Bright & Spacious Studio @ eco houseboat!

The houseboat was awesome! I’m jealous of Arie and his brother who gets to live there full time. Everything seemed brand new. New floors, new shower, new toilet, etc. Great location. 15 minute walk and your in the center of Amsterdam. I cannot say enough good things about this place.

Nice clean and modern space. Walkable from train station and to most parts of the city. Host was great.

There was a little problem with the check in as the owner was out of town and the previous guests locked the door incorrectly making it impossible to get into the unit. He was quick to send his brother and once we determined what the problem was everything was fixed quickly. It made for a funny travel story. We had a great time staying at this place and would definitely recommend it.

Arie's boat is PERFECT. Newly renovated with perfect clean finishes and so many nice touches, like great shower and bath and sink fixtures. I stayed in the front room which had it's own separate access up the stairs onto the deck. (There is another room for rent next door, in the middle of the boat -- I never saw or heard my neighbors, it is very private.) The bed is so comfortable and it's great to wake up to the sun through the skylights and windows. This area is very pretty and safe and has restaurants and markets (and at least 1 good coffeeshop, Baba) but it is much quieter than the center of town -- very quiet on the pier at night. It is about a 20-30 minute walk into the center depending on where you're going. I cannot say enough great things about this boat, it is gorgeous inside. Arie has done a fantastic job renovating. Well worth it -- I'll be back!

Ich war mit meinen Kindern 3 Tage auf dem Hausboot von Arie. Wir haben es sehr genossen. Die Zimmer sind sehr originell, schön und sauber. Wir haben herrlich geschlafen und auch die Badezimmer sind herrlich! Vor allem hat uns auch das Oberdeck gefallen, wo wir die Abende ausklingen liessen bei wunderschönen Sonnenuntergängen am Wasser. Zum Zentrum sind es ca. 25 Minuten zu Fuss, natürlich hat es auch Tram und Busse. Vielen Dank Arie, wir haben deine Location sehr genossen und kommen sicher einmal wieder :-)

We have been to Amsterdam before staying in a hotel but wanted to try something different. The boat is situated within a mile of Central station in a peaceful part of the city. Restaurants and attractions very near by. Recommend

Nice place, but the add is misleading you're renting a cabin on the boat only. It's a long walk if you're coming home after the busses quit running. It was hard to find.
