I travel to Bend often and for the price it's the best place I've found. It's not fancy, but it's clean & staff is very nice.

Great price for nice, clean room plus breakfast. I wasn't thrilled that they used an untucked flat sheet instead of a fitted sheet on the bed. But other than that, the room was comfortable and clean, room service was great, and the breakfast buffet was really good with the waffle bar, nice tea selection, and biscuits and yummy gravy. room was clean, bed comfortable, loved the pillows, breakfast was adequate, but they missed the mark on the wake up call. Stayed in Bend, OR, had an extremely important appointment to be at in California (5 1/2 hr. drive) by 10:00 am. and never received the the wakeup call. We were headed to Eugene, OR and needed a place to stay the night along the way. I was glad for the clean rooms and tasty continental breakfast.

I was very pleased that I had booked the Sugarloaf Mt Motel for a recent weekend in Bend. The room was clean, the environment quiet. The staff was pleasant and helpful. As far as breakfast is concerned, it is not really a continental meal. It is so much more with lots of options.

Staff was friendly and efficient, no problems with check in. Breakfast was fine--nothing special but filling, and they had a waffle maker so that was cool. The absence of any fresh fruit at the buffet was kind of a bummer, though. The room was clean and pretty standard...again, nothing special but for pretty cheap/night it did the job. Easy to get downtown […] or to the freeway for exploring. Our biggest complaint is that the WiFi was spotty and we couldn't get a consistent signal in our room. I asked the front desk and they said they were having trouble with their cable and internet....not sure if this affected the signal range, though. But who goes on vacation to watch TV? Best pillows ever, breakfast was not elaborate, but was sufficient. Room included microwave, fridge, coffee maker, hair dryer, and was very roomy. Will use this property again for short stay.

This was a great deal for the price and location. We were able to sleep very well . It was quiet, clean and convenient. The staff was helpful and it gave us exactly what we needed. An affordable, safe, clean place to stay, and the breakfast was adequate for our needs. We stayed five nights and had a great experience.

Overall, because of the price we got, the hotel is a good value. The one problem we had during our week long stay was the sheets. The first night I actually woke up on the mattress (ew!) because they use flat sheets instead of fitted ones. I mentioned this to the front desk, and he said that there had been other complaints about that, but that they […] had no fitted sheets at all. We asked for extra sheets and blankets from housekeeping and wrapped that mattress up by overlapping them all, plus brought in our own king blanket for added measure. We were fine from then on. my stay at the sugarloaf was very enjoyable, clean, newer, good breakfast, only downsides were no hot tub, room wasnt huge (didnt expect at this price anyway) and the good sized tv wasnt a flat screen (again not expected at this price) for whay you pay, i havnt stayed in a nicer motel

We stayed here for three nights and wanted to save some money so we could shop more. This place was better quality than most of the chain hotels for a fraction of the price! It was quiet and the rooms were sooo clean! Will definetly stay here again!

We live in Central Oregon but needed an economical option for our weekend stay while we attended a conference in Sunriver. We stayed on the lower level and our room was clean, the entry way was well lit, there was convenient parking, and a continental breakfast. We would recommend this motel to friends.

The room was nice. Quiet. What I expected. Breakfast could be improved upon. Hot things hotter. The 2nd morning, we opted for breakfast out.

The only problem was that we booked room for 2 nights, so on the the second day when we got back to our room the key didn't work. Went to the office to have the key redone and they thought we were only staying one night even though we prepaid for two. Was really not a big deal, would stay there next time we visit Bend.

I will never book this hotel again. Bed was like a rock and the room smelled like an old smoking jacket. Horrible. Staff was fine.

Very clean, and convenient location. Beds fairly comfortable, room was comfortable, clean, and breakfast was nice with waffles, boiled eggs, sausage and biscuits, cereals, and assorted cold and hot beverages. Excellent for price we paid. Highly recommend staying here for the price!

I thought everyone we delt with were very helpfull. The Motel was clean in all areas. The Lobby was very inviting. Friendly!!!! The breakfeast was very good. We would recomend this to our friends and family. We would stay again if in the area.

Second time staying at this hotel. Previous review had stated that I would stay here again and I did. Great value for the rate through hotels.com. In town to ski at Batchelor.

Although the hotel met all our expectations, we were surprised when we were charged an additional $15 pet fee that expedia neglected to inform us of. Better coordination between Expedia and hotels that participate would eliminate the "surprise fees" that take something away from an otherwise pleasant experience.

The hotel room was clean and well kept and the staff were friendly and helpful. There are conveniences like free wireless internet and a coffee maker and hair dryer in the room. I would stay here again.
