Was expecting a more modern hotel; was very disappointed with the dated decor or the room. Air conditioning was leaking. Kitchen area was very very basic and dated. Pool area and bar not the cleanest. Glad we were only there for one night. This hotel is away from ant amenities like supermarkets and restaurants and bars.

Only stayed here for 2 nights but for the price it was well worth it. Wouldn't recommend it for people that didn't like steps cause there's quite a few. Breakfast is rubbish! There is nothing to do near the hotel.

I went with a friend to this hotel, we really enjoyed ourselves, we felt very at home in our apartment and enjoyed the facilities! One thing, the swimming pool is closed at 8pm along with most other things, they did have small concerts but there wasnt much to do in evening. We were only staying one night, ahead of a holiday further down the coast. However, the resort was very pretty and very, very well maintained. The pool area was delightful. It is a little out of the way and would be a very long trek up and down a steep hill to the beach - so for us a car would be essential. Its quite a decent walk to the nearest shops […] and bars - but we noted that within the Grangefield there was a very good bar, it was quite busy and open very late. At time of booking the administrators were very friendly and helpful (we needed a ground floor - due to disabled mum) - which they accomodated no problem. Even though we arrived very late at the resort - the staff were extremely polite and welcoming. We were given an apartment on the ground floor - with a bit of a dark patio just in front of and overlooked by the parking area. But to be fair for an overnight stay this was not a problem. Our stay was great. Resort is beautiful and very equipped. However, resort staff did not seem very knowledgable about some of the tours they were booking.

The resort was really quite difficult to find so they could do with more helpful info on their website - no signs at the main road either. The resort was quite isolated and a car is essential if you want to go anywhere as there is no public bus service to the area and no courtesy bus. The main road is a good mile plus and ok going down but pretty steep […] hill back up at the end of a day. The resort does have good facilities so there are things to do if the weather was bad. The gardens and green spaces were well maintained although they should spray regularly for ants as they made our sun terrace unuseable. The pool are was clean and tidy and was well maintained. In the past we have preferred a cottage in thew Mijas hills, but this time we had a larger family group and kids along with us. Grangefield was absolutely ideal. Very nice suite with adequate bedding for all (although mattresses were not the greatest). Extremely convenient to all the surrounding attractions - and there are many. Lovely complex, staff very friendly and obliging. Apartment and kitchen clean and well laid ou. The grounds are well maintainedt You would need a car if you want to go to the beach, we chose the hotel due to its closeness to moterway as we went sightseeing to gibralter and Nerja. 25 mins from Malaga airport, will definately go back .

The hotel is extremely hard to find and is very far from the airport and the surrounding community. Furthermore, only stay at the hotel if you have a car -- it is needed to get anywhere.

We where staying at Grangefield for 4 days, and the size of the room was perfect, we really enjoyed our stay and can recommend it. Loved that you could cook your on food, and enjoy it on the balcony.

We stayed at this hotel only for two nights in a two bedroom apartment, and overall we had a pleasing experience. The hotel was not easy to locate, and we drove around a lot before finding it, and had to ask a few people. The location was probably our least favorite feature. The neighborhood is not really what you expect for a vacation spot, but inside […] the resort the management tries to make up for it. We were impressed to see that there was free entertainment nightly and had a good time both nights. On Sunday they had a good Flamenco troupe, while on Monday night there was a singer that played popular songs and made a lot of people stand up and dance. To complete the fun, from 10 pm to 11 pm it was a "Happy hour", which meant that all drinks were at half price. One night we had dinner at the local restaurant, and the food was decent for the price. Overall they practice good prices, but we were there offseason. The apartment we had was on the ground floor, and it looked nice and very clean. The terrace was very large and we enjoyed it every morning. Overall, this place is good for families with and without children who would like to enjoy a good vacation at a very good price. Overall a very good apartment hotel for families with small children. Situated in a quiet locality but close to the A7. Has a supermarket a 5 minute away open till late. Wifi available in the room for a reasonable fee and also in the lobby for free. Good sized bedrooms with ensuite, a spacious living room and well equipped kitchen made the stay enjoyable. […] Good views out of the window. Only drawback was we had our apartment on the top floor and there was no lift...so had to carry the luggage up the steps!! Clean an affordable, you get what you pay for. Breakfast good and a lot of space in the apartment. Perfect family apartment/hotel. Rentalcar is a MUST. No problem finding once you´ve found the street on the internet

