Room was comfortable and clean. Located on M6 but with access to North & South carriageway as well as minor road network. Food OK, but nothing special. Wifi connection a real bonus. Would stay again.

I stop in this hotel quite regularly through work and, whilst the hotel itself is quite dated in it's condition and decor, it is very clean, the rooms are good sized and the staff are excellent. The restaurant in the hotel is excellent with good basis value for money food and saves going onto the motorway forecourt to eat. I wasn't expecting much but in fairness the hotel is reasonably comfortable, has a bar and restaurant and is very handy for the M6. It's right next to the services but I made the mistake of following the satnav for the postcode and that took us across country from the junction before the services and to a different hotel close by. Good value hotel. A little hard to find as not straight off the motorway as expected. Rooms were not very soundproof so a little noisy but otherwise a good stay.

Good value for money but not perfect. A few imperfections in the room; shower "dodgy" but worked OK. Room not as clean as it could be, but on the whole good value for money. Food excellent. Staff and service excellent.

All OK but we did get double charged, this is currently being reviewed by the Hotel.

Very difficult to find the entrance into the hotel since we were not coming from the main road. We were very frustrated. The rooms were very hot and there was not a way to cool them down. Maybe some fans needed to circulate the air when the window is open?

Excellent hotel which was a bonus. Set away from the M6 allowing pets and has smoking rooms. Restaurant on site is great value - saved eating from the services concourse. Nice friendly staff.

At the risk of putting the price up, this is the best Day's Inn ever. Food is amazing. Rooms are ultra clean. Staff "go the extra mile" to make sure everything is OK. For a budget hotel, this is the bees knees.

This place is a gem. Excellent value for money. Convenient, clean and full of extra features like a restaurant on site, bar, comfy seating area, free wifi etc. The staff are excellent and go out of their way to be helpful. The bed was comfy and we were not disturbed by road noise, or any noise in fact. i would stay here again in a heartbeatA

For a budget hotel, this is a must. Staff are friendly, food is amazing and it is in an excellent location, set on the M6 services but well away from the service station. Very good all round value for money

Hotel was en route, clean with a reasonable bar and restaurant, and a lot cheaper than the "£29 a night " group. Despite being on the edge of the motorway it was fairly quiet, and we were on the noisy side. If you are a light sleeper ask for a room away from the motorway.

What can I say. This hotel is on the motorway, and comes with a certain preconceived idea. Do not be fooled. The rooms are immaculate. The service is second to none. Nothing is too much trouble. There is a restaurant and bar in the hotel (I thought I would be eating KFC all week - how wrong was I). This is a budget hotel that has, in my opinion a 5 […] star rating. The staff were very, very helpful - nothing was too much trouble. Also they were pleasant and relaxed. The room itself was basic, but clean - no fancy bottles of toiletries in the bathroom, but every other amenity was available - and you could always buy forgotten items at reception. Location is on Charnock Richard service station M6 - very convenient […] and quiet considering the proximity to the motorway. Services open 24 hours and are fairly well equipped. Very comfortable, more than my own bed and that's a first! It's Very quite apart from the safetyy ramps as you come in, exceptional considering its by the M6. Clean too. A good spot for a family stay for Camelot Theme Park. Better than the Travelodge we stayed in.

Staff were very welcoming and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. Only down side was that thebath had apparently not been used for some time and 'moss' came out of the hot tap, along with the #very# hot water. Otherwise good value for money. I would certainly stay again.

The cot for my grand daughter was filthy and full of staines we had to make a bed for her and my grand son had to use have of the single bed I was very dissapointed and wont be going again

Very convenient for travellers. However, Sat Nav takes you a round about route rather than getting off at the service station off the motorway. Food in the cafe bar was also reasonable.

Staff when we both checked in and out were really friendly and helpful. Nicest service I've had from a hotel for a long time. Room was cold when first walked in, but banged on the radiator and it was soon fine. Freeview TV and free wifi much appreciated. Room was at the back of the hotel on the first floor and looked out onto countryside. Nice to be […] away from the M6 noise. Only criticism was a small amount of mould inbetween tiles in bathroom, but nothing that 5 mins with a toothbrush and bathroom cleaner couldn't sort. We had a good welcome after a long drive. Our room - a twin (good rate so we went for that over a double) was actually a disabled room with one single bed and a 'put you up'. There was no soap in the container in the bath so when I had a shower I had to get out of the shower to see about getting soap/shampoo. lets just say im glad we printed the receipt for our stay -- as we were expected to pay again!!! within minutes od gettin 2 our room we found out it was non smoking -- even though our booking was for smoking. we enquired -- but no smoking rooms available. as for the room --- quite basic - u pay for what u get. at 6 months pregnant i found it quite uncomfortable […] 2 sit on the bed 2 watch tv as there was no arm chairs! if u take ur own towels - make sure they are not white - as the cleaners take them!!! used towels are requested to be put on the floor in bathroom - which we did. they also took my sons bath towel which was hanging in our room!! has his name on, and we are still waiting to hear from hotel regarding the return of it!! despite all of that, i would recommend the hotel for the price that we paid, we also had discount -- as we did a search for discounts for hotels.com.
