    Yingge Shopping District is famous for Yingge ceramics. The entire area was carefully planned and developed into a ceramic art shopping district that covers Yuying Street and Jianshanpu Road. Its distinctive theme makes it one of New Taipei City's most unique shopping areas. Visit Yingge and buy some beautiful and delicate ceramics to take back home with you. You'll find local Yingge ceramics shops in Yingge Shopping District, giving you the opportunity to see how the ceramics are made and then fired in the kiln.

    Fu Jen Catholic University, a higher education institution located in the Xinzhuang District of New Taipei City, hosts a large number of students. The university has become more accessible since the introduction of the MRT. Taking advantage of the crowds and convenience, this shopping district targets college students as its main customers. In this vibrant university shopping district, you'll find many inexpensive snack options along with shops selling student supplies, electronics, eyewear, household essentials, and much more. Fu Jen University is a well-known and popular campus with amazing views of New Taipei City. 

    Every Christmas, you'll see the campus lit up by Christmas lights, attracting many outside visitors who come to experience the magical atmosphere. If you decide to visit the campus of Fu Jen University, you should take some time to explore the nearby shopping district as well. This area becomes pretty lively and crowded in the afternoon when students finish their classes. You'll encounter large crowds of college students on Jianguo 1st Road and Zhongzheng Road.     Jinshan Old Street

    Jinshan District in New Taipei City is a small city dating back over 300 years. Jinbauli Street, a street that has been around since the Qing Dynasty, has witnessed many ups and downs. Now redeveloped and revitalised, it is known as Jinshan Old Street. You'll soon see why Jinshan has managed to regain its prosperity when you pay a visit. By laying quality paving, building car parks, improving the cleanliness of the shopping area and encouraging shop owners to incorporate design concepts into their products, this place has been successfully transformed into a popular shopping district. 

    Jinshan Old Street is a great place to buy local products and souvenirs. The entire street is filled with souvenir shops, where you'll find shop owners busy greeting customers, selling local Jinshan products such as sweet potato chips, peanut rice crispy, brown sugar cake, one-bite pastries and much more. There are also shops selling fruits, sweet potatoes and white bamboo shoots. After 3 centuries of development, the old street has been revived by the influx of visitors. You can buy many local and agricultural products in Jinshan Old Street. Don't worry about buying too many things and not being able to take them back home with you.     Wulai Old Street

    Wulai Old Street in Wulai District, New Taipei City, is an attractive and well-planned shopping district. The shop signs are uniformly designed, and the pedestrian zone features high-quality paving. Having undergone extensive redevelopment, Wulai Old Street is now one of the most popular shopping districts in New Taipei City, with a wide variety of places to eat and shop. Wulai Old Street is dominated by Wulai Street. However, the mountain ring roads and Pubu Road nearby are also part of the shopping district. 

    Come to Wulai for the hot springs, then head to Wulai Old Street for a spot of shopping and buy some wonderful local and agricultural products from Wulai to take back with you. The main attraction of Wulai Old Street is the indigenous culture. Almost every shop sells local native products to attract customers. Conveniently located close to Taoyuan International Airport, MITSUI Outlet Park attracts travellers from all over the world in search of a bargain. It’s easily accessible as you only need to take the Taoyuan Airport MRT to Linkou Station, followed by a 5-minute walk.

    Yonghe Shopping District is located in Yonghe District, New Taipei City, where you can experience a bustling vibe as soon as you step outside Dingxi Station. Densely populated, this place was originally a bustling area of Yonghe District. The introduction of the MRT opened up new business opportunities, allowing the area to develop into Yonghe Shopping District as it is today. At the centre of Yonghe Shopping District is MRT Dingxi Station. 

    Nearby Zhongxing Street is commonly known as "Korean Street" because, in the early days, many merchants came here from Shandong to sell imported Korean products and gradually shaped this place into a shopping area with a real Korean flavour. When visiting Yonghe Shopping District, check out the extensive range of Korean cosmetics, clothes, accessories, skincare products and food in Zhongxing Street. Head for nearby Bo’ai Art Street and join in the fun with the crowds at Lehua Night Market at nightfall. The so-called dusk market is a market that opens in the afternoon and closes in the evening. For office workers, this is a great place to buy fresh ingredients after work for cooking. Conveniently located close to the train station, Xizhi Xiufeng Market has been in operation for many years and has become the icon for dusk markets for the people of Xizhi. 

    Xizhi Xiufeng Market is a great place to experience the vitality of Xizhi District. Traders display fresh vegetables, fish and meat while the customers linger between the different stalls, looking for ingredients to cook that evening. It's fun to watch people haggling and asking for discounts in this buzzing and dynamic market.     Xinzhuang Temple Street Night Market, located in the Xinzhuang District of New Taipei City, spans Xinzhuang Road, Xintai Road, Jingde Road and Bijiang Street. It is a lively shopping district that opens during the day and becomes a night market after the sun goes down. There are many shops selling clothes, accessories and shoes, making this the ideal place for locals to kit out their wardrobes. The reason why this shopping district is called "Temple Street" is that there are many temples nearby. Since Xinzhuang was an important port in the old days, ancestors reclaimed this area and built many temples. The temples scattered throughout this area are all in close proximity to one another, creating a unique streetscape. 

    Because there are so many temples in the shopping district, temple celebrations provide plenty of opportunities for business. During important rituals and celebrations, many pilgrims flood into the area, giving local businesses a welcome boost. Filled with the beating of gongs and drums that echo in the sky, Xinzhuang Temple Street Night Market is unique among the shopping districts of New Taipei City thanks to its close proximity to the temples.