Excellent rooms, well furnished, spacious and tidy. Great value for the price paid and the quality offered. A couple of negative points: restaurant cuisine not in line with expectations and hotel very difficult to be found (indications and road signs should definitely be improved)

Nice hotel, although in the direct neighbourhood there is nothing. You need a car. Check-in time at 17.00 is ridiculous and check-out at 10.00 is ridiculous too. Hardly time to swim in the evening and no time in the morning, because after breakfast you have to check out. Breakfast regular, No fresh fruit or freah juice.

A family of 5, we enjoyed staying last week. The places was clean, spacious and nicely decorated etc. Overall the hotel saved our holiday because it was nice, we weren't crazy for the area, it was nice enough but we would go somewhere else next time as there didn't seem to be much to do, but returning to the nice surrounds of the hotel each day saved […] us from hating the area. We had a hire car from the airport, so no problems finding the place & it isn't somewhere you'd stay without a car as it's too far from the main bus routes (just 1km up a hill, not so bad) to want to come and go often without a car. However a couple of minor beefs that I hope the hotel reads and thinks about changing - 1/ The pool times are too restrictive, I'd like to swim in the evening! - no swimming allowed without a lifeguard, how about a sign saying swim at your own risk instead? 2/ The indoor pool rules ridiculously required swimmers to wear a plastic cap! Why? 3/ Not enough TV channels in respective languages. There were just 5 channels in English, news, eurosport, cnbc, 2 poorly chosen channels - bring your own DVD's, luckily we did. We have stayed at this apart-hotel four times over the past 12 years, and each time the experience has been worse. On this occasion, there was water literally dripping inside the hotel when it rained; not to mention the constant dripping from our faucet in the bathroom. The shower didn't work well either. The buffet breakfast was very poor, and the […] two times we ventured to eat a dinner there, the food was simply awful. This is a pity, because food at other restaurants in the Marbella area is usually excellent, tasteful and a pleasant experience. You cannot get wifi reception in the rooms. The reception staff was not very attentive, and did just the bare minimum. As it is a "resort" of sorts, rooms are not cleaned daily, nor the towels changed. In summary, never going back. A very disappointing stay. This is absolutely not 4 star accommodation, in fact the sign outside reception shows it is a 3 key establishment. Apartments are well equipped yet basic and uncomfortable. They are cleaned and replenished only once every 4 days. Bags of dirty linen and rubbish were left outside our apartment for days at a time which were […] only removed after we spoke to reception after having to jump over the bags and the cockroaches hiding amongst the debris. Our apartment overlooked a road and building site on one side and an electricity pylon on the other. The lifeguard at the pool, which is very badly designed with little room to pass the faulty, uncomfortable sunloungers, was a serious spoilsport. No inflatables were permitted so children of all ages were bored in the pool. He also interrogated guests as to the location of their companions if towels were left on sunloungers while they dared go for a swim, to the loo or for a drink. He would remove towels and belongings from sunloungers if they were left 'unmanned' for longer than 10minutes at a time. His behaviour resulted in a few altercations between guests who had taken the sunloungers after he had cleared them and the previous guests who presumed the new inhabitants were responsible for the disturbance of their belongings. I asked reception for advice on the local area and to assist me in booking a restaurant for my husband's birthday - a restaurant we had visited before on a previous trip to the area. They didn't do it but didn't inform me it hadn't been done until I called to ask them to extend the reservation to accommodate more guests. on the whole we had a good holiday as we bonded with other guests who shared our despair - in fact they were scheduled to stay another week yet found alternative accommodation for the latter half of their holiday. a beautiful part of Spain but a very disappointing complex. We were stranded in Spain due to the volcano...we found this apartment on expedia (and it was cheap) so we booked it. It turned out to be a wonderful experience. Although some of the furniture was dated the layout of the resort was great. Plenty of space and a delicious breakfast (they also serve lunch and dinner but we ate elsewhere). Hotellet hadde masse trapper og egner seg ikke for bevegelseshemmede. Lang vei til nærmeste supermarked. Det lønner seg å ha bil når man oppholder seg på dette hotellet. Hotellet er beliggende ca. 1 km fra hovedvejen i et kuperet terræn, en bil er en nødvendighed. Det er beliggende i et roligt og stille område. På den årstid hvor vi var der, var der ikke så mange gæster og vi benyttede os overhovedet ikke af hotellets faciliteter, så det kan jeg ikke udtale mig om. Hotellet ver bra med hänsyn till priset. Allt fungerade väl, eller åtgärdades så snart vi sa till. Maten i restaurangen var lite fantasilös.Internet i de allmänna utrymmena var väldigt långsamt, men om man köpte en kupong till rummet så var det en hetl annan fart.

