Our room was slightly larger than usual, extremely clean and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent, huge cookies available on arrival and throughout the evening, icewater with lemon, tea, coffee and doughnuts in the lobby 24/7, elevators and luggage trolleys are very convenient. This is a great hotel with the personal touch.

My mother and I stayed at the Microtel after loading a moving truck and before driving it the next day. The staff were courteous and knowledgeable. The entire hotel was very, very clean. The room was well-appointed and an excellent value. I only have three qualms that are more personal preferences. One - the pillows were too soft and floofy and did […] not provide enough support. Two - I would have preferred a heavier comforter. And three - the lighting was a little too hospital-room over-top of the bed. HOWEVER! Do not let these nitpicks sway you from booking this hotel. This is a new property, with a very cheerful and helpful staff. The rooms are small, but no space is wasted... Very clean, and extra pillows, towels and blankets are but a request away! Has all the amenities except a pool & gym (and who of us REALLY use those facilities, anyway?) Great choices in the breakfast area, which doesn't "close with a bang" […] at 10 AM. I will be back! It was really great. We will be heading back to Rochester in the Summer but won't be staying at this hotel only because there is not a pool. I really loved the hotel though!!

We booked this hotel based on previous reviews we read of the cleanliness and affordable price. The room was excellent and just what we needed for a quick 1 night stay.Staff was friendly and professional, and the breakfast in the lobby was adequate for it being free and a small hotel. Hotel is set back off the main road, newer but hard to find if your not looking hard. Typical hotel nothing fancy. Rooms are small and decorated weird. Not bad for a pinch.

we have stayed here many times and each time we love the place. It is always clean and hospitable. the ice water and cookies are nice too. If I had one complaint it would be the extra blanket we asked for...it was kind of pilled and didn't look very nice, but that is all. I would highly recommend this motel to anyone staying in the Rochester area.

The Chili-Rochester Microtel lived up to all the review I had read prior to booking. The staff couldn't have been nicer, and every staff member was efficient and competent in the services each offered. Despite the slushy snow, the floors were always clean and dry, as were the carpeted hallways.The room was clean, comfortable and warm (the heater worked […] extremely well!). Cookies at the front desk were a nice touch, as were doughnuts, coffees, tea and hot chocolate. The continental breakfast choices were filling. The location was perfect for us. As we have relatives and business to do in Rochester, we do come back, and we will most likely come back to the Microtel. It is a great value, and we highly recommend it! I stayed at the hotel for 6 days and found every thing to be very clean and well cared for The only thing that would would have made the stay a little bit better would have been more storage for clothes, but most people do not stay that lengthy of time. The hotel provides an excellent value for the money and I would not hesitate to recommend it.

the room was everything I needed, clean with a comfy bed, I even liked the fact that the room was on the small side. The hotel looked as it had just been built. The exercise facilities were very neat and the equipment was well maintained (also looked new). The room was small, but worked for what I needed. I stayed in a single queen and was very comfortable. The facilities were all very neat and clean.

The surrounding area and neighborhood is very nice, not too urban and busy. Close to shops, gas stations and food establishments. Hotel was very clean, organized and front desk staff was professional and friend. I highly recommend this particular location...Luvtecia--the general manager-- was excellent....

The room was quite small, but I was the only guest, so I was comfortable. It wouldn't be enough room for two people though. But the bed was great and the decor was fresh and modern. Arrived at 330am and could not find an employee to check in. Was offered breakfast items by the employee after we found them. No wonder pastries offered daily were stale if they are put out before 330am for breakfast starting at 6am. All three mornings breakfast items did not seem to be restocked after 9am. Not a great selection. Our room had strong […] smell of paint. Realize that hotel is fairly new but this made it really difficult to stay in room. Neighbor in the hall stated in elevator that they had to go buy a candle due to the smell. Price was reasonable but very difficult to find staff. Could not get new coffee for room as the desk clerk said the front desk items had not been restocked. Admit that traveling in the middle of the night was taxing but circled around twice to find entrance as a fair or festival was setting up making it difficult for a first time guest to navigate enterance. Check in was smooth and the staff friendly. The room design was perfect. The only recommendation i have is to include a table lamp or two. They can use CFLs too and are more ambient.
