Fairfield Inn and Suites by Marriott - Palm Coast

We were on our way to South Carolina from south Florida and were looking for a place to overnight that was close to the Washington Oaks State Park south of St. Augustine. This Fairfield Inn is right off I-95 situated in a very nice restaurant, shopping, and business area. Staff was very nice and helpful. The hotel was extremely clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. My kids enjoyed the large outdoor swimming pool and hot tub, and the complimentary breakfast was 10 x better than any continental breakfast you may normally be offered. Overall, we were satisfied with our stay.

Location was convenient to highway and center of town, but no noise. Very friendly staff, room was clean and tastefully decorated. Breakfast was excellent with offerings of healthy and not so healthy options. Options were brand name, no off brands. Plenty of seating available. I would definitely stay there again, very pleasant!

Great stay, located close to I 95 so noise is an issue in rooms facing highway. In the future I would ask for a room facing away from the highway. Very nice and new hotel.

Cold shower and when we reported it the clerk replied," we've had several complaints about that this morning , so we lit the second hot water boiler." Thehotel is very clean and decorated nicely. The room was spotless and I loved the shower. It had very high water pressure and a great shower head. I never made it out to the pool and hot tub because for me the shower felt as great as the hot tub would have. The breakfast was a normal continental but satisfactory. Extremely basic hotel with no bar, no restaurant, no minibar and where you have to cook (microwave) your own breakfast. Room very noisy both with air-conditioning unit and with traffic from the highway.Disappointing.

Had to book this hotel at the last minute and was very glad I did. Very clean rooms with an awesome shower stall! The staff was superb, the desk clerk even gave us directions to a fabulous Italian restaurant for dinner. We only stayed one night while traveling through Florida. Everything was fine. The breakfast area was a little small when everyone was trying to eat at the same time but overall it was good. We will probably stay there again in the future.

We stayed for one night and had a pleasurable experience. Friendly staff,. Lobby and room were very clean and comfortable. Not ideally located since it's a few miles from the beach and not right on the I-95 exit...but that's a small, small inconvenience.

The hotel appears to be new construction. It's better space and comfort than you'll find for twice the price in a larger area. Stayed here instead of a hotel for much more in Daytona Beach a few miles south when going to the NASCAR race. I'd recommend it.

The hotel was nice, it was clean, and the staff was friendly. The continental breakfast in the morning was great - lots of choices. The downsides were that the information on the hotel said there would be a bathtub in the room, but there wasn't, only a shower. The other downside is that *everything* in Palm Coast is closed on Mondays. No, really... […] everything. A lot of businesses just close early (3 or 4pm) but almost all of the restaurants are just closed entirely on Monday! We had a really hard time finding anywhere to eat that wasn't a chain restaurant. I know, Monday isn't exactly the best night for a getaway, but you'd still expect a few local places to be open. Anyway, that isn't the fault of the hotel, just a warning to future travelers!
