I was in room 115 which was at the back away from road so I thought great, a nice quiet sleep. Unfortunately this room is on the corner beside 3 parking spots and right beside the largest window on the outside was a monster light that kept the room very very bright all night. For the price it's a good deal, it's very inexpensive, convenient, and neat and clean. On the other hand, it's a very old hotel, the rooms could use some updating, there are signs of wear and tear on the furniture and the sound proofing is poor, to the point that I could hear muffled conversations from people in the adjoining room. Just there for one night. No continental breakfast. Parking lot was sloped and stairway to front porch was precipitous.

Having not stayed in a motor inn in years, I wasn't sure what to expect, but was very pleased with the Bennington Motor inn. It was very clean, room was quiet and the bed was very comfortable. Although the decor was a bit floral, the room itself was a nice size and convienent to the main street restaurants and shoppes. Would stay again.

Hot water and water pressure could be better, took about 5 minutes to get above luke warm. A/C unit kept the room cool, cable tv, fridge and micro. Overall, a place to stay for the night with no major complaints.

I was simply looking for a sleepable bed the night before a bike race. The room was tidy, comfortable, clean and no weird motel smells. The brass bed made a ringing sound (a loose part), and a strategically placed pillow took care of that. Wifi was weak but worked for most sites. I had a hard time using mapquest, though, assuming the wifi was the issue. […] No frills, but no complaints. Room was supposed to be a non-smoking room We even called before to make sure it was a non smoking room..but upon laying our heads down go to sleep it was apparent that someone who had stayed in this room previously had smoked. The room was made up to appear clean, fresh bedding, towels, vaccumed etc.. I believe the smoke smell was imbedded in the mattresses..Both […] my children have asthma, needless to stay the smell aggravated their condition...My husband went to the front desk but they were unhelpful and unsympathetic. Very dated property with a strange somewhat moldy odor. The beds were hard and the pillows almost non existent. The wireless internet must have been out while we were there or it is an extremely weak signal. We couldn't connect our devices. This motel is the reason we usually stay in a B & B when in Bennington.

Small but clean room, beds were not too comfortable, pillows less so. Biggest problem was the bright porch light that remains on all night, shining through the blinds, you can' tell if it's night or day out.

I was looking for a clean, inexpensive motel near the heart of Bennington, I found it here.

don't stay here. Stay at the Paradise Inn directly behind the Bennington Motor Inn. The Motor Inn bills themselves as "pet friendly." They only have two dog friendly rooms-one on the first level and one on the second. It was very difficult for my senior dog to climb the stairs to the second level. The inn keeper did not honor my request for the first-level […] room even though I had called ahead and even though that room was NOT occupied for the one night that we stayed there. Clean,comfortable motel within walking distance to downtown. Rooms strive for a country inn look but don't quite make it ,although they are nicely decorated. I would recommend this motel to others.

Everything was ok, but onl;y at the level you would expect from a hotel like this. The hotel and decor are quite old, as are the fixtures and fitting in the room. I loved this hotel. The rooms charmingly decorated with great care to keep to a colour scheme, right down to the sugar container. The motel is on the main road through Bennington and within easy walking distance of the centre but with easy access to all surrounding attraction both within Bennington and beyond. The hotel is right off the highway within easy travel to anywhere in Bennington. The room was clean and comfortable. The rate was reasonable. I would stay there again.

The room in this small independent was EXTREMELY clean, neat , and well-maintained - in excellent condition, SO much better than in the chains where we've stayed! Location was very convenient to everything in Bennington.

Very convenient and inexpensive. We just stopped for the night to break up a long road trip but found it quite pleasant. It was quiet, clean, and warm.
