We had a very enjoyable stay at the Babbling Brook Guest House. Excellent location, close to the centre of Keswick. The room was clean and spacious with good views (if your room happens to be on the top floor!). The owner was friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was very nice; plenty of choice. Would certainly consider staying here again.

clean and tidy. 2 min walk to town centre. lovely cooked breakfast with quality produce. only issue some people may have is that it is next to the main road going through keswick.

excellent, room very nice & clean, breakfast v.good. Friendly owners made us feel so welcome.The picture on the web site does not do the place justice. It is lovely inside. Would definatley stay again.

This hotel has an exceptional location, just five minutes from the centre of keswick. It is clean and comfortable with a generous breakfast. The best thing about Babbling Brook is the friendly owners who really made my stay a pleasure. Paul's enthisiasm for running, traithlon, travel and climbing is a real bonus!

Welcoming host, cosy and clean room. We shared a bathroom with one other which was fine for us as we only stayed one night. Short walk to town centre and lovely walks.

The location of this property was great. I just wish we could have stayed more than 1 night. We drove the lakes district during the day and stayed 1 night at the Guest House. We arrived late in the afternoon and we found parking to be at a premium, we did manage to find a car park up the road though free for the night. The room was very comfortable, […] only issue was the several flights of stairs to the room (no real problem unless stairs are an issue for you). The breakfast was fantastic as well. While the hosts are exceptionally friendly and helpful, I can't rate this B&B highly. It is on a very busy street and is thus noisy. The room was small with a very tiny bath. There was no hairdryer. The breakfast coffee was instant, not brewed. We paid a decent price for the room and expected more.

a lovely B&B about 2 mins walk from the town centre. The owner was a cracking bloke who could not do enough, and took a personal interest in each of the guests and what they had planned. If you like family ran places with a good personal touch this is a great place to stay. I may have given the Babbling Brook more 5 out of 5s had the radiator not broken or if it weren't for the roadworks outside. This was a gorgeous little guesthouse, the owners made us feel very welcome, and the breakfast was great. Only a five min walk into town too.

Really good central location, good for walking, cycling and wandering around the village. Cosy and clean rooms and lovely owners. Definitely recommended!

Von außen zwar etwas unscheinbar- sieht eher aus wie ein sehr schönes Cafe. Aber von innen sehr schön. Zimmer sind zwar nicht groß aber vollkommen ausreichend und sehr schön eingerichtet. Das Hotel liegt ca 5 Gehminuten vom Ortkern entfernt. Ca. 10 Gehminuten von einem See, von dem aus man einen grandiosen und typischen Lake District Blick hat.
