Quite close to the freeway and the Bell County Expo Center. The freeway noise was well controlled, not bothersome. Since we were not attending the event going on at the Expo Center, the traffic around the center was a small bother. Very clean hotel located 6 miles from our destination of Salado. Also, right next door to the Expo Center. One of the cleanest hotels I've stayed in in a long time. On Sunday morning at 9:30 AM, I was awakened by housekeeping - quite a shock when I didn't get in the night before until 2:00 AM. I was quite "put out" that they would attempt to come in the room that early on a Sunday morning. The walls and flooring in the bathroom were cracked, most likely due to a faulty foundation. They had more canine than human guests on the night we stayed because of an agility trial event that was going on next door at the convention center.
