We booked the hotel for a two night Hogmany/Newyear break.Upon arrival we were informed that the hotel was going to be closed for the New Year but they would allow us to stay for Hogmany then we would have to leave the next day, his despite my checking twice the day before that everything was ok. We booked a dinner the night we arrived.This was dreadful.The […] starter pate was obviously a supermarket bought slab. The main course was Baked??? fillet steak and extremely over cooked along with re-heated vegetables. No true chef did this,I should point out that this hotel restaurent was billed as THE place to dine in Rosshire.I think not. Rooms very dated, bathroom shocking with no heating and a shower hanging half way down the bath that did not work. Can't fault the waitress who was left to look after us in the morning. The bedroom was in poor condition. The toilet had a leak from the outflow, in the bedroom ceiling there was a very ugly stain where water had been leaking in from the roof. The bed was not very comfortable, and there was no mattress cover. The shower temperature could not be controlled as the control handle was missing, the temperature as set was too […] hot, almost unbearably so. Slightly tired old hotel with good food, charm and welcoming staff.

Staff very helpfull, food was good, but hotel was shabby, booked room with shower got one with bath, moved to room with shower on second night but there was no water preasure. Thought it was in Dingwall as it said high street Dingwall but it was about two mile away.

Was looking to stay at Inverness but prices were sky high. This is a small country inn with rooms. The room was clean and tidy and ideal for one night. Service was friendly and polite with customer being made to feel welcome.

Not the best of stays.I had booked a room with shower but when I arrived none were available.The staff were nice , the food was good but the decor of the hotel is very worn and tired.It needs a good lick of paint and a lot of modernisation

I expected the hotel to be located in Dingwall, as advertised. This hotel is at Conon Bridge, a tiny village 2-3 miles out side Dingwall and without a car, a bus service is the only transport available. There is no train connection at Conon Bridge. The staff was adament that the hotel was in Dingwall as advertised so we started off on the wrong foot. […] As it turned out, the Conon Bridge locals were extremely hospitable and the local pub across the street an entertainment. Small friendly Hotel in nice location. Room was average for the price but the star feature of this place was the food. I had the best rump steak I've had in years!

This palce is not recommended. We arrived late and left early. The shower is a shared bathroom and I could not control the water temperture when trying to shower. The towel they give you is barely bigger than a wash cloth. The soap bar is the size of a marble. We left too early for breakfast, but they told us they would leave sandwiches for us to take […] with us - this did not happen. Room was small and noisy. Beds small and uncomfortable. globalement neutre. le staff est top, gentil etc. Les chambres sont propres, mais vieilles, moches et inconfortables. Dans une chambre pour couple, il y a une baignoire sans pommeau de douche et sinon il y a une douche commune à l'hôtel. Le wifi dont on peut profiter gratuitement dans n'importe quelle auberge de jeunesse bon marché est ici payant ! […] Le matelas, les oreillers, bref la literie est elle aussi de qualité "auberge de jeunesse". Hotellet motsvarade inte våra förväntningar på ett 3 stjärnigt Hotell. Enkla rum o badrum. Maten var utmätkt.

Hotellet er meget nedslidt - selv for et kun trestjernet hotel. Sengen var OK - pæn og ren. Badeværelset er ikke værd at skrive hjem om, selv om det opfyldte de basale behov. Maden i restauranten (aftenmåltidet) var midelmådig og det hjemmelavede islæt begrænsede sig måske i nogen grad til at betjene håndtaget på fryseren.

Nous avons séjourné dans cet hotel, mais quelle déception nous espérons que les autres hotels de votre gamme sont meilleurs ! tout d'abord, l'adresse n'est pas bonne ... c'est dans le village d'à côté, heureusement, la police est sympa Arrivés, la serrure de la porte de notre chambre était cassée on a du réparer les rideaux pour pouvoir les fermer (pas […] de volets) un lavabo dans un coin, mais sans rideau salle de bain et WC sur le palier, mais pas en bon état même la porte ne fermait pas, et douche froide, enchevêtrement de fils électriques dangereux on a retrouvé le reveil et la télécommande sous un lit mieux vaut ne pas parler de l'état de la moquette et aussi le bar : bière chaude et éventée ! et la laverie immonde enfin, ce n'est pas à conseiller. Las habitaciones no tenian ducha a pesar de indicar que tenia un baño en suite (la banera no disponia de ducha debiendo ducharte en una ducha comun). En todo el hotel solo hay 3/4 habitaciones con ducha lo cual actualmente no es normal en un hotel de esta calidad/precio,

El colchón era incomodísimo, lleno de muelles que sobresalían y se te clavaban en la espalda. Además el personal era bastante antipático en general.

Preis-Leistungsverhältnis angemessen, war für uns schwer zu finden. Lag für unsere Fahrt sehr günstig, die Ortsangabe Dingswall ist verwirrend, da das Hotel in einem Vorort(?)/Nachbarort in Conon liegt. Sehr nettes Service, wie überall in Schottland. Die Ausstattung (Fön, Adapter, Schließanlage) könnte verbessert werden.

Conon Bridge Hotel is your standard hotel/pub type accomodation, clean, neat and roomly. Hearty breakfast. What makes it stand out is the service. We had car problems, and the whole hotel, from manager to chef where engaged in helping us out and getting us back on the road the next morning. After a terrible night on side of the road they fixed us […] dinner way after closing time, gave us a friendly welcome, started making phone calls and got everything sorted out.
