Was not satisfied with the staff. Inaproprate questions from the staff that took us to the room. The front desk staff was rude especially the young lady that checked us in and out. Didn't like the parking situation. Very inconvient the room was great however this was not.

After a long business day, The Ellis provided the best room service ever, the food was great. Worth every penny....

Friendly staff, comfy bed, quiet room, overall great experience. Would definitely stay here again. Valet parking is $25 per day but there is a parking garage very close.

The Ellis hotel is in a great location near everything. The rooms are beautiful and very clean. The staff are friendly and very helpful. I highly reccomend it.

From the moment we arrived hotel staff was very helpful and friendly. From vallet to front desk to restaurant bartender. We were very pleased. However, the rooms are not really as pictured. They are very small, almost like something you would expect in NYC (closet sized). Our particular room had a very strong sour smell in the bathroom. On the right […] side of the bed was a piece of red chewing gum smeared and smashed into the carpet. Also, i thought i might put a robe on but when i open the closet and looked at them, they were several long black curled hairs on them as if they had not been washed. Not impressed with the rooms at all. I will say though, for the price, service and location, i would probably book here again (making sure with front desk that room is very clean before check in) Skaityti daugiau

Staff was awesome .had a wonderful experience .biggest complaint was rediculous wait to get my car back from valet parking upon check out ( way longer than 15 min ) and my credit card was overcharged at the bar 153 $ and it took almost a week to get it back

The rooms are a bit small, but overall a good hotel downtown. Walking distance to restaurants, CNN, the aquarium and The world of Coca Cola.

We had a nice time in the city, but the room was really small and you could hear everything going on in the hallway and in the next room. Our lock must have been messed up because the door just clicking like it was being unlocked the whole time we were there. We did complain to the front desk in which they said they would get maintenance to look into […] it,but that never happened. At least not while we were there. I had a wonderful stay at the Ellis Hotel. I travel a lot for work and stay at a lot of botique hotels, but this one takes the cake. The service was absolutely outstanding- the staff are so friendly and went out of there way to help my stay more enjoyable. The hotel is a nice small hotel with a lot of classy perks (valet, etc). However, the staff was a bit displeasing to me. They attempted house keepeing and I stated to come back. Well needless to say my room was not cleaned at all. That really bothered me. This hotel has a great location. The room was a bit small, but not inconvient. Hope this helps […] someone.... I was very happy with my Ellis stay -- the room was well appointed and clean, and the staff was very helpful. The outside noise was a little high at times, but overnight it quieted down to a reasonable level. I'm staying there again on my next trip.

Ny girlfriend and I stayed in the Ellis for valentines day as a romatic one night get away we live in atlanta. We had a romatic dinner at the resturant in the hotel then later went to our room after dinner! Great dinner great room great service will be guest at the ellis very soon

Overall, our stay at the Ellis was great. The only slight glitch was the valet parking--it took between 10-15 minutes to get our car each time, and one time we had to ask for the car twice before it was gotten. The room was very comfortable and affordable.

Great location, staff was extremely nice and helpful, very clean, and great free breakfast. Honestly have no complaints, except that valet parking was a little pricey. Will go back again next time I'm in Atlanta.

I spent four nights there recently and ALL staff were very friendly and helpful. The only fault that I found was the fact that the furniture and walls in the room needed to be dusted.

We love e\Europe and The Ellis Inn has that feel. The employees and the service was fab. We felt like it was a weekend in another country, very modern. We will be back!

I was afraid to stay here after reading the reviews but I must say the Ellis hotel exceeded what I expected ! The staff was great the breakfast was wonderful and location was the best for what I needed.

The room was small, but clean. There was a great deal of noise from the hallway (primarily the ice machine). We asked to be moved and the staff declined, even though they had already advised that they were at only 50% occupancy. We asked for recommendations for restaurants, and the front desk couldn't tell us what was in the area with any specificity. […] The essentially just said, "Walk about two blocks north and you will see all the restaurants." When we mentioned specific restaurant names (we had done some research), they knew nothing about them. After dinner, we came back to the hotel bar, and the staff made us feel very unwelcome. It was 9:45 on Saturday night, and they advised that they were closing at 10:00, as if to say we shouldn't be asking for a glass of wine. In fact, they had already turned the lights out behind the bar and no one was actually working; we had to wait for someone to make their way over from the dinner tables. Another group (4 people) came in moments after we got our wine, and the server said, "I won't be able to help you for 10 or 15 minutes. I have to clear the tables." All in all, it was not a good experience. With some many other good options in Atlanta, we won't be going back. Skaityti daugiau

WIFI connection was really bad. I struggled to do anything on the internet. A maid walked into my room at 9:30pm without knocking.

The hotel was definately not a 4 star hotel. I have had better rooms and service at 2 star hotels... The Ellis was not easy to find due to poor signage and point of entry. Front desk staff was neither personable or efficient. The employee that checked us in couldnt seem to find our reservation and tried to charge my card although the room was prepaid. […] After 5 minutes he finally figured it out. We were advised that the hotel restaruant and bar closed at 10 even on Saturday night. The room was small and the view was poor. Our furnace/air conditioner fan was loud and made horrible screeching noise. On the positive side Sam the valet was amazing. He took good care of us, brought our bags into the room because there was no Bell-Man on duty. Sam went out of his way to give us good information where to stay. In the morning Sam was back on duty smiling and polite the morning Bell-Man was also excellent. The bathroom was also nicely remodeled.. The hotel is close to some good dining choices.. A convenient location, in the hotel district, with the train station entrance next door or accross the street, and train goes to the airport directly. Frontdesk people were really friendly and helpfu. The only problem was that the air-conditioning seemed to blow cold air only in my room.

I stayed there on Vacation and have been to Atlanta for fun trips several times now and this was my first... and last stay at the Ellis. The door guy was the best part of the stay. Over all the hotel is just small and trying to hard to be modern. Our room was clean but little things added up very quickly. Our shower knob was broken, and there was mold […] all around the edges. Same mildew problem was all around the bathroom door which was just gross. Our pillows had what appeared to be small drops of blood on them... gross! Then there was the quality of noise prevention from outside. Being an older building, and uptown I get it, your going to hear stuff outside. But being on the 14th floor you shouldn't be able to hear people talking on the street. I heard cops, taxi's, and worst of all, the construction being done in front of the hotel the whole time I was trying to sleep. - Room service breakfast was cold - $25 a night for valet is outrageous Spend a little more and stay at the W.
