Holiday Inn McKinney - Fairview - McKinney

Stayed here after a concert. Fast and easy check in, courteous staff and nice rooms. Only downfall was noise heard between rooms and nearby construction, but not a true problem. Great place for overnight stay.

The hotel is great, looks new and very clean. Only one problem, I booked a kingsized bed through hotels.com, and they would not honor that reservation and gave me a room with two doubles. Seems they dont gurantee reservation requests through hotels.com. Was a bit noisy in the morning too, with kids running through the halls.

The hotel is not the best quality or value for the money. It was just OK, not good or bad. The pool area was very attractive but it was in need of chemicals because the water was stinky. The room was rather small and we were cramped for space. We did enjoy the bath and body works shampoo, conditioner, and lotion.

This is a new hotel so I would have thought the condition of the room would have been better. The tiles in the bathroom shower area had mildew stain, the faucet was not installed properly and water ran into the interior of the wall, and one end of the shower rod hardware looked like it was going to come out of the wall at any moment. Other than that, […] the room was quite comfortable. My only other disappointment was that the vending machines on 3 floors (2,3 & 4) were not working, I had to go to the lobby to get water and soda. The location was good, very close to relatives and IH-75. Room was nice, but cold for partner. We had to request additional blankets as the A/c-heater would not warm room sufficiently. Breakfast was good, but expensive, even with $20.00 coupon. Elevator advertisement mis-leading. Overall was enojable. Staff was excellent.

The pool area was dreadful. It was needing some serious cleaning! My kids and I love smimming and we went once, and did not go back. Breakfast is NOT FREE! They had the normal continetal breakfast food for $8 a person during the weekend. The hotel was otherwise very quiet and clean. Not my top pick for a family hotel. We had a great stay! Only thing we thought might need improvement is better vaccuming. In corners and hard to fit spaces you could see the dust or that it had not been vaccumed for a while. Hotel and room were pleasingly clean and comfortable. My only beef was the bed was too soft for my comfort as I perfer a firmer bed but everything else was fine.

New construction with easy access off Hwy 75. Nice upscale room ameneties. Bar had digital juke box with best bar speakers I've ever heard.

Highway construction made access ackward but still relatively easy in and out. Room was very comfortable, clean, nicely decorated. As we entered the hotel we heard quite a loud party, but in our 2nd floor room we did not hear a thing. Yeah, peaceful slumber :)

I really enjoyed my stay. Not happy about the construction making it difficult to get to the hotel, but not their fault. Bed was very firm, I like mine softer. Staff was super friendly. Hotel food was over priced, but the convenience was nice.

The room was comfortable and the bed was great. The inside swimming pool was horribly loud - making it unusable to anyone except those with small children who are desperate for entertainment. The wait staff at the restaurant for breakfast was quite possibly the worst I have ever experienced.

Very nice hotel and small but nice pool with a waterfall and hot tub. Kids had a blast playing in the pool. Breakfast was not worth $8.95 per adult!

I had a very pleasant stay. I don't sleep well away from home unless the hotel feels squeaky clean, safe, comfortable and quiet. This place was all of those. It did get a little loud out in the hallway in the morning but not until 9 or 10 so I can't really complain about that. The staff was really pleasant; I didn't check in till after 1am and they […] were totally accommodating. This location had a very nice indoor pool with a small area for little children and a very nice hot tub. The rooms were very adequate in space. The only thing I would have liked to see would be a better seal on the bottom of the door to help silence noise from the hallway. It was a REALLY nice Holiday Inn...best one I've been at. The beds were extremely comfortable and the rooms were very upscale for the price. We had one minor issue. I ordered stuffed french toast to be delivered to my room. I was pleasantly surprized at how quickly it arrived and how hot the breakfast was! The only issue I had was that it was not stuffed […] french toast. When I called to inquire, he said he would talk with the cook and get back to me. When he called back, he was very appologetic, because he didn't know, but they had run out. He immediately said he would pay for the french toast and asked if he could get me something different. I said no, because it was still very good! The reason why I say this is because everyone makes mistakes sometimes, but its how they handle the situation that makes the experience either good or bad and this turned out good! Skaityti daugiau

Only complaint was to change the temperature on the thermostat was not user friendly and difficult to do. You had to press the up or down arrow several times to get it to change one degree, when I say several I mean approx 10 times. That was annoying, otherwise the room was beautiful and I would definitely stay there again.

The indoor pool and hot tub were gorgeous! The room was clean and lovely. I would definately stay again. Plus it was close to lots of great shopping!

Everything was great and the staff was friendly. the only problem that we encountered was the restaurant ran out of breakfast food the first day. They had several sports teams there and I guess they ate more than was expected. lol

This hotel was perfect for our quick trip for a wedding reception at the Eldorado Country Club. We could see the tennis court lights from our room. The hotels recommended for our stay were much further away. This was the perfect location. We couldn't of had a better stay. Thank you.

My first Holiday Inn hotel. I was VERY impressed. Location is great-close to shops and restaurants. Easy access to 75. The hotel was very clean and modern. They had a deep drawer in the bathroom which was so nice to have! They have a smaller fridge for water and drinks and a microwave. Great if you are traveling with children!
