This hotel was adequate for my needs since it was close to my meeting locations, but it isn't convenient to most of the things one would want to see in Porto Alegre. There is a park across the street for exercising. There are no ATMs in the area that accept foreign cards, but there is a currency exchange office in a shopping center about 4 blocks from […] the hotel. Rate included a very good breakfast , wifi (which was good although it slowed down mid afternoon). Room included a microwave and mini-fridge, which is convenient if you need to do some work in your room or want to minimize restaurant costs. My two major complaints were a) the traffic noise, and b) mold in the shower grout. To avoid the noise, request a room that faces the back of the building (I was in 510; 511 also faces front of building) and be sure that the balcony door closes completely to further block noise. Ao chegar no Hotel a atendente não achava minha reserva. O hotel merece uma reforma, caiu muito a qualidade das instalações.

Ao chegarmos no hotel fomos atendidos na recepção por uma atendente em treinamento que não sabia absolutamente de nada que estava fazendo, não tinha ninguém superior dela lá ou ao menos um colega de trabalho. Fomos atendidos e muito mal por sinal pelo mensageiro do hotel, chamado Régis, que acessou o balcão de atendimento e nos atendeu. Além de extremamente […] mal humorado, nem nos deu bom dia. Deu impressão de que queria mostrar serviço e "zombar" da atendente em treinamento. Em relação ao quarto, as toalhas são horríveis, não enxuga.
