Hampton Falls Inn - Hampton Falls

We only stayed one night. We were invited to a wedding party in Newbury Port. Most of the guest stayed in an other hotel, about 1/2 mile down the road. We were very happpy with the room. There seemed to be sound proof walls and windows since it was very quiet although the hotel was busy.

A fairly plain hotel, but that was exactly what I was looking for. I was very happy with the price, compared to the hotels in Portsmouth, which was where most of my time was spent. This worked out well since Portsmouth was a fairly short drive away.

The good: The room is large, and the bed is comfortable.The bad: The hotel is pretty old, or at least feels that way and it becomes obvious as soon as you walk into the room. The floor as creaking with every step of the neighbors above you. The balcony door does not lock. The TV is a 19inch box that needs serious adjustment of colors. Inn was ok for the money, but wasn't anything to write home about. Ok for an overnight stay on a trip or place to sleep when going to Hampton Beach.

The hotel in in need of updating. It is in ill repiar, the rooms are dingy with burn marks in the carpet and rust stained linens.

Shower head needs cleaning. Was stained from hard water and most of the nozzles didn't work. Coffee table was worn.

The room was not clean, in particular the bathroom (appeared not to have been cleaned between guests) and the bed (the blanket was full of cigarette burns) . The pool and jacuzzi were closed for repairs despite being advertised as open, both online and on the sign in front of the hotel. Not a bargain and not as advertised.

The pool was disgusting and murky. The hot tub was not operational and nor was I informed when I checked in. Should I have know in advance I would not have stayed there as that was one of the major reason I chose the hotel. Check in is at 2:00 and room was not ready until 3:30. Had a light burnt out in entry way. Beds are worn out and sagging badly. Hotel very worn looking. Very dirty. Burn holes in the sheets, blanket and comforter of a smoke free room. Floor filthy, furniture dirty, sink dirty. Ancient tv. Afraid we would catch something.

i wouldnt recommend this hotel the toliet ran all night because of brick in tank to conserve water the shower kept changing temp from freezeing to scalding there where holes in the bathroom door very poor maintaince

For the Hampton beach area this is a pretty good hotel in nicer towns this place would be considered marginal at best.

The bathroom could have been cleaner. I have cancer so everything needs to be very clean. Spayed everything down with Lysol and wore flip-flops in the shower. We did get clean sheets and towels every day.

Overall appearance is shabby and worn. The staff were polite and helpful, but very underdressed. The room was ok, the lights in the bathroom area all hummed so loud I had to turn them off. The bathroom floor squeaked. The room did come with a good sized fridge and microwave.

People managing hotel were great, but for the price, linens were threadbare, damage on some furniture, not handicapped friendly.

We stayed in this hotel for a single night. The beds squeaked loudly when you sat on them, the bathroom door latch was broken. It was clean and the staff was pleasant, but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

i am only 5'5" and the shower head was so low i had to duck to wash my hair. Air conditioning unit wouldnt stay on would get to a certain temp then shut off and not come back on for a very long time. Room was clean and confortable and convient to our work

when my one of my daughters complained to hotel manager about a stolen coach bag from the room after room cleaning no investigation or compensation was provided. no one should stay in this hotel

Because I had 2 small dogs, I had to stay in a sub-level room that smelled so badly of cigarette smoke it kept me awake! The entire hotel stinks of smoke!

When we first checked in the room they originally put us in was disorganized and unclean. There was food left over on the table and an old McDonald's coke in the mini fridge. We called the front desk and they promptly and politely apologized and upgraded our standard Queen room to the full Suite complete with living area, dining table and king sized […] bed. There is no housekeeping to speak of. I entered the room to find old chewed gum on the night stand. The tub was filthy. It was obvious by the number of "hairs" that the tub hadn't been touched since the last guest(s) stay. Disgusting!!

The pool was to hot and needs to be cleaned..Drained and power washed to get the stains up.. will never stay there again.They say they have a game room but the don't they got rid of it years ago so they need to update the info for this hotel..

Our room wasn't as clean as I expected. There were tips on the curtains. Also the maids kept knocking on the door late a night or early in the morning even though we had a " do not disturb" sign on the doorknob. The pool was really dirty.

Wanted a clean hotel with indoor pool and hot tub for a girls night out with grandaughters . it was a great success! everyroom has a deck so i could step right out and have a smoke . not the ritz ! but price was good hotel was good. :-) we will be back!

Hampton Falls Inn is conveniently located to plenty of attractions in the Hampton Beach area. The hotel in on an easy route to get around to the beach and restaurants and attractions. The size of the room cleanliness was passable. However, outside of the room, hallways, pools & jacuzzi area was very dirty. The water had a haze from the rusti sediment […] from the bottom of the pool. The fans and the lights had a layer of dust on them half inch thick. So this is the reason why we didn't choose to eat at the restaurant in this hotel. But you should feel very safe and secure as this hotel had what seemed to be at least 100 cameraa through out the hotel We would like to recommend this hotel to our friends with a cautjion and warning. the hotel had towels with stained towels, the fan in the bathroom was making alot of noise. alot of noise around the hotel at 10pm and at 4-30 in the morning, this place really sucked and i would never go back there even if i got a free room

We stayed at this hotel as a stop over on our way to Bar Harbor, ME. Let me start by saying we smelled marijuana in the hall leading to our room. : / Our room was a non smoking room, but it still smelled of smoke...even our blankets which was so awful when we got into bed. It appeared that the hotel shampoo bottles were RE-FILLED with water!!! The […] cap to the bottle was open and the shampoo was VERY watery...when washing my hair not one bubble/lather was produced! The water in the toilet was brown and cloudy. There is a Holiday Inn Express near this hotel and closer to the highway....I would definitely chose to stay there and not at the Hampton Falls Inn.. Towels were a shade of yellow but were suppose to be white and the toilet was dirty.
