The hotel was in a commercial area, but was nicely kept, the service was nice, the hotel was clean and the rooms were clean, roomy and nicely decorated. All that you could ask for.

Our room was very nice with plenty of room. We had a double queen suite on the 3rd floor. The only down side of the whole stay was Saturday night was a sweet sixteen party and a soccer convention, but even with the place over flowing with teenagers we slept soundly. Our dogs were loved by most of the staff, we have American Bully's. While our overall experience was wonderful, the fragrance of the air in our room was overpowering and caused us to cancel our last night stay. We enjoyed our stay there immensley! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was great with alot of variety and the immenities were outstanding! We only wished that there was on site laundry available. Would defintely stay at that hotel or any other Hampton Inn and Suites again!!!!! Thanks for the relaxing stay!!!

Just stayed one night as we were visiting friends. Hotel and staff were both very nice. Would stay there again as the location was good also. Close to restaurants and shopping.

Excellent choice for both cost and comfort. Our room key (1 out of the 2) kept malfunctioning, other than that, everything was perfect.

We were very pleased with this hotel experience. Our first Christmas spent in any hotel and it couldn't have been more pleasant. Jude took care of our room and she was beyond good. Airflow was either stuffy or it had to be cool. Kind of like humidity was really high. It was changing from mild to cool though. My family couldn't catch the cookies on the counter. There were cookies 1 night, on our check in night out of the 7 days we stayed. The room was clean, the hallways smelled fresh, furniture was modern, bed was insanely comfortable, vending machine worked, the hot tub was hot, the pool wasn't too cold, staff was courteous, breakfast was delicious... what else could I want?! We loved it and would certainly stay there again if we return to the area.

The first stay which was a month ago everything was good except the on demand movies was not working so could not enjoy the tv second stay this past weekend the room above us had loud kids running and banging very loud the whole night long

This hotel was one of the better hotels we have stayed in. The beds and pillows were super comfortable. The pool was a little cold, but the hot tub made up for that. My only issue is that we had been driving for 10 hours and wanted to check in early. I called every hour to check on the status of checking in early and was repeatedly told there were no […] rooms cleaned. Have stayed in several hotels and I believe this hotel is the best. I will choose this one over any one in the area. Bed was comfortable, the hot breakfast was good, we also enjoyed the indoor pool and hot tub. All the staff that we encountered were friendly and helpful !!

our stay was pretty good, the location was next to a bunch of restaurants that is just a walking distance from the hotel. Our room was pretty spacious for 5 adults, wifi was fast, and the breakfast was great with lots of varieties( my daughter has severe dairy allergies and she was able to eat the food with no problems), the only bad thing was that […] our room wasn't cleaned and the garbage was picked up on one day of our trip... It was a short drive to Virginia Beach and Norfolk. We easily found parking for just $2 an hour at the beach and had a very easy drive to the USS Wisconsin. Every restaurant you can imagine is within a couple of miles of the hotel, including a mall and countless shopping centers. Beds were very clean and very comfortable. To top everything off our son loved the indoor pool. I wouldn't take the time to write a review if I wasn't very, very satisfied with my experience. The staff were very nice and knowledgable about the area. We were looking for a good seafood restaurant close by and were given directions to one we were really pleased with. The room was VERY clean. The pillows and bed almost more comfortable than mine at home. Loved it. The reviewers were right. It is a little out of the city, but if the price is right, it's nothing to drive the extra few miles. The staff is very friends. The room could be a little bigger when you are getting two queen beds, but the breakfast was above the average quality. Staff were very helpful, room quality good with a lot of extras that added to the experience. Room wifi free. Breakfast more than adequet.Overall a better standard than I expected for the price. Although I was a little dissappointed that the hotel had no restaurant the surrounding area facilities made up for this.

We have found out soon enought that the hotel's central location was amidst stripmalls so there were plenty of stores and restaurants nearby. The hotel was clean and in good condition but did not have any regional flavor, and we wished we could open the windows and let some air in. The pool - always a highlight for our children - was nicely warm but so full of chemicals that several family members developed itchy rashes after the use of it.
