Suburban Extended Stay Hotel Longview - Longview

I had an issue with a person at the front desk. This created a billing error on my credit card. I was assured this would be taken care of by the hotel but after over a week this was not done. My credit card handled this matter and the issue is now resolved.

We enjoyed our stay for the most part but was horrified to find human feces in the sheets after staying the night. When we took the sheets to the manager said he would change our sheets and did nothing else. We should not have expected a clean room and should have checked it out before sleeping. Oh well. I was trying to get out the door with the luggage […] carrier. No other people were around and my husband was getting the car. The building was new and clean. The staff were very nice and helpful. Location was good and quiet. Only thing I didn't like was bathroom in our room and the main elevator has a cigarette smoke smell. Our floor was smoke free I think but the smoke permeated in the bathrooms.

This was a great quick stay on out way from West Texas to New Orleans. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a clean quiet place to stay.

We had eight rooms and our stay was perfect. The staff was extremely helpfull and very friendly. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Great hotel. Nice friendly staff & comfortable rooms. For the price, location and the exercise room, it can't be beat. The price makes it the best choice when having to make a decision about the larger hotel chains & the hotel is relatively new as well. Very comfortable bed, close to all restaurants, mall & hospital. This is our second time to stay […] at this hotel & we will continue to stay at this hotel. Also, the hotel has a little store on the premises to purchase items. This is a new building and has not had time to get run down. but cleaning needs to report all issues they see or it will only take a short time. as it is cheeply built.

WE GOT THERE AND THE ROOM HAD A LOOSE SHOWER CURTAIN. THE FRONT DESK CLERK MOVED US TO ANOTHER ROOM IMMEDIATLY!!!! SHE THEN CALLED US ABOUT 5 MINS AFTER WE CHANGED ROOMS TO SEE IF EEVRYTHING WAS GOOD!!! WE WOULD RECOMEND THIS HOTEL TO ANYONE NEEDING A ROOM IN THE LONGVIEW AREA. WE WILL STAY THERE MANY TIMES TO COME

I booked this hotel on my recent trip to Longview to visit family for Christmas. It was merely blocks away from my family, as well as pretty much anything else you would need. I arrived very late, around 2am and the staff was very happy despite the late hours. My first floor room had very tall ceilings which made it feel much more spacious than the […] average hotel room. The hotel and room were a good value. The staff I met were friendly and helpful. However, I was supposed to have daily maid service to make the beds and change the towels. This only occurred on the first morning of my visit and the bed was poorly made on that occasion.

Very nice staff, made my family feel welcomed. The room was comfortable, clean and equipped with everything we needed from kitchenette to a comfortable bed to an LG flat screen. The hotel was very near most of the area's shopping, restaurants and entertainment. My 2 yr old daughter and I stayed here overnight while passing through TX. If one is traveling on I-20 as we were, it's a few minutes away from the exit ramp, but it's close to restaurants, gas stations, and Walmart. As another Expedia traveler mentioned, this hotel was built in 2011; it's gorgeous inside and out. I loved our bathroom's nicely-sized […] tub/shower combo (great for relaxing after a day of driving), and the bed was comfy. I didn't hear any noise from rooms beside or above us. I'd bought seafood in FL and fresh frozen veggies in MS that I'd been keeping in a cooler for our return to OK, and it worked out quite conveniently the hotel's rooms come w/full-size fridges (extra bonus!). The Suburban Extended Stay in Longview, TX, was a great find for us on a two-day, one-night stay to meet our son who had just relocated there but hadn't yet moved into his house. It was our first time to stay in a Suburban hotel. This hotel is very new, so everything appeared in mint condition, and the manager obviously takes pride in keeping it that […] way. The staff we met were all friendly and welcoming. Our bed was very comfortable, the kitchenette quite convenient, and the hotel was very pleasant. The pool was small, but the exercise room spacious. It's located on the edge of the city, and the area felt fairly safe and quiet overall, though not in a really attractive area--it's more commercial with just other other hotels and restaurants, mostly. However, it is set far enough from the main highway to keep it more private. This is a new property, and is in great shape and in a great location -- close to major roads and restaurants. The front desk staff were particularly helpful, professional, and courteous.

The place was clean and loved the kitchenette.. Customer service reps were nice.. the only thing was, there is no breakfast... the items for boxed cereal was $1.00. Excellent value! Brand new and well set up! We had a queen effiency unit and it was like a little apartment. Modern decor, flat screen tv, nice kitchenette w/ 2 burner stove, microwave, fridge, cabinets and still some counter space. We were only there for 2 nights but if I had a reason for an extended stay hotel I would definitely choose this one!
