50/50 THE PROS AND CONS: THE ROOM HAD A MOLD PROBLEM AND WHEN I NOTIFIED THE STAFF THEY SAID I CAN'T SWITCH ROOMS. EVERYTHING WAS BREAKING. THE TV WAS HORRIBLE. IT DID NOT WORK WELL AND WHAT DID WAS SPANISH. NO SCREENS ON THE WINDOWS SO MOSQUITOS WOULD JUST FLY RIGHT IN AND BITE YOU.....THE PROS: NICE ROOFTOP AREA FOR YOGA AND SWIMMING. FREE BICYCLES TO TOUR AROUND TULUM..GOOD LOCATION ; QUITE ECOLOGICAL NEIGHBORHOOD, GREAT WALKS, GOOD CAFE AROUND THE CORNER. GOLD MEMBER HINT: IF YOU DECIDE TO STAY CHOOSE THE LARGER ROOMS ON THE SECOND FLOOR AND YOU SHOULD HAVE A GOOD EXPERIENCE....

Clean simple hotel. Like the location, service was top notch. The rooms with a kitchenette are certainly worth the extra.

Absolutely great experience with Azul hotel. The hotel is in a new part of town, pretty quiet area. I had a car and I liked their parking in front of hotel that was safe. The hotel building is also new. At least I had this impassion... The front desk staff is very friendly and helpful. They provided all needed information and helped with the luggage. My room was spacious. I loved the space. The only one negative detail is about their cleaning and towel policy that they can do that once in 3 days. I am ok with the room cleaning service, but in my opinion the towels should be changed every day. Good news is when I asked for fresh towels they bring them in few mins . I recommend this hotel!

Well first allow me to say that Sergio was absolutely fantastic, he made a not so pleasant experience a little better however the picture aren’t as accurate as they would have you believe. We waited more than an hour for our suite to be prepped and ready. The jacuzzi was outside on the patio and was not cleaned. To make a long story short we were disappointed and decided to stay at another location within the same area.

The basic room we stayed in seemed as if it were partition off from the main apartment. Our room was basic, a bed, TV and safe. No iron, coffee maker, mini fridge or a welcome bottle of water. The room had plenty of closet spaces , good if you’re traveling with a lot of luggage and you need the space. No chairs in the room, no desk, WiFi is good. I asked for a change of towels, sheets etc, around 8 in the morning, only to return 10 hours later without the room being cleaned and serviced. Limited choices of restaurants in the area, you will need a car, scooter or bike to get around comfortably.

My stay a Azul Tulum was an amazing experience! Sergio was super attentive, the hotel in a beautiful area and everything is near by or a bike ride away LOL. Overall experience was excellent no complaints.

I enjoyed my stay at the Azul Tulum by Guru Hotel, Sergio was amazing and the rooftop pool was simply breathtaking. The location is in Aldea Zama which appears to be a newer development so a few taxi drivers had issues finding the place but the Hotel Staff was available via WhatsApp to guide them. I stayed in two of the different hotel options so I got to experience the hotel in its entirety. The only feedback I have is that when I moved into the King Deluxe (Standard King room) the lighting wasn't the best. Also due to construction, there was a day where it was extremely noisy and I couldn't get much sleep or work done during the day. We also experience a few times where the electricity went out briefly (20 seconds max) and we had to inform the staff to reset the water so that we could have hot water. I hear this is a common thing in Tulum. Overall, the small issues didn't take away from the amazing experience. The staff was personable and ready to help any way they could. The location was nice and safe and bikes and other ammenties were abundant. I'd recommend staying at this hotel and would surely come back also.

The employees there are very helpful. Every time me or my family needed something they were there to help with a smile on.

I came to Tulum for a short business trip. The hotel was near most of the restaurants using the bike. I hadn’t ridden a bike in years! I used the rooftop pool late at night and the water was a perfect temperature. Sergio at the hotel was really what made this experience phenomenal. He went above and beyond with anything I needed. I will be back thanks to people like Sergio!
