it was not what it was advertise to be. The resturant was at least 9 miles away on a dirt road..I paid 89 dollors for the room on the internet and then had to pay another 60 dollors to stay in the lodge.They said that when I booked the room. The lodge was nice, it is rustic and what I expected. The beds are not very comfortable and I had a sore back each morning. The staff was very nice and it was a nice weekend for hiking and swimming.

The hotel room itself was very charming and we were very happy with it. The complimentary breakfast was great as well. The complaint would be that we were a bit disappointed in the hotel's hot spring pools - We were expecting them to be a bit larger with possibly an outdoor pool. Other than that the stay was enjoyable.

This is way off the beaten path from HWY, save your time and money. Arrived at 8pm our room was not cleaned and ready for us, upgraded to suite, sheets dirty, given new room. Breakfast Minimal. Grounds unkept, hot springs not used because of person bleeding in them.

The front desk closed at 10, so had to get somebody's attention to check in around 11. We stayed in an out building, not the main lodge. The decor and condition was circa 1978. The layout of the room was horrible...the sink was next to the bed. It was not as advertised. The photos were generally a lie. Granted it was July 4th, people shot fireworks […] off in the parking lot until 1am. We were just passing through and needed the rest. We got up early to get on the road, and at 7am the promised breakfast wasn't ready and the front desk wasn't open to check out. We just had to leave the key with the guy setting up. Very nice large room with beautiful view of mountain and nice hot pools. Worth the long drive from McCall . Will be nicer when big blue oil company building is gone.

We became acquainted with this hotel because we bought a flight, hotel, and car rental together. There were no other hotels in the Missoula, MT., area available due to it being college graduation weekend. The trip up the mountain was tedious at times. We saw lots of wildlife, especially those running across the road. However, the rapid mountain streams […] were beautiful to watch, and the mountain air fresh and clean. We learned to drive defensively, and enjoy what was before us. We thought the hotel was a bit shabby at first. After taking a more "open-minded" look, we realized Lolo Hot Springs is quaint. It's supposed to be. Our room was very clean, and there were plenty of towels, pillows, blankets, etc. Note: You must request room service! At first, it was disappointing to realize that regular TV is only available in the lobby or bar/diner. You can check-out free, DVD classics from the lobby. Even if you have a hot spot for mobile computer access as I did, we cannot get a phone signal. There's no internet outside of bar/diner. This may be problematic for some. You are almost back in Lolo before the phone once again connects with tower. Ugh! Despite what may seem like "back hill" surroundings and amentities, the staff is super nice. The hotel is clean clean clean, and the mountain air and views are refreshingly spectacular. Take a break from your normal existence, unless your mountain born and raised, and just enjoy nature. The whole set up with the pool / lodge / and bar-restaurant is "PERFECT"...if...it were managed by the same person. The lodge is owned seperately from the restaurant and they DO NOT promote each other's businesses!! Very disappointed in the big picture that could be there! Otherwise, the food was good at the restaurant and the room at the lodge was […] FANTASTIC!! We could have camped out there for a week!! Real cute log cabiny theme...very relaxing and cozy. What a cozy setting for this hotel; tucked away in the wilderness. The accommodations are wonderful; so charming and decorated so nicely. The pools are perfect temperature. They have DVD and books to enjoy Great hiking in the area. .Ate at the restaurant and had a delicious meal.

Enjoyed our stay in the resort. Only drawback was a Techno music festival at the resort during the same weekend. Had we known, we would have booked some other place or some other time.

Trop éloigné de Missoula et de ses environs d'où limitation du choix pour se restaurer. Hôtel triste et vieillot qui donne un aspect non chaleureux et glauque au site.
