt than a room a an average hotel. Two double beds, table with two chairs, tv etc. It did contain a mini fridge, however, it didn't seem to be working and was not even the slightest bit cool on the inside. […] The front checkin area is extremely inconvenient, you are not permitted to park or leave you car anywhere in the vicinity of the front door, but must park in a designated area, go in and check in, then go back to your car and drive to whichever building you are assigned. There is NO parking that is close to the rooms. No matter where you park you will have quite a walk, and there ar eno luggage trolleys, so if you have a lot of bags you will either have to request assistance with your luggage or be prepared to make multiple long trips back and forth. The rooms also seem to be temperature contolled, our thermastat would not go down below a certain point and it seemed hot in the room. Both myself and my husband had difficulty sleeping because the room felt too warm. For the price that you pay to stay at a Disney resort it just doesn't seem to be worth it... Skaityti daugiau

I have stayed in many of the disney hotels and have never had a problem with any of them. I can't say enough about the staff. They are always helpful and friendly. Disney hotels are clean and well maintained. The pool at this hotel was very nice.

This is a good hotel to use when visiting Disney parks with kids. My granddaughter loved it. The only negative is not having a coffee maker in the room which I read about in advance.

The shuttle service to and from the airport and to Disney parks was great, very convenient. Very good place for families, but if you are not on a family vacation with children I would recommend staying somewhere like the Coronado Springs Resort, as the Allstar Resort is very catered to children. Great service, the staff at the front desk can help you […] with your flight check-ins and purchases of park tickets. The shower was not clean upon arrival. I did clean it and then noticed it was not cleaned the second day, so I complained and had a spotless room for one day. Then, same old thing. I was not impressed at all with the concierge services either. We wanted some guidance on things to do and they just were not helpful. Plan in advance and do not count on […] them to be helpful (they pretty much are just there to take your money for the things you have planned to do). I do have to say that management seemed to care about my issues, but as I said, nothing really changed for more than a day. This could be a great place, yes, considered a value resort, but it was still 186 a night and that is not "cheap," so it should be clean and the staff should be more attentive to the customers. very fun stay. very close to all Disney parks and downtown Disney as well. Lots of stuff to explore and check out on the Hotel grounds. we stayed in the Dalmatians building, were there are Two HUGE statues of Purdy and Pongo from 101 Dalmatians. I stayed for 3 nights along with my wife and 4 year old son, we thorougly enjoyed the stay. Disney resorts provide complimentary shuttle(magical express) from Orlando airport to the resort which is nice, well the catch is when you book through Hotels.com, you have to call Disney magical express separately and confirm it(they ask for the reservation […] number and you may not have it, since you only have the Hotels.com confirmation number, you have to call Hotels.com customer service and get the reservation number). Apart from this minor inconvenience, the stay as such was great. There is a food court in the resort, 2 swimming pools and shuttles to disney parks. Pros - The food in the food court was very good and there was a good variety. The bus transportation service was very convenient and timely. Grounds were pretty and kept up well. The grandson loved the arcade. Cons - overall size of room was small - bathroom was small -- there was no coffee pot in the room - towels were very thin Main con --There […] were a few large groups of 15 year old girls from Argentina with very little supervision. They emerged by the 100s into the resort and food court and took over. They even sat on the floor outside the food court where they ate and had their trays all over. You literally had to walk over people and trays. THey seemed to go into the food area at once. They needed to be put in smaller groups and given times to go to the food court. 100s coming in at a time made it impossible for other guests to get food. They sat on the floor in the store making it hard on the other customers to get around. THey were rude and did not even try to move for anyone. THey were constantly clapping and cheering something and this was very unnerving at times. It was also a little uncomfortable having my young grandson looking at 15 year old girls in their thong bathing suits - asking "grandma why are their bottoms out?" Isnt this a family resort. The only way I would go back to this hotel is if I was sure there would be no large group of teenagers. We had the most pleasant check-in experience I have had in a long time at many different hotels that I have visited. We didn't feel like just another guest - great attention was paid to us and the fact we had a 5yr old with us for a 1st visit and birthday celebration. The room was convenient for us with a child. There was a little bit of disappointment […] from the 5yr old that towels in the shape of Mickey were only there on the 1st day. Cafeteria was not as clean as it should be. For the price and location, along with the bus service, we were happy. It has been updated since our last visit and was much nicer. We did have to walk to buy a coffee in the morning but otherwise the kids loved the pool area and the Disney experience . I think if Disney continues to maintain their properties, we will continue to bring the kids!