В общем отель неплохой.Но не вздумайте останавливаться в нем без машины.Территория очень зеленая и ухоженная.По вечерам проходят концерты и развлекаловки.У кого проблемы с английским есть на стойке Наталья все растолкует.Читали в отзывах что убирают раз в неделю и полотенца меняют только когда уже потребуешь.У нас за 10 дней 4 раза убирали и меняли […] полотенца.У нас был большой номер с 2 ванными комнатами и туалетами.Самый большой минус что попался номер с видом на старую стройку. Vi var på genomresa och stannade bara en natt. Lägenheten var fräsch och välutrustad. Komplett uppsättning köksredskap och även våttrasa och diskmedel fanns vilket hör till ovanligheterna. Därmed var även tallrikar och glas rena efter tidigare gäster. Vi kom klockan sju på kvällen. Då var poolerna stängda till vår stora besvikelse. De såg riktigt bra […] ut men tyvärr fick vi inte chansen att pröva dem. Inga hissar vilket var lite bökigt med tanke på att vår lägenhet låg på tredje våningen. Det var svårt att hitta hotellet då området är nytt och gatorna inte fanns med i vår GPS-navigator. Hotellet ligger långt från stranden. Å andra sidan är det nog trevligare att bada i poolen än att trängas på en överbefolkad strand. På en strand inte alltför långt bort som vi besökte var det mängder av små bruna brännmaneter och nästan inga på stranden badade. Enligt badvakten är det så mer eller mindre hela sommaren. Dejligt Hotel. Vi boede med vores terasse væk fra selv resort området og det var vi egentlig ret glade for, da der hver aften er underholdning på en udendørsscene. Det meste var godt men noget var knap så interessant og ved at bo den vej forsvandt noget af lyden heldigvis :) Lejlighederne havde en rigtig dejlig stor terasse og med solstole og selve […] lejligheden var helt perfekt. selve området var ikke så stort men det gjorde ikke noget. dog var det tit et problem at få en plads på solstolene ved poolen hvis ikke man kom præcis kl. 10.00 når de åbnede. der stod tydeligt at stole ikke måtte reserveres men det blev ikke overholdt og personalet gjorde ikke noget ved det. meget ærgeligt når man kun kan se 10-15 mennesker ved poolen men alle stole er optaget Skaityti daugiau

Køkkenfaciliteter gode, der var både ovn, mikrovn og glaskeramisk kogeplade, så gode muligheder for selv at lave mad. Restauranten var ikke god. Maden smagte ikke godt og var alt for dyr. Poolen var åbnen mellem kl. 10.00 - 19.00. Det var nogle gange svært at få en solvogn, specielt om eftermiddagen. Meget fint ophold, blev desværre syg imens jeg var der, men hotellet ringede til mig for at høre hvordan jeg havde det, det var en meget fin cervice.

I et lidt kedeligt kvarter ligger dette glimrende hotel. Kæmpe værrelse. God pool, dog mangler der lidt aktivitet for børnene, f.eks. en stor vandrutchebane. WiFi er ikke imponerende, men ellers er der alt man har brug for.
