Very helpful and enthusiastic concierge, the staff in general was great. The rooms are very nice, super soft sheets, and the Bliss bath products (and... the showers!) are amazing. However, there is construction going on outside of the hotel, and it started to get really noisy around 8PM. Since I was exhausted and knew I'd need a good night's sleep, I requested a new room, which was granted without hesitation-- the hotel staff are well aware of the issue and they were apologetic. Unfortunately, my new room was almost directly above the nightclub and it was Thursday night. I do appreciate that the room was on the 11th floor and the club is on the 2nd floor, but I could still hear the bustle of people outside quite clearly. Since noise was obviously an issue for me, hence the first request to change rooms, I feel the hotel should have put me in a room that they knew would be silent, even if that meant changing the type of room I had. Also, sun worshippers should know that the pool is rarely in the sun. I checked back at various points in the day, but could never quite get it right.
