The owner of Beechwood is very nice and accommodating. The room is a bit tight and cozy, but very nice. We had a shower ensuite. It's a bit of a walk with luggage (maybe 4 blocks?) from the metro station, but a straight shot. It's close to the beach.

This was a very nice guest house in south shields, the breakfast was very nice and MR Rez was friendly and welcoming. The guest house is lovely and clean and well maintained. My sister and I really enjoyed our stay, We will stay again in the future.

From the moment you arrived the owner made you feel very welcome. He was very attentive and made sure that he was there for any advice so as to enhance your stay. The room I was given was an enhanced "superior" room. lovely b&b in a great location , simple metro system for commuting and visiting to newcastle , sunderland and the angel of the north. Accommodation spotless and host very pleasant and friendly breakfast was lovely. Great location surrounded by bars and restaurants ( MOSTLY CURRY HOUSES ) but there is the odd chinese and italian restaurants .

my hotel experience was excellent. it was in a prime location, near the metro an bus services. the owner was extremely nice and helpful an informed us of easy ways to get around the city. the breakfast was superb an the service exceptional. made for a very pleasant stay and i would definately stay there again an would recommend it to a friend.

This is an exceptionally clean and well maintained hotel. It is decorated beautifully. The breakfast was prepared for us by the very pleasant owner. It was delicious and filling. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a wonderful stay close to train, town, and beach.

We stayed at the guesthouse for two nights when we recently went to the northeast for a funeral. Rez the manager was extremely helpful and could not do enough for us. We had a small double room as the larger one had already gone. The room had everything you'd require, free wifi, kettle, tea bags, coffee, milk, biscuits and a fridge. There was a TV and […] hairdryer, an iron was available on request. The bathroom was an ensuite shower, sink and toilet. The only downside to the room was it's size and the stairs you had to climb to get to it. If you are handicapped or very elderly, it would not suit you. The location is ideal being handy for the seafront and the town centre. Across the road are a row of restaurants and two pubs. Finding somewhere to eat is not a problem. Towards the town centre is a Morrison's supermarket where a reasonable meal could be obtained. Parking is on the street in front of the guest house and during the day places are easy enough to find. At night when people start frequenting the restaurants, places can be harder to find. Overall we were very pleased with the guesthouse and would stay there again Skaityti daugiau

Ein fabelhaftes B&B Gästehaus. Der Eigentümer war super immer hilfsbereit, nett, lustig einfach spitze. Das Frühstück ein Traum lecker und reichlich. Unser Zimmer total niedlich, sauber und gepflegt hatte alles was man braucht. Die Lage dieses super Gästehauses war ebenfalls Klasse. Zum Strand ca. 10 Min zu Fuß und in die City ca 15 Min. Op 11 februari 2012 om 22.15 uur waren wij bij Beechwood Guest House te South Shields England. Wij konden niet incheken en wij moesten buiten op straat wachten. Wij belden de receptie op. De receptie zei tegen ons dat wij te laat waren en dat wij naar een ander hotel moesten gaan zoeken. Dezelfde ochtend waren wij al langs deze guest house gekomen en […] toen zei de receptie dat wij "at any time" konden inchecken.Wij wisten ook dat de kamer al betaald was en dat bij late aankomst onze kamer gegarandeerd was. Dit laatste punt stond in de e-mail van expedia betreffende de reis bevestiging. Na een lang en uitermate vervelend telefoongesprek in de nacht met de receptie konden wij uiteindelijk incheken na langer dan half uur buiten wachten. Het comfort van da kamer was teleurstellend. El dueño del hotel es muy amable, el desayuno perfecto, se puede elegir entre desayuno completo (huevos, alubias, salchicha...) o lo que quieras, tipo tostadas con mermelada, cereales... El hotel está un poco lejos de Newcastle, pero el metro está cerca del hotel 5 min. caminando y en metro en 30 min. estás en el centro. El hotel es muy limpio. Calidad-precio […] es perfecto.
