Mindo Real

Lots of plants and animals to view in their environment. While beautiful, it does seem the area is overgrown and could use a 'trim' of vegetation - at least in/around the walkways and public traffic areas. The staff were very kind and helpful - good, 'hefty' (and tasty!) breakfast to keep going all day. Very nice family-run place - with a bit more landscaping maintenance and some touch-ups in the rooms, it would be a nice mid-level corporate retreat (they have a great meeting space that was not utilized during our stay).

LOVED this place!!! It was a really easy walk from town and felt like you were stepping into another world. It is beautiful. We stayed in a cabin, which was quaint, comfortable, and clean. Slept to the sound of the river. The property is gorgeous and we had an amazing breakfast that included eggs, toast, fruit, cheese empanada, fresh juice and coffee. I wanted to stay! Pool was cool and clean .

The grounds are beautiful with all the flowers, hummingbirds and river going through the back area. The pool was a welcome treat.

Mindo Real was paradise. The accomodations are modern, clean, comfortable and set in a network of carefully tended gardens, filled with bromeliads, dahlias, banana trees, other cloud forest flora. When our hired bird guide dropped us off back at MR after a morning of birding elsewhere, she recited a long list of birds to see THERE, too. The pool is large, sparkling and surrounded by lounge furniture, showers, changing rooms, covered bbq area. The breakfasts were delicious and bountiful.

Me encanto el Hotel, pero me dieron una habitación mucho mas pequeña a la de la foto, y en la descripción no indicaron que la piscina era fría.