The Disney All-Star Movies Resort was perfect for our two day stay! Check-in was a breeze since I had done online check-in, and my 2 year old was thrilled with the balloon she received and with the cast members calling her princess! Our room and grounds were very clean, and our room was plenty big for our family of 3. The room comes standard with a […] mini fridge and iron that hotels.com said was on-request. We took our own milk, drinks, and cereal to cut down on breakfast costs. We could hear some noise from other rooms like showers and toilets flushing, but it wasn't overly annoying. We didn't eat at the food court, so I can't comment on the food, but it was a big area. The grounds were very nice and the character statues were fun for my daughter. The pool areas were nice also. Check in was pleasant. Staff seemed a little confused since he had only been there one month. Food service at hotel and around ESPN was inefficient and staff was rude. They would cut in between people waiting in line without a simple 'excuse me' or any other greeting. The food truck at ESPN were inefficient as well. All food experiences were unprofessional, […] and totally inefficient. We stood in line for 30 minutes at the ice cream with only 2 people in front of us. Set-up of food areas could be corrected to minimize wait times and speed up the order process. Example: For a milkshake, the staff gets a scoop, walks to ice cream cooler, then goes to back of area for fridge to retrieve milk, then to opposite side of work area to get a metal cup, then around to other side of area for the mixer. After mixing is complete they walk to other side to get customer cup, and place lid and straw in it. Too much time walking around and not getting anything accomplished. Meanwhile the customer waits and waits and waits. Food trucks at ESPN had a limited number of menu options and staff seemed surprised when you ordered one of the them. Orders got mixed up in ESPN for the pic up window. Staff walking back and forth, to and from area behind closed door with one order while 6 people wait. Every food venue I visited could be improved by better restaurant management. Same thing goes on in each of the ALL-STAR hotels on Disney. Yikes! There was no way to escape it while there. We knew this was Disney's "budget" tier of hotels. Rooms are very small. Staff was pleasent and willing to help. Disappointed that the in-room refrigerator was grimy. Towels are remincent of High School gym towels, small and thin. The size of the complex makes it confusing to find your way. Some of the rooms are in the center of the complex making it […] a bit of a treck from the parking lots. Food at the food court was better than expected, fresh and a good selection, overpriced, but it is Disney so that was expected. I don't believe it was a good value for the $ paid. One has to keep in mind that everyone will have a different experience when staying at any resort. I stayed at the All-Star Movies Resort for 9 Days and 8 Nights. I have gone to Orlando many times, but this was the first time I was going to travel with a friend and my sister (usually the whole family goes), I decided to go with a Disney "value" resort, […] since we wanted to stay in a good hotel, without having to pay too much, since most of the day we would be spending it in the theme parks, it didn't really matter to us. PROS: -Not very expensive. -Good location (it's closest to the Animal Kingdom). -Free shuttle from the Airport to the Resort, and vice versa. -Free transportation to the 4 theme parks, the 2 water parks, and downtown Disney. -Good rooms (more comfortable than expected). -The Disney resort refillable mug (Only works at the HOTEL, not in the theme parks. Costs about $15.49, as of January 2013.) -With certain Airlines, you can Check-in with the airline at the resort, and they'll even check-in your luggage. CONS: -Staff (mostly) not very friendly, most people seemed to be in a bad mood, but it wasn't the case a 100% of the time, but most were a bit rude. -Although the "bus" between the parks isn't shared with the other All-star resorts, they do share the Downtown Disney bus, and at night, to return to the hotel from the downtown disney area it might get extremely full.
