Hotel Blanco Tulum

Good price but don’t stay in room below pool. The pool jet is very loud in the room.

Accommodations were exceptional! People were very friendly and welcoming!

Nice, new hotel in town but not far from the beach. Nice pool on roof. Bike to beach. Construction in a lot of areas.

Check-in process was nice and easy, was in my room in 10-15 mins once I arrived. The room was big, can fit 4 people comfortably. Wifi went in and out but not a big issue since I had gone down to disconnect and relax. If you wanted peace and quiet, this isn't the place as the music from below is loud and there is early morning construction. Not an issue for me but might be for others.

I wouldn't recommend anyone staying at this place for at least another year,big construction next door, noise started from 6:45 am , drilling, hammering , building another hotel I guess. Internet is very bad ,tv doesn't work , bathroom door lock was broken, new hotel,nice property but employees don't know how to deal with customers,some customer skills needed for sure (we worked in the same industry for 22 years ) We just mentioned upon check out all the issues , never asked for money back,no one cared , we were thinking to stay 2 weeks but luckily booked 1 night to see if we like it and I am glad we did that !!!

Very loud music from the bar in front of the room and extremely uncomfortable hard bed...

Hotel looks nice. Unfortunately when we arrived they put us in someone else’s room with chips food etc. still in there but we were confused because the bed was made. At least they moved us to another room which had trash on balcony. HUGE LOUD CONSTRUCTION right next-door building new hotel. You could not hear yourself think at all during the daytime with jackhammers etc. Noise carried straight through due to open design. No refund or apology. The CABLE TV DID NOT WORK THE ENTIRE TIME. They said the whole area was down but when we changed hotels a few blocks away the TVs there worked just fine. So they lied to us! We had to watch YouTube videos for entertainment which we tried to stay out of the hotel as much as possible due to the construction. Also the POWER WENT OUT for a few hours and there was NO RUNNING WATER for that time either. Apparently this happens often! It was early evening and getting dark when it came on but in the heat of the day or at night this would have been a disaster. And no refund of any kind or apology. Will not return! We pretty much had to plan our entire time outside of this place to avoid all of the noise and problems.

When i arrived in the middle of a bad storm for my check in at the hotel with no water and no electricity in town, Laura from the front was kind as well as the other front desk agent lady (sorry i do not remember her name) and explained to me about the whole situation and gave me the option to check for another place to stay. With very bad and dangerous weather out there i decided to stay and i am very glad that i did, few hours later the power and water came back and i had a very nice stay, my room was very comfortable! Thanks.
