The hotel was nice - it took a while to find a taxi. There were some restaurants to dine, but not a very good variety. There is no night life here. If originating from Marseille Centre port - the map is confusing and very few knew of the hotel for directions. The view is nice with a small town feel.

This hotel is little far the most nearly station of metro "Rond point Prado". But, it was very confortable and had a good veu. I reccomend you this hotel !

I stayed only one night on business but it was a great experience, the staff which make or break a hotel were without doubt excellent, they all spoke good english, they were all very polite and incredibly helpful. the rooms were very good quality and the bed and bedding excellent, the temperature was also good and the air conditioning very quiet and […] controlable. I ate dinner with a client in the restaurant and the food was good, nouveau cuisine so very tasty without being too filling, good wine and the matre d' very proffesional. Nice wine list. There was an outside pool and a spa but I did not get to try these. The outside patio is a nice place to sit in the afternoon and watch the sun set. the hotel is not by the sea and there is not a great deal immediately outside the hotel, but for my use this was not relevent. Very nice hotel, clean and bright. The rooms are spacious, the pool is wonderful, the fitness facility is good. The location is not great it is a bit of a hike to get to restaurants, the hotel restaurant is mediocre and the night that we were going to have dinner there they had a very limited menu.

My husband and I stayed at the Hotel Massalia three years ago and liked it a great deal. We thought the location was great. So close to the beach and a short drive to Marseille yet far away to enjoy Pointe Rouge as well. We wanted to stay there again but had trouble remembering the name of the hotel. We searched for days on line but could not recognize […] the hotel not even with good earth. We then booked a hotel on line and lo and behold to our suprise, when we arrived in Marseille last Wednesday evening, it was indeed the SAME hotel that we had stayed in three years before. The photo on line is of the back of the hotel and the swimming pool, so this is why we failed to recogize it. There was a big party going on with lots of young people dancing and enjoying the bar but we did not mind. Our room was lovely and we had a great view of the sea. The bedding and mattress was very comfortable. One problem, the bath was extremely slippery. I fell the first day and nearly broke my arm and leg. I have a big bruise on my arm and I have had pain for the past five days. I should have reported this to the front desk but did not. I think there should be pads on the bath which is very deep and not so easy to get into and out of. The staff were very helpful and courteous. Breakfast was much too expensive but there were nice cafes and tea houses in the area. The pool and sauna were pleasant and clean and the staff there were quite friendly and helpful. This Hotel is in a fabulous location however, you must arrange transfers or possibly car hire before you arrive. The cost of Taxis is expensive to the point that the locals won't use them at a lesser rate. There are few taxis around because of this and as the resort is predominantly French tourists are easy to spot. The resort is faces Borely Park […] race course, is 5 minutes walk (max) to Borley Beach and the local shops are very helpful and forgiving. The stay was an absolute pleasure, I felt totally relaxed and rejuventated afterwards and was reluctant to leave. Eventhough I don't recommend this hotel, there is nothing wrong with it. I don't feel it's a tourist friendly hotel, based on location, the physical facility and the staff orientation. I felt it was a little expensive for the quality of the hotel. If I were holding a business meeting in Marseille, I might pick this hotel.

Emplacement exceptionnel avec vue superbe sur les Iles du Frioul. Bel hôtel à la décoration soignée, très bonne literie, restauration de qualité, belle piscine chauffée. Point faible pour un 4 étoiles : pas de service de chambre le soir (préparation du lit), oubli des serviettes de bain lors du ménage, erreurs dans les commandes du petit déjeuner, ce […] qui malgré tout n'a en rien altéré la satisfaction de notre séjour. Hotel bien situe, magnifique hotel moderne, service impecable, chambre propre. Le seul gros point negatif qui est quand meme important c est le spa qui est vraiment sale, une odeur desagreable est bien presente...bref le spa c est 0/10

Déçu par le jacuzzi qui avait une odeur très désagréable, on ma refusé l' accès au restaurant à 21h, la chambre manque de modernité, par contre bien isolé et propre.

Par exemple, le tarif du petit déjeuner double par rapport au prix affiché dans l'ascenseur s'il n'est pas réservé à l'avance. Ce type de surprise n'arrive pas dans les hôtels de grandes chaînes. Un autre point : ayant réservé, nous avions déjà payé notre chambre 2 lits. Cependant, en arrivant à l'hôtel la veille, un collègue a proposé de nous offrir […] la chambre plus nos deux petits déjeuners. Sa carte a été débité immédiatement du montant de la nuit plus un petit déjeuner (compté au tarif double mentionné précédemment). Le lendemain, ils nous ont demandé à payer les petits déjeuners à la caisse. Après 20 minutes, ils nous ont finalement remboursé le différentiel avec néanmoins un petit déjeuner de notre poche. Etant donné l'erreur qu'ils avaient commise et la confusion que cela a généré, ils auraient pu / pourraient faire un geste commercial quelconque. Skaityti daugiau

Le plaisir a commencé par un très bon accueil, la réceptionniste nous annonçant que le hasard nous avait désignés pour être surclassés et bénéficier ainsi d'une vue mer. Le personnel ètait très agreable,la nourriture très bien et le cadre parfaitement reposant.

Hôtel superbe et propre avec très bonnes prestations. Personnel adorable. Proche mer et hippodrome. Espace Spa fitness très sympa... Seul bémol pour moi le samedi soir l'hôtel reçoit un orchestre qui joue jusqu'à 3 h du mat et la chambre n'est pas suffisamment insonorisée. C'était bcp trop bruyant impossible de dormir... Wir waren nur für einen kurzen Wochenendaufenthalt da. Es war Anfang Mai - also außerhalb der Saison und wir ergatterten eines der Meeresblick-Zimmer zum Schnäppchenpreis. Das Hotel liegt außerhalb der Stadt, was wir aber eher als angenehm empfanden. Der "Meerblick" ist OK aber nicht optimal, denn man hat zunächst mal eine Pferderennbahn mit kombinierten […] Golfplatz und eine Betontribüne gegenüber. Dennoch kann man aber vom Meer genug sehen und wir erlebten einen wunderbaren Sonnenuntergang. Das Hotel ist sehr neu und dementsprechend befindet sich alles in einem sehr guten Zustand. Einziges Minus ist die Konstruktion der Dusche, die man eigentlich nur benutzen kann, wenn man eine Totalüberschwemmung des Bades in Kauf nimmt. Das Personal war freundlich, hilfsbereit und nahm sich für all unsere Belange Zeit! In der Hauptsaison würden wir sicher nicht hierher kommen - in der Nebensaison aber jederzeit gerne wieder. Chambre achetée à un prix très raisonable pour un standing pareil! Déco moderne, SPA, piscine à 27°C. Le parc Borély est juste à côté et pour améliorer la balade l'hôtel prête des vélos. Le top! Bon cadre, relativement facile d'accès par les transports en commun. Le personnel très acceuillant et chaleureux. Le coin SPA et piscine est déstressant. Le seul "hic" la pression et la température de l'eau chaude laissent à désirer, sachant qu'on avait un enfant en bas age...

Mais déçue par rapport à notre dernier séjour, quelques semaines auparavant!
