The hotel was convenient for an overnight stay. We asked for a non-smoking room and the room smelled like an ashtray. The employees were very friendly. Just for a one night stay it was a bit pricey. We arrived at the hotel around 9ish and we were out by check out time 11 am. Breakfast was good for buffet style. There was only 1 soda machine on the floor […] and that was malfunctioning. The hotel is a fairly convenient location to the Killington/Pico area (20 minutes or so away). There isn't much around from a food standpoint (Ponderosa, Denny's, Taco Bell and 99 Restaurants). The hotel breakfast was disappointing... everything is buffet, including the hot drinks. There was little to no presentation along with the scrambled eggs, sausage/bacon, […] "vermont" potatoes, and pancakes- if you wanted bread/toast, they ran out on the Friday. The hot tubs were in good working condition; however, the belt on the treadmill needed waxed as I am still trying to get the burning rubber smell out of my gear. Skaityti daugiau

Pros: on checking-in the room was very clean, the room was equipped with a plasma flat screen TV, a refrigerator and a microwave, the front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. Cons: three of us share a room with just double beds, it was a tight squeeze for my husband and I in one of the double beds. The hallway and pool area needs renovation. […] The hall carpets were worn and stained, the pool was cloudy and the two hot tubs were not working, one was empty and the other one third full with stagnat water. We picked the hotel becuase we knew we wanted to soak in the hot tubs after a hard day of skiing. The hotel is located next to a shopping center and is about 17 miles from Killington. Location is great, room was fine, having a fridge and microwave in the room is fantastic. Hot tub was also very nice, though I wished it was just a tad hotter. My only real complaint is the air conditioning/heat unit in the room. It is pretty loud, which would have been fine if there was a way to make it stay on - but on low, high, and auto it turned […] off and on, off and on. The room isn't very soundproof - noises are very easily heard from the hall except when the heat/air unit is on. So I didn't sleep well at all with either noises from the hall waking me, or the unit itself turning off and on. I enjoyed my stay very much. I have three suggestions. Change the mattresses. They are very firm and not tolerated when someone has arthritis and change your pool to allow swimming in a deep end.

Friendly, helpful staff, but the hotel is beginning to show its' age - musty smell in rooms, old furnihings, fan in bathroom idn't work toilet flushed very slowly etc.

I was unsatisfied with my stay. The heater was "working," and the max I cut set it on was 80 degrees, yet my room was freezing all night. Even the covers were not nearly enough for me to stay warm; I ended up sleeping in my hoodie and full clothing. First of all if I could give halves I would. This hotel is not a bad hotel in anyway, due to my own mistake I got put in a smoking section and that was a problem because of my brother who has athsma. I did go and ask the front desk if there was anything to be done but there were no extra rooms. They did offer to come and deionize the room and were very […] nice and understanding as well as apologetic for something that wasn't their fault. The only thing that I would say was a problem was our bath-shower which kept clogging up as well as their washer and dryer not working. This hotel was ok for what we paid. They should be ashamed of themselves for the condition of their gym. It is in abysmal condition. Most equipment doesn't work and what does work is pretty rusty and in very poor condition. I found 50% of the staff to be helpful and courteous, but the other 50% not so much. I stayed here for three nights. I liked the indoor pool, hot tub and sauna. One hot tub, however, was not working and neither was cleaned in the evening. If you want to soak after a day on the slopes, the water will be very used by that time. The fitness center was good. The best thing about this hotel is the location. The heating system in the room is very inconsistent. The heat is either too hot, or not exsitent. Need better thermostats in the room rather than the window heating units.

We stayed at the hotel for a couple of days of skiing at Killington and Pico. Since we couldnt be right on the mountain this was a terrific alternative. My only complaint was that the hot tub jets did not work properly. I liked that one hot tub was kept hotter than the other!

