THE US GRANT, a Luxury Collection Hotel, San Diego

Loved everything ❤ stayed here for son's wedding at sunset cliffs. So close to reception restaurant. Will be back very soon!

I had the worst experience of my life with this hotel. Let’s not count the very rude staff; However I paid 530 dollars for 2 nights and I received a room without a fridge, microwave or at least free internet. On top of all of that I was charged an additional 100 for valet parking that I didn’t use. Further more the only time the valet person brought my car to me they opened my trunk using my keys and since the lady was not patient enough to wait for my car to automatically open the trunk she rammed it open in the middle of it automatically opening and as a result my trunks hydraulic door was damaged. All I can say is: Shame on you all. This was the worst experience I’ve ever had in my life.

There was a silly cup, a coffee lid, and more junk tucked away in the blinds super gross esp with coronavirus going on and my room had to be downgraded. The overall experience was a 3/5 but the customer service was 100/10 the issue did get handled immediately just not in the exact way I would have wanted. -Marriott Bonvoy Member

Room was clean, I had peace of mind and was able to relax. The room was very nice and had a nice view of Horton plaza.

Stayed a night for a nearby family event. The national historic US Grant has been on our bucket list for over 25 years and we were not disappointed! Amazing service from valet, front desk and the indoor Grant Grill! A special recognition to Rex, Pablo & José for the best cocktails and service ever! We felt comfortable and safe with the pandemic standards. Our room was complimentary upgraded and it was very clean, comfortable, excellent view and decorated in style. A serenade by street vendors in the evening was an added bonus! Room service and brunch in the Grant Grill was tasty and reasonably priced. Our stay was so wonderful that my wife cried when we had to leave.

Great hotel stay with the family

Great location, in the middle of the Gas Lamp district. Beautiful lobby. I didn't get the opportunity to explore their amenities, but they are dog friendly, and this was a plus for me! They do add an additional $150.00 fee for dogs under 34/35lbs. The area did lack a place to walk your dog though, like a grassy area (unless I missed it...but then again I wasn't advised of one either). I stayed in a Jr. Suite, and thought it seemed a little small than what the picture portrayed. but it was still a lovely room. Soft bed and pillows, 2 smart TV's, a couch, a chair, and some tables. They charge $50.00 for valet parking, and self-parking is limited. Overall I enjoyed my stay.

Beautiful hotel and a great location I wish they were informed us that everything in the hotel was closed bars restaurants etc.
