I liked the convenient location, but the room was not comfortable. No privacy with curtains open; dark as a tomb with them closed. Only one luggage rack. Ironing board but no iron. Difficult to get around bed to closet because it was so close to the wall.

There was no place to hang clothes. Not necessary to have a closet but just a rod would do. The breakfast was not good.

Hotel is outdated and needs significant capital improvements. The room was not clean. A sticky mass left of the vanity was never cleaned up during my stay. The continental breakfast consisted of bad coffee, toast and jam, and packaged muffins. The muffins were OK. I would not stay in this place again.

My husband and I needed a night away from everyone. So The GOOD - The room was clean and the bed was fairly comfy. No one disturbed us the whole night. The staff was very nice when we checked in and out. The BAD - is that I was charged twice for one room for one night. And then was told it would take almost a month for the refund.

The heat was not on in the room and it took nearly 3 hours to warm up.

They should call their free continental breakfast a no food snack.

Place was perfect for overnight stay - bed and shower. Close to public transportation, library, places to eat (joe Browns excellent breakfast place).

I would not go back. But nothing really awful happened.

the room is clean and tidy. parking is spacious. however, there is a rowdy bar across the street. there are some drunk people hanging out nearby as well. it's kind of frightening at night.

Cheap but comfortable and clean enough. Dated building but you can't beat it for the price!

I had called a few days before my reservation to ask a question, and the woman asked my name, and when I had given her the wrong last name, she said "Your name isn't on here" and hung up. She also could hardly speak English. I had called a week before at three in the morning and the SAME woman was there. When we arrived she had very poor service, was […] very rude, and was yelling at her daughter ( i assume) for being polite and actually having good service. When we'd asked for an extra pillow, she said the laundromat is closed and she doesn't want to get another one out. The room was nice and clean, and up to standards, but the woman was so rude. But that was the best I can say. The neighborhood was a little frightening with a bar on one side and street people camped out overnight on the other. If you want a simple overnight stay and have a pet, this place is acceptable, but that's about all.

If you just want a place to lay your head for the night with no frills, this is the place. I would not spend more than one night there

I got in late at night and left fairly early the next day, so I didn't send much time in room except to SLEEP! The room was totally fine and the area was quiet enough for me to just crash. There was a bog ol' heater that worked just fine (because it was freezing February), but I had to shut off the heater after a few minutes because it was extremely […] loud. But that was really no big deal because I prefer to slee in the cold. I also assumed there would be more for "breakfast," but it was only toast and a muffin and juice. One of the reasons I chose that hotel instead of others was because breakfast was listed. But again, this didn't matter a whole lot because I had to check out and leave fairly quickly for a wedding. it was very unclean and smelled. there was suppose to have a continental breakfast and there wasn't. the stuff there I wouldn't have fed to my dog. We were very unsatisfied. the only good thing was that it was close to where we had to be in the morning.

I booked a hotel room for two nights. The room was a no-frills room, but had a fridge and hair drier. Overall, my stay was fine. The one point I am still upset about is the early closing of the laundry facilities. I needed to wash clothes at 7:10pm on a Monday night--but the front desk stated that the laundry closed at 8pm--thus I could not do my laundry. […] The hotel guide in my room stated the laundry facilities were open until 10pm. We had a2 great rooms. They could have been cleaned better. We had a big patio. And the the free conn. breakfast wasn't that great...prepackaged mini muffins and bread, coffee or juice. But over all we did have a good time there.

I thought that the motel office smelled and that the room wasn't cleaned very well. I found snot on the wall in bathroom.the bed was made only with bottom sheets.

There were afro hairs all over the walls and the ceiling in the bathroom.

The hotel wasn't horrible, but it wouldn't be my first choice. The Econo Lodge is just that... Econo. I had limited interaction with the staff (mostly because I avoided the smelly office), but they seemed nice enough. The room had an odd layout, and could probably have used some better cleaning. This hotel was by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed in (or attempted to stay in). There were no non-smoking rooms so we settled for the smoking room. The room stunk so badly that at 2:30 in the morning we decided to make the drive home. We had to wash all of our clothing (even those that were not worn) to get the smell out. The room was filthy […] as well. We took a taxi out for the evening and the driver told us that the hotel was known for Meth and prostitution. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone!
