Location of the Hotel is a great plus point. The hotel staff are friendly though some are not conversant in English.

the receptionist must speak English. the kitchen was closed, only breakfast? the food area for breakfast has a lot of insects and flys. the free shuttle was not available. I was asked to walk ( in a very rude manner) when I requested the shuttle.

We stayed at this hotel thinking that it would be a nice break from the beaches. Total mistake - it was too far from the centre of town. Also, hotel staff don't know the area and cannot offer much help. Please don't make the same mistake we did. The hotel itself is amazing with all the vibrant colours. It looks like a newly refurbished hotel as i can still smell the paint. The room itself is spacious and very metro looking. The place itself is new along with all its furnishing and facilities. The buffet breakfast was not the best but still pretty decent. Only minor thing about the location […] was that it was located in the middle of a massive intersection on one of the busiest major roads. There is no walk ways to get around so your only option is hire a tuk tuk or a taxi. This can be very expensive as it is quite far from any attractions or anything remotely interesting to do. Only thing is that it is close to a big shopping center with free tuk tuk service over. On the way back you will need to walk. Around the hotel area there isnt much local stores that serves lunch or dinner. This was particularly bad when the hotel was not serving dinner or lunch. Skaityti daugiau

The hotel is situated near the edge of town beside a very busy road, there was a lot of noise from cars throughout the night and some construction work started early morning. The place is good as a one night stop over as we used it, unluckily there were no nice places to eat nearby and the nearest convenience store was more than 500m from the hotel […] in a very busy road. Jag och min son bodde på Dara 1 natt efter sjukhusvistelse. Tuktuk hämtade oss på sjukhuset samt att den även körde oss till Central Festival.Härliga färgglada rum. Suverän frukost i trevlig miljö vid poolen. Fräscht och snyggt, trevligt o litet hotell. Mysigt. Bodde först 1 natt på Metropole som vi lämnade för att vi ej stod ut där. Jag och min flickvän bodde där två nätter innan vi skullle flyga hem och för det syftet var hotellet perfekt. Nära ett stort shoppingcenter men långt ifrån allt annat kändes det som. Taxin därifrån var väldigt dyr jämfört med övriga ställen vi varit på och området runt hotellet bjuder bara på en hårt trafikerad väg. När vi kom in på rummet var det lerigt på golvet vid dörren. Rummet var inte alls trevligt. Det kändes smutsigt och fult. Vi hade i alla fall en stor balkong men eftersom hotellet ligger precis bredvid en stor väg så finns det ingen fin utsikt att njuta av. Hotellet ligger lite avsides så deras service med gratis skjuts in till stan är bra. Synd att […] man bara kan hämtas upp fram till kl 21:00 för vi hade svårt att få en taxi. Personalen var trevlig. Hotellet er helt greit for en natt. Da jeg kom inn på rommet så luktet det maling/fukt blanding noe som ikke hvar så komfertabelt. De ansatte ga meg heller ikke den wake up call de haddet lovet meg. Sengen var hard men helt grei. Internett hvar også noe hakkete. Det eneste positivet jeg kann si er vell at det ligger rett ved Central Festival Kjøpesenter. […] Hotellet har også gratis tuk tuk dit bare husk å bestille transport tilbake i resepsjonen. Wie reisen seit nun mehr 2 Wochen durch Thailand und buchen unsere Hotels immer recht kurzfristig über Expedia, was immer hervorragend klappt und gestützt durch die Kundenbeurteilungen finden wir meist auch Hotels, die ein gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis haben. Jetzt zu diesem Hotel: das Frühstück ist ok aber trotzdem das schlechteste, das wir bis […] jetzt hatten. Die Sauberkeit ist soweit gegeben, die dusche haben wir allerdings nur mit Flip-Flops betreten wollen. die Lage am Rande der Stadt quasi auf einer großen Verkehrsinsel, die keinen Bürgersteig bereithält und jede Straßenüberquerung zu einem abenteuer macht, konnte nur noch getoppt werden vonn der Baustelle neben dem Hotel. Ich habe probiert beides auf Fotos festzuhalten... natürlich ist die Baustelle nur temporär, dennnoch soll sie nicht unerwähnt bleiben. Meine Empfehlung für Phuket ist entweder ein Hotel richtig in der Stadt ohne vorher 20min Fußweg zuhaben oder direkt an einen der Strände. Skaityti daugiau

Отель DARA расположен рядом с основными торговыми центрами Пхукета - Cenral Festival, Big C, Tesco Lotus и пр. В номере шумновато от расположенной рядом дороги, но во дворе очень уютный бассейн с садиком. Номера (особенно Junior и Luxe) очень просторные, дизайн симпатичный, но при заезде пол не был помыт (песок). Завтрак неплохой. Отель хорош для тех, […] кто решил пошопиться во время отдыха на острове, ведь это занимает много времени, так что можно сходить в отель и поспать в обед. Hotellets läge är väl inte det bästa. Svårt med att hitta någonstans att äta. Hotellet har stängt middag o mat på kvällen. Rummen var underbara och snygga. Bra service i receptionen. Men det är långt in till centrum av Phuket. Fin pool och ett ställe att koppla av på.

住在这个酒店目的就是购物。去了之后发现真的很方便。走去CENTRAL才5分钟。不错不错。不过要是去市中心的地方就比较远了。我们是从pp岛回来之后入住的，最后的行程就是购物，所以也没有去其他地方。 酒店里面还蛮漂亮，早晨一般。外面环境一般，有一块地在兴建。我们定的搞活动的套房，性价比很高。推荐给喜欢购物的姑娘。

Très joli hôtel, design, coloré, très bien aménagé avec belle piscine. Chambre vaste, moderne, très jolie et confortable, avec beau balcon. Très bon petit déjeuner. Hôtel situé un peu a l'extérieure de Phuket town ( 25 minutes a pied du centre ville ) mais a côté d'un grand centre commercial avec plein de boutiques et de restaurants. One of Asia's top 100 design hotel ? Modern outlooks but furnishings are shabby. Compared to ohters Phuket town hotels, it has no merit to double pay.
