Room was Ok. No restaurant, no breakfast. Ice maker didn't work but reception provided a bag so we didn't go without. Biggest gripe was that WiFi didn't work. Distinctly average hotel in not a very nice location.

I could smell the cigarette smoke in my room.

i really enjoyed my stay didnt really have to dine out we did a lot of cooking ourselves

It was nice, but a little scary. The pool area looked clean and ready to swim in, but it was a little chilly for use. We were able to check in early which was great because it was a wedding with an outside reception so we were able to go to the room after the ceremony and change for the outdoors. A cause for concern was when we were checking out the […] cabinets there was a can of bed bug spray. Not sure if this was left by the before occupants or the cleaning staff. We stayed on the first floor, but when it came time to sleep the floor above us was very noisy with running in the hall and the room above us was noisy also. You could here that very well. This hotel was very clean. We really enjoyed the extra room and the feeling of being home versus being in a hotel room.

Chose this hotel because of location. would like to say it was a great choice the staff were wonderful. the room was great. could not have asked for a better stay.

Have stayed here a few times and always enjoyed the hotel. Great size rooms and the kitchen makes it even better. Great place to stay!!!

Very clean and new hotel. The kitchen in the room is great and there is a lot of space in the room in general. Great place!!

This hotel met my requirements: clean, well kept, priced well. I do wish it had included a breakfast, but there was a Waffle House just down the street. The bed was fine, tho' just a tad less firm than my usual "hard". I slept well. Had the hotel been filled, it might have been a bit noisy, as I heard some voices in the hall at some point. We were surprised […] at the complete kitchen! Had I known, I would have done some of my Thanksgiving preparations there rather than at my host's home after we arrived. Loved our stay there! We made use of the swimming pool, outdoor grill, laundry room, and computer room. Everyone was very nice and accommodating. The room was very spacious and the four of us (my husband, our 2 children and myself) had plenty of room to move around in. It was centrally located to everything we wanted to see (Avery Island, Jungle Gardens, […] New Iberia and the Teche Museum. Overall, this hotel is just fine. The rooms are clean and nice. If you just need a place to sleep, I highly recommend it. Washing and drying your clothes is free, which is convenient in the Louisiana weather. Just be aware, there may be some issue with the staff. I phoned the front desk to inquire about a late check out (check out time is 11am) and […] she offered me until 12:30. Fine. I then mentioned that I would need transportation to the airport (30 minutes away). She informed me that the shuttle driver was off that day. Fine. I inquired about getting a taxi. Her response was, "I don't know how I would get that information for you." Fortunately, the hotel has free wireless so we Googled taxi information. About noon, the hotel called wondering why we hadn't checked out. I explained that we had arranged late check out. Then 15 minutes later, the same front desk person called to inquire why we hadn't checked out. I reminded her what we had agreed to just an hour ago. When I attempted to check out, I noticed that the card being used to pay for my bill was not the card I used. The reason I knew this was because I don't own that brand of card. I'm still not confident that my bill was paid correctly but I have the receipt. In any case, I would book this hotel again but do so directly and get my own transportation. Skaityti daugiau

We were so surprised at the sumptious rooms at Candlewood. The beds were so very comfy, and a full kitchen with granite countertops made us want to just move in! The room was large and nicely appointed. Extremely clean and nice. What a deal! We will always look for Candlewood Suites on our trips out of town.

I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. For the prices that they charge a night you should be able to have housekeeping clean your room every night instead of once a week. I feel that is also bad that you have to bring your dirty towels down to exchange for clean ones instead of housekeeping changing them for you. You also have to restock your condiments […] yourself. haben de Aufenthalt nach den typ. amerikan. Hotelzimmern sehr genossen.Es gab auch einen kleinen Shop für Lebensmittel, damit man die Küche so richtig ausnützen kann
