Splendid is a nice hotel with a bit stronger business than leisure air. The rooms are large, clean and well appointed. The staff is professional. The breakfast was good. Choose lakeside rooms if you can, since the rooms "with the city view" are also the ones opening to the main Mamaia road, which is traffic non-stop. I was on the Third Floor...I could see the Black Sea from my Room...The Hotel Staff was Great...Wish I had gotten the Name of The AWESOME Girl that Work the Thursday Night of my Stay..SHE was AWESOME and Helpful with Directions and Train schulde Times...My Stay there was Great...Due get up before the Sun Rise's and take the Short Walk across the Street […] to the BEACH...The Sun coming up over the Sea is AWESOME and I Saw Dolphins Swinning in the early morning Hours..TOTALLY AWESOME!!!! This is a very nice hotel with a cafe that serves great food. It is just what we needed when looking for a couple of days of relaxation. Go for the massage. Michael was awesome and a good fix for tired bones

I went off season but in season, this hotel is in the middle of the action in Mamaia. It is new and clean and up to western standards. Staff was helpful and breakfast was included. Free wifi, that was a great sell for me.

When planning to do a customer visit in Constanta, I looked at a number of hotels. Reviews and pricing were important factors. I thought that the room rate of the Hotel Splendid was on the low side and was not expecting too much from the hotel. How wrong could I be!. i booked 4 rooms and all 4 of us were extremely impressed by the level of service, […] the quality of the rooms (we all had balcony's looking out over the water) and although we got there too late for the restuarant, they organised a pizza delivery that was taken care off by the hotel staff. Rooms: Good size, clean and well layed out. Comfortable bed, good heating (-8 deg C outside) and a powerful shower. Facilities: Small car park with spaces for us at 10pm at night. Restuarant with a great breakfast (didn't try the evening meal) Value for money: Completely exceeded my expectation. I have stayed in much worse hotels that were far more expensive. Book this hotel. I stayed here for 14 days at the end of September. The management and staff were very friendly and helpful. No problem if you only speak English. The laundry service was excellent as well. I had my clothes back clean, folded, ironed and smelling wonderful within 24 hours. The only issue I had was intermittent WiFi. This hotel is very modern. The rooms are spacious and clean. Loved to stay there. It is not located on the beach, but on the back on the lake. You can just cross the street and be by the beach. Staff was very corteous and breakfast was fantastic. The rooms have a nice balcony where you can see the lake. Overall really good place.

I stayed there for 2 nights. It's a really perfect hotel. It was built recently. The rooms are quite big, clean and very well decorated. You can reatch the hotel very easily since it's located along the main road of Mamaja(Mamaja avenue), nearby the lake. The only positive was that the heating in the rooms was very high. I do not recommend you to walk along the lake because is full of stray dogs and sometimes they are aggressive. Deutsch ist in diesem Hotel ein fehlender Faktor....der Service am Abend ungenügend für ein Urlaubshotel.....haben zu acht am ersten Abend ca, für 200 Euro Wein getrunken und als Dank wurde uns das Licht nach 22 Uhr abgedreht...man ist halt auf dem Balkan
