Fairfield Inn by Marriott Rochester East

Having a reservation and at check in being told that Expedia over booked the hotel and there wasn't a room for us really SUCKED!!!!! Then having to drive twenty minutes to a different hotel really SUCKED!!! We booked the room so we could be close to the people we were visiting. This has NEVER happened to me in my life. Great policy Expedia!!! THANKS A LOT!!! Do you think we’ll book a room through Expedia again???

Nice hotel friendly staff.just they were super busy

First, I chose a room package with a bathtub to be able to bathe my 2 grandchildren. There was no tub. Then, specifically choosing this hotel for the use of their pool, we had to work around other guests scheduled pool time in 45 minute blocks. By the time we got in, there were floating tumbleweaves and no towels (thankfully we brought a couple of our own). To top it all off, after a long drive home I'm now forced to perform damage control. In order to prevent an infestation of my home, I'm taking measures to debug my luggage and van. We are all covered in bedbug bites. Yes, it could've been worse, and may still if I've brought home any hitchhikers. They'll be getting the exterminator/new mattresses bills if that happens.

Staff was super nice! Bed was so comfortable and room was very clean! All for a great price!

The sheets were disgusting. There was a stain that I can only imagine was from bodily fluids amping with hairs on the sheets when I pulled the covers back. The person who came to the room tried to hand me the sheets as if I was expected to change the sheets as if it was my fault that day staff did not do their job. Durning this pandemic to go into a room and have a stranger body fluid on the sheets is unacceptable and the most disrespectful thing that your staff could have done. There is absolutely NO EXCUSE for this- none. The young lady changed the sheet but not the pillow cases I’m not convinced that they would have changed the pillow cases if they didn’t change the sheets. That’s not even anything I should have had to question. Disgusting.

Clean rooms, quiet area, free hbo GO, nfl network. Great stay.

Everything was fine. Staff were helpful and nice. The room was clean. With the pandemic, they still had breakfast, just packaged cereal and granola bars. Room was quiet. No complaints.

The front desk receptionist was awesome. She made us feel welcoming.

We had a very good time. We had a few minor issues that were taken care of quickly by the woman at the front desk who was very nice. We enjoyed the fact that we could reserve a time for the pool and have it just be the four of us. A few downfalls were that the temp never went below 71 in the room, even though we pushed the button down to 64, and that the mini fridge froze things that shouldn't have froze. Also, I didn't have our Netflix information with us so we couldn't watch it but watched HBO, Showtime and YouTube instead because you didn't need to sign into them. I would stay again!

I liked this property a lot! The front desk lady was really nice and professional. I had to leave early due to some personal issues the night i got there but the front desk girl (i forget her name sorry!) understood and check out was just as easy. The room was really nice as well, i did have a small issue with it but i hope it was taken care of after i left.