We stayed two nights and the location was a 1/2 hr from Killington resort in which I was misled online when I booked but we made the best of it. Also in a strip mall.One of the hot tubs wasn't working and not very clean. Pool was clean. Room was clean and comfy. No elevators either but manageable. Overall good stay

Stayed there for 4 days. Clean and comfortable hotel with nice accommodations, buffet style breakfast. The only thing i didnt like is bar. Ordered two grape crush cocktails and couldn't even taste alcohol. too sour.

Christmas family ski trip. Hotel was close enough to ski either Killington, or Okemo mountians, about the same distance from both, but Okemo seemed like a much easier drive. The hotel was great, even if the weather wasn't. We could only ski two days because of warm rainy weather on our other two days that we hoped to be skiing. That was okay though, […] because my seven year old enjoyed the pool every night, and the front desk was very helpful with recommendations around town for activities to entertain a seven year old child. This hotel is not based in beautiful green countryside as the pictures might lead you to believe. It is in the middle of a strip mall on route 7 out of Rutland. It is quite a distance from the town centre and surrounded by traffic.

Nice room, comfortable beds, microwave, coffee maker, and fridge added to convenience; restaurant food was excellent; very friendly staff, from front desk personnel to maintenance workers; great pool and two hot tubs were steps from our room. We will definitely return!

This hotel has most of the amenities you need with a decent location. It is a little dated but everything has been well maintained and is clean and comfortable. There are nicer places to stay but this one is hard to beat given the price.

For the most part it is a great hotel. The parking lot and the rooms in one wing are getting upgrades but it does not interfer with the operations. We did reserve a king room and got a twin so I will look closer at the check in information next time. The resterrant and bar on the premises had great srvice. I would stay again just for the breakfast.

We enjoyed staying there and had fun in this town. The hotel is lovely but it sure need help improving as well as renovating. I saw the peeling ceiling in the pool area and few in the bathroom where we stayed. The heater was being loco (luckily the temperature wasn't that bad that we need it much.) I know the economy is bad but this hotel needs help […] badly. It was a great place to stay. I love it when it's a pet friendly. Not many are that way. A friend of mine have a pet and would love to stay there. One advice, if you want us to come back or bring in more people, please make a free breakfast as part of deal. Thanks for the great time. On the good side: the hotel was conveniently located, lots of stores and restaurants nearby and about a 20 minute drive to Killington. The pool was big, there were two hot tubs, sauna, and decent work out room. The staff was courteous. On the bad side: the bathroom was quite outdated, circa 1985. The in room fridge froze all of our food. The TV remote […] didn't work, maintenance came and checked the batteries, took the remote and never returned with another. We have stayed in many other Holiday Inns, this one was sub par in my opinion. Particularly when there are so many other choices nearby. My boyfriend and I stayed 2 nights at this hotel visiting family for the weekend. We chose the Holiday Inn as we had stayed at this chain in the past. Next to the Hampton Inn, this hotel was highly recommended as advertised. The pros: the staff in the hotel and restaurant were very friendly and the room was comfortable and a decent size. It was at […] a convenient location. Parking space was plentiful and free. The cons: the floor plan of the hotel was complicated. We were situated at the back of the hotel and it felt like being in a maze finding it. There was no elevator and the stairwell was dark and smelled funny. This is an old hotel and the furniture and fixtures could use an upgrade. Also, I was disappointed with the cleanliness of the hotel - the sheets were stained and the towels were dirty, we had to request for new ones. Because of this, I was almost afraid to walk barefoot in the carpet. I had expected more from this hotel chain. On our last day, we were awakened by the fire alarm at dawn and had to evacuate the hotel and were outside for an hour. Needless to say, it was an inconvenience but we were just glad it was not serious. Overall, for the price of this hotel, I would say it was not as I had expected. We were traveling to New York State and this was a convenience place on the way. The room was clean but this is an old Holiday Inn and so it was a little antiquated. The breakfast with the room was good. The employees of the hotel and restaurant were very helpful and friendly.

The hotel was in a good location but was confusing as it was large without a central entrance so had to drive around to a different entrance, kind of annoying. Rooms were not well sound proofed so hallway noise carried into room. Staff could not have been nicer and I would stay here again if nothing else was open.
