Key didn't work when we got there. Had to go back twice to get them to get it to work. First thing we did was lift up the mattresses to make sure there weren't any bed bugs (there weren't) but the condition of the room had us question it immediately. You get what you pay for. I was looking for a cheap room and got it. Breakfast was decent. Family run. Not enough hands maybe.

Although the hotel had no amenities (not even an elevator), the rooms were large and the hotel was close to Williams College. The pillows were great! Must have purchased new ones based on reviews that we had read prior to our trip.

Our room was supposed to be non-smoking, but it smelled horribly like smoke.

Hotel is what it is for the price but had a weird smell.

The mattresses were incredibly uncomfortable. The pillows were flat and much overused. The room was clean but needs updating badly. Towels were the size of hand towels and threadbare. The price was inexpensive, but still not worth it.

The deadbolt would not work as the bolt did not line up correctly. This room was not close to the picture shown. The heat worked fine but whenever someone entered or left their room you were aware of it. Kids running on the upstairs porch sounded like a herd of elephants. But at night I did get a good nights sleep. I checked in after noon and the parking […] lot was only partially cleared of snow. Parking near my room was still covered with snow so I had to stand and walk in 8 inches of it to unload the car and get to the room. They finished clearing the lot just as darkness set in. The location is perfect to get to the museums and restaurants. The room was spacious, but not thoroughly cleaned. Staff was friendly but there was nothing exceptional about the service or amenities. It is what it is... A place to sleep.

I really liked the office staff, they were very helpful. When I was packing up to leave though, a man on the clean up crew yelled at me to checkout when I was going back to check for any personal items the kids and I might have left behind. My son goes to Williams and we've stayed in every hotel, motel, and inn; from high to low. HoJo in Williamstown is a family-run franchise - friendly, clean, and inexpensive. Go for it!

This hotel is similar to most of the hotels in Williamstown. Old school motel rooms. The nice thing about this one is that we stayed in a separate building which was much quieter than most of the rooms we have stayed in in Williamstown. The bathroom had also been updated. The staff welcomed us and went out of their way to accomodate our needs. They gave us directions extensively. They were friendly . They were always on duty and available. They prepared a great breakfast. They were flexible about chedck in and parking was good and the place was homey.

Quite hrs are not enforced. Some guests are really noisy till midnight.

Was great - especially for the price. I had NO Complaints. (Oh, just one little one - I never received my wake-up call which I requested the night before). Other than that, everything was just fine. Highly recommend.

Room was clean and functional. Breakfast bar was well tended with usual assortment of Continental Breakfast items. Nice lady at reception showed me where to park my motorcycale. We got the so-called suite because it had a refrigerator and microwave. However, it's layout was poor and not a real suite. Plus no table or desk to work at. Definitely overpriced for the value.

Nothing fancy, but it provided spacious rooms and comfortable beds. I saw the owners' little boy peeking out of the family's apartment, which was kind of cute!

For a one night stay, this hotel is just fine. The room was largely comfortable and quiet, however, the beds had square sleeping pillows that were very hard. (I would bring my own pillows next time.) This is a low rise, "motel." It is not a hotel. The bathroom floor was so dirty that I put towels on the floor to reach the sink, toilet, shower. I am would not sit in the arm chairs, the fabric also looked dirty. The room was very outdated. The pillows were a weird size (not bed pillows). Staff were fine.

If you want to go to the Berkshires on a popular summer weekend then you already know that things are not stacked in your favor. The hotels often have elevated prices and three-night minimums with no refund. From that standpoint, this worked well for us. We stayed for two nights and could cancel with 48 hours notice. The property is old, but kept well. The best feature is its employees. Everybody is extremely nice and accommodating. They all had a smile always and were ready to help, answer questions, etc. This is a limited service hotel, but the continental breakfast was nice and plenty. The housekeeping department can use some training as they really did not do […] a good job. Pleasant people, perfectly adequate room. Didn't partake of the free breakfast or use the pool; no time for either - tho the pool looked very clean and inviting!

The room was nice and roomy. Though the facility is aging and a little run down, it certainly was acceptable for a few nights while visiting my family. It is centrally located between North Adams and Williamstown, which is convenient and the staff was very nice. The rates were very reasonable. It was a good stay.

Very noisy neighbors so could not sleep well. Great trouble in understanding the Indian Engilish but very nice staff.

Online check in was a breeze! Keys with room number waiting for me on a rack next to the desk. Nice and quick. Check out just as easy. Staff very friendly. Worked perfect for touring Yale University. Lots of dining nearby and not crowded on the weeknights in the summer. Easy in and out with directions provided.

The hotel is perfect for its price. The amenities in the room were basic but clean and in good condition. The rooms were big and comfortable.
