it was ok and the staff were friendly but the look and cleanliness of the hotel was what bothered me... I was there for 4 days and twice in those for days i was givien sheets with big dark yellow stains on the sheets and the bathroom could have been clean better.. Sinks wasnt really cleaned and neither was the rim of the tub.

WE HAD A PENTHOUSE ROOM...EXCELLENT VIEW AND LOCATION,,ROOM WAS CLEAN AND WELL EQUIPPED...TV PICTURE QUALITY COULD HAVE BEEN BETTER

Room rate was incredibly inexpensive for a hotel right on the beach. The room was perfectly clean and had a kitchenette with dishes and cookware. The only small complaint was the overcrowded parking situation since we arrived later in the evening. I would definitely consider staying here again!

THE HOTEL WAS FINE, YOU COULD TELL THAT IT WAS REMODELED BUT I DID NOT LIKE THAT WE WERE GIVEN A ROOM WITH THE ELEVATOR RIGHT OUTSIDE OUR DOOR, AND THE SERVICE PEOPLE WOULD COME AND GO AT ALL HOURS AND YELL BACK AND FORTH TO EACH OTHER. I CALLED TO SEE IF WE COULD GET ANOTHER ROOM BECAUSE WE NOTICED THAT FROM THE START BUT WERE TOLD IT WAS THE LAST […] ROOM LIKE THAT, WHICH WAS OCEANFRONT W/TWO QUEEN BEDS. BUT WE DIDN'T ENJOY THE OCEANFRONT PART EITHER BECAUSE WE WERE ON THE BOTTOM FLOOR, WHICH WOULD OF BEEN FINE BUT, OUR BALCONY OPENED UP TO THE POOL 5 FEET AWAY SO YOU COULDN'T SEE THE OCEAN VERY GOOD WITH THE FENCING AND ALL OF THAT STUFF AROUND THE POOL. My husband and I stayed here in the Coral building for our honeymoon. As we walked in I was scared to see what our room would look like as the elevator and halls were outdated when we walked in the room I was amazed had a nice tv a nice couch and a beautiful king sized bed and a balcony that you could see the ocean from. We had […] access to all 5 buildibgs ( 3 palmetto 2 Atlantica) which offered different pools hot tubs childrens pools and a lazy river as well as we were two steps to the beach! It was ok. We had a good time despite the weather. Windy, cool conditions made going on the beach not a priority for us.

Great location on the ocean within walking distance to several stores and restaurants. Parking was a nightmare being that you have to park in lots across the street. These lots were full when I arrived and I parked my car in the back lot until, upon walking.away from it, I saw a group of hoodlums start walking towards it and looking in the windows. […] I had to hit the panic button to make them scatter and then waited in my car for a spot to open up in the closer, safer parking lot. There was also a dead roach in the room when we first arrived, which I guess dead is better than alive, but still made me keep a constant eye on the floor all weekend. The hotel was great,but had to get my towels from the front desk 3 times out of a weeks stay.What i didn't like was the fact that the pools were not heated so could not enjoy the (heated)pool,when it was 60 some degrees outside and rained 4days of my stay.

Hotels.com advertised wifi: Not. Hotels.com advertised breakfast: Not. Hotel.com advertised certain amenities: Not. Oddly enough, the hotel told me that they advised Hotels.com not to book anyone there. All in all, the stay was a disaster but I got to play golf with my friends.

Great location but the room wasn't very clean. Had to request new bedding when we got there due to the sheets looking used, they had body hair all over them .Also had maint want to come tear up our shower for a leak somewhere else but we requested they wait until the next day because we were checking out.

My stay at Palmetto Shores was great. Everything was as described and my kids enjoyed themselves. The only issue I had was when I called for a rollaway bed, it took a little longer than expected. Other than that, my room was clean and ready when I checked in.

it was great the only thing was the parking lot it was small and shared with the hotel next door. everyone racing to get a parking spot if you leave your spot is gone from new comers.

People have high expectations for CHEAP hotels. It was right on the beach. Staff was more than friendly and it was close to everything. Room was clean and had a nice view. Room was clean, did not have washcloths in room when checked in called to request some didn't get. But I did run into someone cleaning another room and was able to get some. For the price not a bad place to stay. It was in good location close to sights and restaurants.It is a older facility but overall a decent place.

it was nice to have a toaster in the room but there was NO dishes. Not even a cup for the coffee. Did get some cups after we called. the carpet was dirty and there wa rust in the shower. I would not stay here again.

The resort was in a perfect spot. The rooms were small and the resort itself was a little rundown, but the price was unbelievable and the location was perfect. We were within walking distance of everything we wanted to do, area shops and resturaunts!

I really liked it but the beds were kind of small to be queens n i couldnt get the bathtub to fill up with water but other then that i liked it , it was clean and in a good area .

I had a double so the room was spacious, and clean with at a good price. I had a couple issues but didn't complain because only there for a night. No skillet, and room had a closed in odor like it had been closed in for a while. Besides that will stay again for the right price

This motel is close to alot of attractions and restaurants. A nice destination for an incredible value.

If you want to be beach front and there aren't any better options, this will do. A little out dated and small rooms. I was by myself on business so that wasn't a big deal. I got a really good deal, cheaper than anything else in the area so I was happy. I'm not picky, but if you are you might try finding something else.

We enjoyed the room, amenities and the closeness to the skywheel and boardwalk. Since this was a purely leisure trip the individual room not having WiFi was not an issue for us. WiFi was available in the lobby.

The room was affordable, clean, useful, and the location was only about a mile or so from Broadway at the beach. We had a side view of the ocean with a balcony, and we were very pleased.

We had a very pleasant stay. Room was comfortable. There was some outside noise, but not bad. The room was not cleaned between our two day stay, just left clean towels on the bed. We had to ask for more toilet paper and coffee. The price was well worth any little discomfort.

3 Adults for a 4 day weekend getaway in April. For the money we spent, it was an absolute deal. I would want improvements if we had been paying the high summer rates.Our room was clean enough, the staff was very helpful. It mean the kids went next door to the bigger pool and we had the small ones for just adults. The hotel did have some maintenance issues, but nothing major. My husband and I reserved the oceanfront room for our anniversary trip, and it was just as promised. The room was a nice size, and it had a kitchen as well. There were a lot of kids there for spring break so it was a little noisy outside, but we couldn't really hear it from our room. The staff was nice and helpful with anything we needed. I just wanted a place to spend some romantic time alone with no kids. I got what I wanted. The staff was friendly. If you needed anything it didn't take to long for the house keeping staff to bring it to your room. I did have a side view but it was still wonderful view. I would stay here again.

It is a nice but mature hotel in need of some modernization. No Wi-Fi in guest rooms would cause me to think twice about staying here again. Overall we had a pleasant experience. Theresa at the front desk was a great ambassador for the hotel. She went out of her way to accommodate us and make our stay more enjoyable. Very pleasant stay. Reception staff the most welcoming I've come across in some time. Nice location on the beach and close to town. There were some minor mice issues with the room (falling towel racks and stubborn tub drain). I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.
