A new hotel. Great sound proofing, quiet heating, comfortable beds, good hot breakfast with lots of choice included. Clean, quiet, comfortable, with helpful staff. Did not even hear the winds from hurricane Sandy as it passed. Locale was suburban with car dealerships and chain restaurants so OK. We were driving to a location out of town and not seeing […] Chatham so immediate locale did not matter to us. Bed was good, but firm. Great choice of pillows. Mold had begun to appear on the tile around the tub and I reported it to the front desk. Nice and quiet. Great breakfast. Great recommendation for restaurant for evening meal. Did not use workout facility or pool.

This was like staying in a hotel 10 years ago. The floor I stayed on contained BOTH smoking and non-smoking rooms, which meant the ENTIRE hallway reeked of smoke. The air conditioning unit rattled when on (I turned it off so I could sleep). The toilet took a VERY long time to stop running after flushing. Time to get into the 21st century. I have had some unfortunate experiences with Holiday Inn in the past- dirty rooms, aging decor and furniture, barely courteous staff. Not so in Chatham...while the new building may have had something to do with it, in addition, the staff were friendly and courteous and surprise, breakfast was complimentary. ("Surprise" because I had spent two minutes […] on the phone when booking the room trying to get breakfast included in the price without success.) An enjoyable stay. Located right beside the new Chatham Convention center. Made for a great, easy stay while we were at the convention center. Parking is plentiful. The rooms are clean. Close to the 401. Will stay there again.

Only concern was the CP rail line that runs behind the hotel. Our room faced the tracks. For our stay it was not an issue.

Very nice staff, clean rooms and the games room was fun for an overnight stay with my . child. Nice and clean pool area as well. Breakfast was good for the money

Fitness room is terrible. Not one weight or piece of resistance equipment. A/C didnt work in two seperate rooms and it was only 17degrees out Would not stay there again but usually love the Holiday Inn chain of hotels

Ideal stopover if driving across the border. No complaints. Just don't expect do to much in the vicinity.

I prefer Holiday Inn express as they have very consistent service and rooms. There were no weights in the fitness room but the cardio equipment was very good...no hot tub.

The Holiday Inn Express & Suites Chatham South has been our accomodation of choice since it opened. As long as the rates remain competive and the staff are so helpful we will continue to stay there.

Just beautiful and comfortable hotel. The fresh pancakes in the breakfast was a nice touch. I just gathered a few breakfast items and brought them up to my room and had a nice breakfast on the couch in my comfy beautiful room. Stand up glass shower was great as well.
