Conveniently placed for the expo area, and although it is a little way out from the centre, it is easy to take a bus or taxi to all areas of the city. Rooms were spotlessly clean and well equipped. Complimentary snacks and drinks on Tues - Thurs evenings were a nice touch. Breakfasts were good, but cooked choice was limited. Swimming pool was small […] but adequate and beautifully clean. On the whole I would stay here again and would recommend it. During my stay there were business people, families and couples. My only complaint, and I did mention this to the hotel staff, was that the concierge who arranged taxis presented them at an 'inflated' price, and it took me a few days to realise that if you just walk onto the road for a taxi then the price would be considerably less - even as much as 75%. This hotel was in a great location in that it was centrally located and it was an identifiable area ("by the Expo") which is much better for someone who doesn't know the city. Our room FAR exceeded our expectations. There was a FULL kitchen including a dishwasher! (that was not used, but whatever.) Nice desk space. Only complaint was dim lighting in […] the bathroom. Yes, that's all I could come up with. Hotel staff were very helpful. Wake up call was on time. Breakfast was outstanding. SO BIG AND FILLING, can't believe it was free! Business center is always open, very easy to use and never completely full on the weekends. Small fitness area, but that's ok. We didn't explore the pool, but it's outdoor and appears nice. We only stayed 1 night but had a good experience. Located at a central location in Guadalajara, next to the shopping mall, Plaza del Sol. Good customer service and friendly personnel. I recommend this area of Guadalajara in general, the hotel being there is a plus!

I have been to this hotel in the past. Still a good hotel, but with a few issues. Room was clean, but street noise from the window was more obvious than normal. I thought the window was not fully closed but it was. The desk is small and awkwark to use. They also need more outlets, the one on the desk is occupied by a cheap lamp (think college dorm […] style gooseneck) Most hotels use a desk lamp with additional outlets on the base. Kitchen has microwave, refrigerator, stove top, and dishwasher, but was not used. Bed is comfortable, air conditioner seemed hard to adjust. While sitting at the desk you will freeze. Shower/Tub is elevated about 2 inches, which is odd and a real surprise when you get out. Breakfast was better than most, with multiple hot dishes and excellent service. Very close by is the Plaza del Sol shopping center. Easy (and safe) to walk to, with retail, restaurants and Soriano food/ department store. From airport taxi is 260 pesos, returning it is 200 pesos.
